Our dreams about famijy etc.are not our shadow sides unless we are having challenging times with family especially if your home right now with terrible two and three or teenage children. Haha.
Our usual dreams are our subconscious self/mind/ side trying to resolve/heal relationships we never fully were able to or our daily fears and anxieties about this reality/ world/ dimension that we are healing our relationships with
Insert all of this before the word shadow and its discussion .
I post on a cell phone and it and, my phones online connection in a zombie house with almost no bars to work with of service) where realities come and go over 50 years of studying, learning, working on and working in and out of many energies and alternative realities as I've helped others on my own personal journey.
Things happen to and with and because of me all the time that are beyond strange and unusual.

"Wow! Lots and lots of wild and fun dreams! I spent decades analyzing dreams--my own and others as many of mine did involve Astral travel or were prophetic.
I learned over the years that almost all dreams that involve family members, friends, your pets (here now or over the rainbow bridge already) or your working and other relationship groups seeking through is your own sleepyime/dreamtime subsubconscious self/mind/ side trying to resolve/heal relationships we never fully were able to or our daily fears and anxieties about this reality/ world/ dimension that we are healing our relationships with. Either day by day or night after night seeking healing of sometimes pretty big fears for ourselves, our loved ones, or our world.
The deeper dreamtime which is neverending time or perhaps our collective Neverending Story is often filled with was we see as the dream withing the dream.Here our lives are filled with endless need of learning about, dealing/ healing with our "shadow selves" (the dark side of all of us projecting outwardly into our created realities, (people we can't stand etc.) Shadows sides includeof of the very worse of all things and emotions (bigotry, racism, narcissistic and other personalities) .
Basically, everyone and everything that we truly believe we are not and never could be. Hard to imagine much less believe they are all part of all of us. But this is what also makes up part of our alternate realities and past lives as in many systems and beliefs including ever growing quantum physics and mechanics, there is no barrier between past, present, and future or even in a far larger version the multi-verse.
This is a lot to consider much less understand but part of all of us that seeks to truly heal (ourselves or as energy or shamanic etc healers seeking to help others' theirsselves as well as ourselves at the same time.
What has been your journey to get to where you see your as now?
What intrigues you? What do you identify with? What movies do you most like to watch or books to read?
These can lead you to your sacred archetypes . We usually carry 12 as Carolyn Myss and other presentient/healers/mystics write about working with and discussing the shadow selves, archetypal subconscious etc.
If our dreams are silly or frivolous or quirky or the opposite things like worrisome or fearful thats often you working on yourself in the subconscious fields of dream time.
An alien spacecraft descends on the field. You don't see the spaceship, just light coming down in the fog. There is a crowd of people hailing the arrival of the ship with excitement. And who should walk out of the ship to greet the crowd? It's our current IMPOTUS in Chief. I can see it, but I don't know if the crowd sees him or an alien, but they cheer him on. Then he plans to leave again in the ship, but promises to e-mail the scientists from space. I see the light from the spaceship going up again through the fog. It comes back down again briefly and lands behind a tree in the distance. The crowd dispersing along the road starts to converge on the ship again, but it leaves before they get there.
I love these dreams - your father helping by digging ditches that will draw and direct the flow of water (water as emotional flow and even as divine love) in the right way. When you are "in the flow" you are living a divinely inspired existence.
re Trump in the spaceship: I love that you couldn't see the spaceship because of the fog, you knew it was there because of the light through the fog. We do live in a fog and we can't know the truth of existence. We only know it from its glow. The great Nobel prize-winning physicist Edwin Schroginger wrote about the truth of the tiny particles (and thus our whole world) as unknowable and only understood through metaphor, which is the metaphor of the space ship in the fog. And the great novelist Joseph Conrad, wrote in Heart of Darkness that the truth of a story is only understood as a glow that brings out a haze. So your dream was a perfect metaphor for the messages, the role, and the future of Donald Trump.
