This experience was not a dream but I don’t know where else to put it.

A few nights ago, I went to bed rather late; my husband was already asleep in bed. It’s important to note that I always, always make sure all the lights are off when I go to bed, particularly the hall light, as it shines in my eyes when I am in bed. I was reading my iPad in bed and my eye was caught over the edge of the iPad by the hall light which appeared to be on. I looked again and it was off.

I thought to myself, “that’s weird,” and got out of bed, walking the length of the house and back to make sure all the lights were off and that there was no intruder. As I walked by the hall light switch, I made a point to confirm to myself that it was off. Everything was dark.

I got back in bed and started reading my iPad again. The hall light turned on. At this point I was lying somewhat rigid in bed, thinking to myself that we either had an intruder or a ghost and I didn’t like either possibility. But I didn’t hear anything, no footsteps, nothing to suggest that there was anyone else in the house. I did not want to wake my husband because he had to get up early for work.

I got back out of bed, turned the hall light off, kept my hand on the switch to make sure I could feel it go from on to off, and went back to bed.

Eventually I got to sleep but as you can imagine, it took awhile.

I have no explanation for any of this but I am absolutely positive that I was not asleep nor was I in the twilight state.

@2ndfdl

I have no thoughts which might help you but I do have a weird story to share regarding lights.

While on vacation in Colorado one night 2 years ago, my daughters had a very weird experience.  They each were sleeping in two different rooms and not long after they went to  bed my youngest, who was 20 at the time, came into my room rather un-nerved.  She was a bit freaked out because each time she turned off her bedroom lightened popped into bed a minute would go by and then her light would suddenly turn on again all by itself.

My room was at the end of a long a hallway and her room was at the other end. So together we walked back down the long hallway , passing 2 bedrooms and the family room.  She then demonstrated what was going on by turning off her light.  We waiting for a moment but instead of the light turning on by itself, we heard the footsteps of her older sister running down the hallway and then  she suddenly appeared in our room.  She was totally freaked out telling us that her light kept turning on and off.   I was perplexed but calm for the most part.

I thought for a moment and then told my oldest to head back to her room and turn on her light again.   She apprehensively headed back down the hallway and into her room.  Suddenly, the light in the room were remained in turned off again.

Apparently,  the new lights had a remote and "smart hub" feature which somehow were  set on the same channel/frequency or something like that.

Boy was I glad there was a logical explanation because that was indeed pretty freaky.

hahaha.

I hope you can find out the cause of your light mystery soon.

@april-rosa I just had a small and far fetched idea about the number 5533. I notice I sometimes subconsciously read numbers as letters, so I was wondering if 5533 might actually mean SSEE, or 'see'. (Double S instead of capital letters perhaps?)

With the Roe/Wade scandal in mind, my immediate interpretation of the dream is that it is a message for you to pay attention (see!!) what's going on in the courts?

Very odd, but also very cool too. Perhaps a loved one saying hello from the other side?

That occurred to me. I hope you are right! I have been in the middle of some very stormy weather involving my career, and before the light started acting up that evening, I had been thinking about my late parents and wishing they were around to give me counsel.

@2ndfdl   In 2018, my new trailer burned. I had signs. One was a lamp. It didn't have a turn on switch, but it would come on when you touched it. It had three settings, It would come on by itself. I was getting light shows. I thought it was a ghost, and I unplugged it. Soon after my phone box from the cable company started smoking, and I replaced it. The next week my place burned. I was lucky to get out as it was the middle of the night. I lost three pets.  So don't be like me; 'It was just a ghost'

Thought I'd post this dream I recorded on 1/15/22

I think it is both personal and transpersonal. I think often about how we are going to evolve through the coming climate crisis.  So perhaps this dream was helping me figure out my own path, but also might be relevant to others here.

I am in a wood and I think I’m in Cambridge MA. The visions are of learning and what matters to me. It feels both old and new.

I see in front of me and slightly to the left an old tree and a stairwell that is loaded with books even though it is outdoors.  I want to go up that stairwell because it’s going to help me evolve in some way. I notice to my right another stairwell that is large and round, like a small hill and someone has put potted plants all over it so that you can’t really see steps, just these wondrous plants. I am delighted with this “stairwell.”

I head for the one with the books. I want it to be the one I walk up.  It goes up to one landing then turns up the other. End of dream.

I believe this dream is about the path I want to take.  I awoke thinking about Elizabeth Warren’s house in Cambridge, MA that my friend Ed discovered on Google Earth.

