Thank you and bless you, @unk-p, for posting Coyote's profoundly wise, loving and uplifting message.  Coyote clearly led you to find it.  You were meant to share his words with all of us.  We need to hear it now, more than ever.

I'm sending you a big hug right now, dear friend.  💗

@unk-p

Wow!  What a post!!!!!

Coyote is indeed speaking to many of us on the forum in a variety of ways.  I also believe he helped me find one of his old posts directed to Jeanne for her birthday last year.  It was amazing and perfect timing for her to read.  People are noticing things regarding Coyote in their daily lives too.

The old message you posted of his is perfect! This part is particularly meaning fun today wouldn't you say?

“When we share our cause with others, allies appear; synergy occurs. And when we act for causes larger than ourselves, the larger community for whom we do this will be acting through us.” I already see this synergy happening all the time in this forum. We’re all lightworkers, sharing our causes of living through this profoundly draining period of transition. And we’ve kept each other going. Remember how frightening and scary things were 3 years ago? But this community has only continued to reach new heights.

I am so happy you found that entire message tucked away in your email.  It was truly waiting for you to discover it again at the right time wasn't it?

Thank you also for validating  the nudge I got to post about  the NRA meeting.  I would LOVE to see your sign.  Yesterday and today I began to wonder if a lot of protestors would show up at the convention. I imagine they will.  May you be guided to work with and through the light Unk-P.  You truly will carry all of us who can't physically join you along for the journey my friend.  Unk-p will represent all of us on the site, even those lurking. You will carry hundreds of light workers with you my friend!

Forgot to mention, I felt tingling while writing the above post, especially during the part where I said we would be with you @unk-p

@unk-p Ok Unk.. now you have me weeping. Tears? Are healing... Did you know that tears have different chemical composition with the  causes or emotions that invoke them?  https://health.clevelandclinic.org/tears-why-we-cry-and-more-infographic/

I have cried so much today I am drained, exhausted but in the place of the fear once again... Hope and Faith lift their faces once more from the heavy downpour.. and.. I feel at Peace. Pain has washed out, sadness remains, as well as resolution to do all that is in my power to make a change for the better.

Love ... never dies... it only changes form. But it hurts when it happens, Lord does it hurt.

Like many of you, I am in a very dark place right now. I just don't even want to go on. If you have any extra light to send my way, I'd appreciate it.

I kept my kids home from school yesterday but I know that is unsustainable. I guess they'll go back in today, and I, like every other parent of schoolage kids in America, will just pray they come home at the end of the day.

It's enough to make you want to give up entirely.

(Don't worry, I'm not on the verge of doing anything stupid, I just feel very hopeless.)

@sistermoon  You are not alone and we all know well the weight of that dark place. Thank you for reaching out and asking for what you need here in this space..with your Tribe.

Sending you much Light and Love and seeing us all holding hands and sharing the Light as we pass it from one to another/each other until we are all comforted and fortified even as we wade through this dark, murky water of troubled times.

Big hugs.

I have a school aged granddaughter and I do fear for her safety in a myriad of ways but I do not feel hopeless right now, I feel quietly angry. The repubs are organized and disciplined while we are not.

We must speak up and take over. We need to reframe the political messages especially regarding guns. No one asks about the rights of children to go to school without being shot. Are they "free" barricaded in a school, practicing "active shooter" drills? What about the right to be free of fear, the right to saftey?  Who will be willing to teach our children with low pay, impossible demands and poorly prepared students due to inadequate pre-school availability not to mention danger both from without and within schools?

There is a double standard; they want to be "free" to bully, intimidate and infect others with no regards to the rights of others. We need to call them out using their own language and paradigm.

PSA announcement.  If you have a child or grandchild in school, now would be a wonderful time to share your appreciation with your child's teacher or teachers. They are doing everything they can to care for your kids right now but they also need some care as well.  It is something you CAN do for them and it may have a big impact.

