@jeanne-mayell ❤️ I'm reading your post and thinking Kermit/Rainbow Connection and all the variations I have discovered this afternoon of renditions from Streisand to Willie Nelson and a host of others. Just before I hit add reply, I realized you were responding to my earlier post about Josh Groban, NOT Kermit!!! 😀 Oh my! Kermit and Josh, both great in their own ways! Besides, Josh has sung with the Muppets, several times over the years. He and Grover are fast friends and well, Miss Piggy was quite entranced & he dated her after she split from Kermit a few years back. 🤣 There's a YouTube.
The sound of Per Te, Yes. Healing at the highest level. I was lucky enough to met Josh back in 2005 in Phoenix. I went with a friend of mine who was the teacher for the "Second-Grade Grobanites." Social media was in its kindergarten stage (not sure we are even now out of the teen years!) and Josh's mother and Josh had become entranced with my friend's second grade class (they posted on his site via my friend) and so his mother arranged with my friend to meet us before the concert. He was amazing. He was only 19 at the time, but he was so good with the kids, who became starstruck and frozen when he came into the room. They scattered to the walls with wide-eyes but he coaxed them all back into laughter and fun. He did the hokey-pokey with us. Yes. He did the hokey-pokey with five adults and 16 children.
As far as Kermit is concerned....now that I can control when and how much I hear the song (yay message delivered!) I happened upon (ha!) this YouTube interview with the man who wrote Rainbow Connection, Paul Williams (and Kenny Ascher.) It's a great interview about what went into the writing of the song. Trust Faith Magic No wonder Spirit put it in my ear for us, I was just a little slow in knowing where the message was to go! One of the things Williams said was that they wrote it in "Kermit-speak" and when they were playing it for Jim Hensen to approve or not, it wasn't working, so Williams said, "We need Kermit himself" so Hensen went and got Kermit and sang the song as Kermit and it worked. I remember Paul Williams from his uhmm, disagreement with Anita Bryant decades ago. I had no idea he had written all the songs to the Muppet movie and many many other hit songs. Anyway, here I am off track again. I better go to bed if I am to see you at Circle in the morning! 🌼

Your jewelry sounds awesome! Chakra bracelets & bookbinding, wow! Super stuff. Years and years ago (1968) when I was in college, I had a creative writing prof who gave us an assignment to write a story AND then bind it—not a skill set I continued, the binding not the writing! Your journals sound marvelous. One of the first meditations I ever led I called Rainbow Steps, so I get the fascination with "sequences of all the colors."

Even though I am in Australia we also had the Rocky and Bullwinkle show and I really loved it, especially Boris and Natasha and fractured fairytales . I still think to myself when I have done something silly, wrong way peach fuzz.
I am wondering if part of the anxiety might be that now De Santis has pulled out at the beginning of all the primaries (is that the right term?) that there is really only Nikki Haley standing against Trump being named the candidate, and that will really be an uphill battle.

I too have sensed a disturbance in the force for about the last week. It isn’t that I feel a sense of panic. It’s more a feeling of being on shaky ground and not feeling safe with current situations. I haven’t quite sorted out how much of that is my own stuff and how much is the collective. I can say though that I currently have a visceral and negative reaction to the news - whether it be on tv or reading it. It seems like some kind of mischief, hiding something or misleading people is happening and I can’t quite get a handle on it.
Is anyone here feeling a sense of dread again, like we started feeling on September 12 when @lovendures posted she was having a sense of anticipated dread and grief? Her post showed she was sensing the impending HAMAS invasion almost to a T. A ton of us began posting feelings of dread and angst, 3 am awakenings. Then HAMAS invaded Israel a few weeks later and the world went upside-down.
It's been a slow and steady, unending sense of foreboding for months for me - I'm just tuning it out more.
Living through massive transitions. Man. I don't know what my soul was thinking when it decided this was the time for me. I'm exhausted by all the chaos.
I believe that both recent Read the Future nights I had congress as a three ring circus as a prediction and we're definitely seeing that unfold. That said, there's more to this unease - I think it's more international than just here.

Decades ago I was having repetitive, disturbing dreams and my therapist at the time said something almost identical to what you offered. I did as he suggested, changing the script in the middle of my dream, and discovered there was nothing to fear.
And to think I needed a therapist to tell me that. I could have just asked you and saved the $$$.
