Anybody here thinks that it’s not a coincidence that T has a parade extravaganza and we have an earthquake the same day in California? I think we are so “shaken” (pun intended) by this absurd yet scary display of authoritarianism that we literally made California shake ?. The power of critical mass!

Thanks for pointing out that there were hits about earthquakes.  I want to post these hits on the Prediction page, and also on the page that tabulates all hits by year.  But I need help from people, especially when the predictions were made outside of the Read the Future Night Predictions.

So if someone  sees a hit and you have the time to document it, then please post the hit HERE with this information: 1. Exact words used, (2)who predicted  it, (3) the date they made the prediction, (4) the date they made the prediction for;  and (5) a link to a corroborating news story. If you don't have time, no worries, I will try to get to it when I can.

I'm glad that you pointed it out.

JUST FELT THIS ONE!!!

My chair shook a couple of times - I thought it was our cat trying to crawl under it, lol.

We are fine. Apparently a 7.1 near Ridgecrest, near epicenter of the other day.  That's 120+ miles away.

It is VERY active right now.  Hope everyone in California, north and south are staying prepared.  There was reported small buoy wave  movement off of Mendicino in the ocean, which seems to suggest that something may be brewing over there.

I agree with Jeanne that we must be mindful of what we put out there. As Spiderman’s uncle said (more or less) with great power comes great responsibility. Even though I don’t consider my powers great, I always try to be mindful of what I post and what others could make of it. We don’t always know who the audience of readers is and how they interpret what is posted. Although I think everyone on here is trying to do something positive, it is a good reminder at an especially active time to be mindful.

If I can just add to what Jeanne said -- we tuned into a news station to see what was what last night. They had a scientist from Caltech, a Dr. Jones, on to explain what was going on. First of all I LOVE HER.

Reporters kept asking her to predict things, including "The Big One", as if she is a psychic, LOL. She did an excellent job of explaining exactly what went on in Ridgecrest CA the last couple of days, and went on to reiterate, many times, that "Seismic activity does not occur on a human time scale, we're talking about millions of years here."

For those interested, this was not from the San Andreas Fault system, it was from another one. This was a "side slip" quake, not an "up/down" one (she cited the 1994 Northridge quake as an up/down that pushes the mountains up). Of note is that this particular fault, on these quakes, expanded in a northwesterly direction. USGS will be sending geologists out to investigate beginning today. There's been a fair amount of damage, but luckily no one has died or been seriously injured as far as we know. It's important to understand that while everyone knows the San Andreas may cause The Big One at some point, we don't know when, BUT also every time another fault becomes energetic, it helps to take some of the pressure off San Andreas.

I used to be scared of earthquakes, and never thought I'd move to CA in my lifetime as a result. But as I get older, I get less and less afraid of things that are "not on a human time scale" and that I can't control. At this point, I'm more afraid of tornadoes (but not that much), and frankly it's human activity that I can't control that terrifies me.

There are earthquakes every day in CA. We all do our best to stay prepared, as should everyone for any emergency. Precognitive specificity is next to impossible here at the "Rim of Fire". I also do not believe that anything spiritual has anything to do with earthquakes, sorry, as they have always existed and will always exist on this planet, regardless of whether humans continue to exist or not.

As for me, if Southern and Baja California get tossed into the sea by an earthquake, I will at least know I got to live here for some years, where it's pretty, the weather is good, and the people have mostly good intentions.  Stay safe, everyone, and remember to get outside your own heads once in a while and go enjoy something, anything.

Cheers from SoCal!