This is the last week of school for my music teacher daughter and one of her students brought her a bouquet of flowers yesterday.  Those flowers made her spirit rise.  I could hear it as she spoke about the gesture to me on the phone during her ride home from school.

Don't forget the other teachers at school your child has outside of their regular classroom teacher.  The art, music, P.E.,  reading specialist, gifted, speech teachers and paraprofessionals. You don't need to buy anything.  Your child can write a note or pick some flowers or make something.  I am simply suggesting that now is the time to let the love flow, love heals.  We know that when we give light, the light finds its way back to us.

As you can tell by the reaction of @dannyboy today, this shooting is also gutting our educators. 40 minutes to an hour for a shooter to be barricaded in a classroom is simply gutting.

Sometimes it feels like there is nothing we can do, that things are so hopeless and tragic it takes everything we have to move through the day.  I am suggesting that you take the opportunity to share some light.  That light and love will seep into the cracks and begin to cause a reaction in the person you just shared your light with. A reaction within yourself.  Within the sender as well as the recipient.

Help your child fill this time, this space, their school, their teachers, their fellow students with love and light. Help yourself to do it as well.

This is a start.  It is only the beginning, but begin we must.

I got dad into rehab last evening, and thought that I'd be able to come & give some thoughts I've had in the last few days. However, I find myself sitting in the ER yet again waiting for a room to open up for them to see dad. Pardon me if I ramble or otherwise don't express myself well. Also, try to ignore my typos.

As I cried the other night hearing the news, yes I was transported back in time. The situation may be different,  but the anguish of a group  of parents worried about the fate of their children is all too familiar. As I thought of those children,  I naturally thought of Monica & clearly heard/ felt "We are here helping them". The children's lives here are gone, but they are transitioning with help of like souls.

For those who can't grasp why, or who are looking for comfort because they can't understand ( @unk-p, @dannyboy, @ lovendures, @sistetmoon, @raincloud, @journeywithme2. & all those I've missed given my circumstances) maybe I can give a little comfort from my experience.

Nothing will justify or make "right" what happened to these children or their teachers. Nothing will fill their loss. But I can tell you from my experience I have come to believe Monica & I made a pact that she'd sacrifice herself & I'd become an advocate on her behalf. Things had to change. There were many advocates before me,  but only some progress was made. Significant progress was made (some at a snails pace) after Monica's crash.

We have many issues currently. Radical politicians, gun issues,  power trips, and the list goes on & on. Every past shooting wasn't the  tipping point. Every past plane crash wasn't the tipping point, until one finally was. The tipping point will be reached. I can't say for certain this one is it, but if not we're close.

This year I was contacted by the editor of the high school paper of Monica's school. She had contacted me in advance of publishing a memorial to the students lost in the crash before she & her classmates were even born. Most weren't even born prior to the completion of the town memorial. She knew all of Monica's social beliefs,  and acknowledged that Monica was light years ahead of the thinking of this rural TFG loving enclave. Still, she fought to get clubs (like friends of LGBTQ) estsblished in spite of push-back from some. She's class president, valedictorian, editor of the paper,  etc. Her post about this tragic incident was to remind her fellow students that they have spent their entire school careers doing active shooter drills. They are becoming voters & they CAN/ WILL influence the future.

Women's rights are being assaulted,  gun violence continues, and some crave to roll back the clock to hold onto power. Look in the mirror,  can any of us really stop or roll back time? Neither can they. Progress will come. People will persevere to overturn what is no longer working.

It is painful to be part v of the cogs of change. I know this without a doubt. But Monica always finds ways of letting me know it was her choice,  and it was worth it for both of souls. This was meant to be our journey for the benefit of others, painful as it was for all.

Hang in there folks- pain is part of injury. But it is also a sign of healing.

@cindy Thank you Cindy... I draw great comfort from those thoughts and happenings. I experienced a very traumatic childhood that I still find remnants of PTSD that can be triggered. I experienced sexual abuse and emotional and physical abuse. I lost my younger brother to suicide and drugs. I lost a niece and a sister-in-law to the same. I experienced a NDE when I was 17 years old and 5 months pregnant. ( I had just turned 18 when she was born.) The Truth in your words vibrates deep within me. Reminding me of what I know. Which at times is very hard to remember and translate in to day to day life when the waves keep crashing overhead and the winds howl.