So Trump is leaving, but then he returns, and leaves again. Trump has said in one of his many speeches where he reveals his plans that he will go to another country. Many of us have felt he will flee to another country, along with members of his family. But then he reappears because he can't not have his audience and his message will live on though his followers.
The space ship metaphor also fits death, as well as my card reading of July 26 that showed him at the end of January sprouting wings and taking off into the sky.

Wow I’ll tell you guys, I never dream of animals. And the last several nights all kinds are showing up. This time it was a black bear slumbering next to my ex’s house. An ex from 20 years ago.
I have had trouble falling Asleep lately but once I’m asleep man I can’t get up!
I had a 2 layered dream that I think might be prophetic so I thought I would jot it down. I don't remember a lot of it unfortunately.
In the first layer I was at a house with people I did not know in real life. We were in a small room with wooden floors and walls. I noticed an insect like mosquito insect near an indoor plant. It's movements were a bit odd. Not really flying, but moving around quickly. I mentioned the insect and the older gentleman in the room told me it wasn't actually an insect, it had a human form. I then caught the insect gently and looked closely at it and yes indeed it did have a form similar to a human, though it was mostly grayish. It than escaped and I thought how did the humans become the size of insects for was this perhaps a different species all together? I felt they were likely in danger. I thought of life from their perspective, how everything is gigantic to them like in Honey I Shrunk the Kids and life was dangerous.
The last layer of the dream I don't remember well though the insect-like human(s) were not part of this dream. In this dream I knew a mosquito born illness was around and it was serious. Something like an encephalitis-like illness was spreading. When I woke up I had that "knowing" that this was important. I believe that some sort of mosquito transmitted virus will be in the news and it will be infecting humans.
I have a friend whose husband contracted an illness from the mosquito-borne West Nile Virus here in Georgia. He was getting close to retirement age so he was at least in his late 50's or 60's when he got sick with it. A few months later he had ALS and I always wondered if the West Nile Virus infection was somehow related to the ALS diagnosis. Wikipedia says, "The causes of West Nile Virus mediated encephalitis have been explored by Dr. Robyn Klein at Washington University in St. Louis. She has found that West Nile infection increases cytokines and chemokines in the blood, making the blood brain barrier more leaky and susceptible to infection." I don't know if he had symptoms of encephalitis but maybe it made his nervous system more susceptible to infection by some other virus or pathogen which then helped cause the ALS. He died a little over a year after diagnosis at Christmas time.
Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya are other mosquito-borne virus diseases. Zika disease came to the US in 2016-2017 and was mostly in Florida. It was probably brought back by travelers from an endemic country. It hasn't been a problem in the US lately but it could always come back. Travelers could also bring the other illnesses to the US at some future time...
This morning right before I woke up, Tom Snyder of talk show/ news anchor fame appeared in my dream and was "signing off" from his talk show program.
That was total weird and random as I haven't thought of him in years upon years. When someone totally weird and random whom I NEVER think about pops into my dream right before waking up, I take notice.
So I asked myself " why did I dream of Tom Snyder?". I then got the feeling it was related to the Leslie Stahl Trump interview.
Snyder was a news anchor and talk show interviewer. As a talk show host, one of the things he was known for was hard hitting in depth interviews though he also had lighter interviews as well.
I think the Stahl 60 minutes interview is important. This morning, Trump released his own WH footage of the interview, breaking an agreement with 60 minutes. The beginning of the interview is reported to have gone like this: Stahl asked "ready for tough questions." Trump replied that he only wanted her to be "fair." "But you're OK with some tough questions?" Stahl asked."No, I'm not," Trump replied.
I decided to do some Tom Snyder research this morning and found this interesting tidbit. He used to "sign off" from one of his shows with this quote: "Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures, now, as they fly through the air."
Though I am not exactly sure what Snyder said in my dream as a "sign-off", the sign-off he normally said gives me pause. Maybe it's time to just take a seat, chill and let things happen or in Snyder's words, Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures, now, as they fly through the air."
