The Ponderer family is struggling. I am currently on leave for mental health issues, our daughter is struggling with an eating disorder, and my wife is in a slump with her organizing business. The only "up" person is our 12 year old son with the severe speech delay.
I could really use a well timed rainbow right about now.
@walden-ponderer sending prayers to you and your family. In fact for all of us and our families. Seems everyone is struggling. ???
Hi Jeanne, I was listening to the radio when I read your post and Dr Norman Swan (Jonathan Swan who interviewed Trump, his father) was talking about that and he was saying it wasn't as bad as people feared in children. He has been doing Covid talks since this began in Australia on the ABC radio and he has a lot of listeners, he has a lot of common sense and explains things well.
So I have looked up some sites and articles about it and while that seems to be the case according to articles I think a lot of the information could be before Delta started going strong. I will put the articles etc I found into the Covid 19 thread. Some good, some bad, hope they help with information and make it easier for parents to make decisions. Hopefully not confuse even more.
Regards to all
Wanted to add a request for prayers/healing/light to Mallory - the daughter of distant relative who is a young woman in her 20s. Went in to have an infected gallbladder removed and something went awry and her lungs are now badly infected (they are not sure of the cause.) She has held steady the last couple of days in the ICU (she has been in there for over a week), but they are still trying to figure out how best to help her recover. Thank you!
Hi all - I just wanted to share a little bit of good news with you all. I heard today that Mallory (whom I posted about in July) was just released to go home today! She was in very bad shape for a long time with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS—not from COVID) but it started turning around a couple of weeks ago and she is recovering. Many thanks to those of you who were able to send healing, light, a good thought and/or prayers.
Much light to you and your family! I totally get the need for a well-timed rainbow. I do hope something takes a good turn for you all very soon. Hang in there!
Can't wait to hear about all the rainbows you are going to start noticing.
May there be plenty to lift you.
Hello community, I heard from my cousin John yesterday. He needs prayers and healing. They discovered a mass on his heart. He is weak and has to make some choices. They were very blunt with his options. He is such a good man. 58 years old and facing the possibility of a heart transplant. He is at Tufts Medical Center. Prayers for healing, clarity and peace for him and for doctors who are creative with their healing modalities. . When I spoke with him, I could hear his string voice and will. I am hopeful. Miracles happen.
@kksali I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Sending love and light for clarity and guidance as he and his doctors consider the best way forward.
Prayers for John. May his doctors find the best path to help him. May he remain optimistic and hopeful and may his heart be wrapped in healing energy and love.
@kksali oh this is tough news, dear friend. May angels heal him and all whose lives are touched by his situation.
@kksali Prayers for his Highest Good and all concerned. Miracles are available to be granted to us all and I ask for John's miracle be made manifest for him. Asking that AA Raphael and angels tend him and that God bless all hands that touch him to be Healing,Loving hands. Amen.

He said he had a great nights sleep last night. i know he is feeling all the love and light from this amazing community . TY - ❤️
I popped on Facebook tonight for the first time in awhile. I was quite shocked to discover a friend had just posted a Facebook live video from the hospital. She has covid and currently has pretty poor oxygen readings, has difficulty breathing and has both Covid and bacterial pneumonia. ( I didn't realize there was a specific Covid pneumonia). She looks in pretty bad shape and she is scared.
It was shocking to actually see someone I know documenting their hospital Covid journey. Really shocking. I have known her through her first marriage, divorce, second marriage, daughter's wedding and birth of her grandchild. We have shared our family ups and downs.
I then went back to her first live video post from the hospital yesterday where she sounded pretty good and she was upbeat. What a difference a day makes.
I would like to give an update on my friend Heather.
There is great reason for concern.
Heather hasn't posted on FB in 3 days. She made a total of 4 videos from her hospital room, her most recent post was written with a photo describing how difficult her time in the hospital has been so far. She was struggling, in pain and not too hopeful. She also felt isolated. The doctors had said she was doing better than most on her covid floor and she couldn't believe people could be much worse than she was feeling. She was fearful of being placed on a vent but appeared to be hanging in there and clinging to the positive things doctors were telling her.
I know doctors were concerned about something going on with her heart, there was a discussion about a the possibility of a pacemaker needing to be implanted which freaked her out. ( Covid damage).
Heather has a child in High School and two 20 somethings. She is a first time grandmother to a 5 month old little girl. Her granddaughter also got covid but I believe she is ok now. Her household is 7 members currently including her granddaughter and 5 of them got Covid. She had covid early in the pandemic also but chose not to get the vaccination when it became available and still felt that was the correct decision even after being hospitalized.
My parents know her very well and are also quite concerned. They saw her for an outdoor lunch with her husband about a month before she got sick. Heather has had a difficult life, has made great progress in recent years and they have mentored her over the past several years.
Thank you.
@lovendures Sending Heather and her family golden healing light. In the Cirlce of Light Meditations Jeanne would guide us to hospital rooms with COVID patients. I love this technique to reach out to people in need. Visiting her in this same way in my meditation.
@anya, @walden-ponderer, @kksali and her cousin John, @lovendures and her friend, Heather, @nelysthealchemist, @ghandigirl, @sistermoon, and to all who are facing a challenging time, whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual,
I am holding all of you in prayer, as I light a white candle, which serves as a reminder to me that we are all connected in spirit. Each time I glance at the flame, my mind and heart travels to all of you and your loved ones, sending protection, resilience and healing. May the light of that spirit penetrate any darkness, offering holy illumination, strength, hope and peace.
@cc21, I am very happy to hear of Mallory's recovery! May she continue to heal and become stronger every day.
?
@lovendures Many prayers for Heather and her family - seeing them surround in the White Holy Light swirled through with Love and Healing ribbons of pink and green. Asking God to bless all hands that touch her be Healing, Loving Hands. Amen.TYGFAP