Yes... we all chose to come here, incarnate at this time we did to be here for this and to do our part. Still.. there are times even the strongest of us feel weary and worn and hopeless. Even as our souls know better... our Earth egos are more fragile and fraught.

Thank you for taking the time to remind and lift up all of us here in this incarnation and encourage us to continue to facilitate the change and growth we must bring about to take humanity forward.

We do indeed..make good trouble and fight the good fight.

I appreciate your sharing and pulling me back out of the 10% of the time rabbit hole that I fall in sometimes.

Sending much Love and Light and many thanks.  It's cloudy and rainy in my corner of the world today, a coolish temp.... I am cranking up John Prine and letting his wisdom soothe my soul this afternoon. Y'all play your music loud and wash through you and wash away some of the hurt and pain. Music.. is healing too.

Got to add this one : It came on during the John Prine selection I have on playing from YouTube:

https://youtu.be/Le-3MIBxQTw    Alabama Shakes, Hold On.

@journeywithme2 and @cindy - maybe both of your souls also came here to comfort your fellow companions through your pain. I logged on to the forum today in tears for the 25th time today and feel so comforted by your posts. I've spent this lifetime trying to figure out why we are on this earth, and sometimes it truly feels like some kind of punishment or hell. the depth of human meanness and this country's penchant for self-implosion built on hate. I'm cognizant of humanity's capacity for beauty as well, and art, music, nature, love, and particularly the love of a child, can be transcendent. But this week, these past few years, have really pushed the limits of my ability to see the light. Thank you for holding fast, and reaching out, and telling your stories, and giving hope. I have a post-it on my desk with one of Jeanne's messages from the angels:

"Do not despair. You came to do good work and you have the opportunity to do it now! It is an honor to be here. You get to rise. You are rising." Hold fast everyone.

@meliaamal   Sending you a heartfelt hug and lots of Light and Comforting, healing Energy. As the kids like to say "No worries, you've got this"

I would add "remember... you are not alone and it's ok to ask for help 🌻 "

Incredibly sad reports now that the husband of killed teacher Irma Garcia died today from what appears to be a heart attack after delivering flowers for his wife at the funeral home.  They have 4 children, 2 who are minors. May this family and all effected families be surrounded by love, light and hope.

i listened to the press conference today in   Uvalde and listened to coverage afterwards  . The timeline felt incredibly disturbing to me.  Seemingly so many moments where this could have played out differently . I wondered .  Did the people who were shot at on his way to school not call to warn the police and the school?  What would I have done? I dont know.  What if they had been warned.
Would they still be alive?  Maybe they were….  So so sad.

I then started to think about silence , standing up and facing things head on.  What holds us back?  I had an aggressive incident with a landscaper this week.  I discovered how good it feels to stand up and speak plainly .

sending love and healing  to them all, the teachers, the students and the families .

@lovendures  There are so many posts I can truly not "like" but I understand it is a way to signify to the OP that I have read and seen their very important words.

My heart is breaking for these children who have lost both their parents in such a brutal way. I pray there are relatives to step in and help them hold on to each other and strengthen each other in the difficult days ahead.

I pray without ceasing for the healing of all who have experienced the terror and despair and loss of these mass shootings. I pray without ceasing that this country wake-up and stop the carnage once and for all.

My Governor, Brian Kemp, recently signed in to law in April that Georgians can carry concealed weapons without a permit/license. With all of the Oath Keepers/Proud Boys around it feels like they are preparing for civil war if they don't get their way. I would rather crossover and go Home than live like they do.

There has to be gun control - arming and mounting "guards" at schools is like imprisoning our children... they are not the ones in need of correction and control. Pray this time was the tripping point and sanity and restraint and gun control begin to be the prevalent answer to the crisis.