P.S. Warren appeared to me back in early 2012 when I was doing a Read the Future Night visioning session to read the U.S. Congressional and presidential election.  A woman with short blond hair filled my inner screen so I knew that whoever she was, she was going to be very important in the future. Friends suggested I was seeing Ann Romney, wife of the Republican presidential candidate,  but I knew (thankfully) she would never be someone important.

Well, Romney lost and Ann went back to her life. But Elizabeth Warren beat the Republican vacuous but handsome Scott Brown in the MA Senate election that year and Warren went on to become the most prominent Freshman senator of the day. The Republicans put millions of dollars towards dragging her down but they could not oust her. She is no longer a front runner, but she is someone whose courage, intelligence, compassion for the common person, and above all her truth, I admire and perhaps that's why the dream had a Liz Warren aura to it.

@jeanne-mayell. The dream took me straight to Britain – with the wood and the books. I felt the Bodleian library at Oxford with its staircases and many books, a place of wisdom and knowledge of many kinds. (They give fellowships of 1-6 months residence, including to independent scholars. Just saying.) And the round hill as the Glastonbury Tor with the ancient Druid knowledge.  Bringing ancient knowledge  from nature and plants somehow forward to get us through climate change. Maybe this is a personal interpretation - but I do feel the trees and the small plants too and the flowers calling for us to listen and learn from them.

Elizabeth Warren's house must be a place of great light and learning, and yours too.

I have never been to the UK, but if I ever get the chance to go, the Tor is the first place I'm headed. Such a powerful place.

@sistermoon you are not along there! The Tor is the one place I long to visit. I feel a connection even across the ocean.

@april

The Tor is pretty cool. You can see for miles at the top. Sheep roam free across the land. There is definitely a cool vibe in Glastonbury. There is a well at the bottom of the hill that people drink and bathe in because it is believed to be a fountain of youth, if I recall. I visited Glastonbury in 2018 I think.

@marigold thank you for your reply. I did get ti Oxford after college for a summer graduate program for Americans, in Shakespeare. We lived in one of the colleges and my dorm was built by Christopher Wren.  I would love to go back and see the Tor and also especially the Bodleian Library. I felt very at home there and also in London during a different summer. If we do live many lives, I am certain I lived in London and Oxford. Thank you, Marigold, for making that connection for me. Bless you.

It’s been a hard day trying to deal with @Coyote’s situation and realizing he will never come back, at least not in his body.  I have not read the Prayers thread since posting the news this morning. I will go do that now. But you just lifted me up so high with your post about that dream.  Gives me such hope.

@jeanne-mayell I am glad I trusted what came to me and posted it. The sense of Oxford especially the Bodleian was instant and strong and I have never been there.

So hard for you and others here who have known so well this brilliant, light-filled, gentle soul.

This isn't really a dream, but it came to me when I was in bed and this is one of many experiences I have had recently. Apologies if this is the wrong thread.

My main inspiration for sharing this experience really is @coyote. He shared so many of his spiritual experiences with us all (as we all have) and it would be a shame to waste not sharing this experience.

I had a fleeting experience that felt spiritual to me a couple of months ago. I was in bed relaxed watching tv minding my own business when an overwhelming feeling of clarity hit me. I say clarity because it was like a knowing and understanding that downloaded into my mind and overwhelmed me. I felt like my head had opened at the top and a great deep cosmic connectedness to the whole universe with everything contained within it and a warmth throughout my whole body. My senses were heightened and my vision was clearer and sharper and I had this overwhelming feeling with me that our lives on Earth were a serving moment and that our consciousness - our spiritual selves - continues to expand across the stars in what seems like a continuing infinite expression and expansion of consciousness. I felt that we are all one and part of something infinitely much bigger. I felt that our life on Earth was just one part of who we are and that there is an infinitely greater expansive experience that continues on in ways we can't even fully comprehend.

Anyway, that was what I felt and experienced. It has recently transformed my understanding/beliefs about God (and a lot of things actually) and this has really opened my mind in ways I could not have known from simply reading a book or any other material. I had to experience it to really open up my understanding. I don't know if my experience will resonate with anyone else, but I felt the need to share it.

@luminous What a beautiful experience you have had! Thank you so much for sharing it. It really does resonate. I have not had such a clear experience as you describe, but have had brief moments of clarity or realization similar to this. This life on earth is just one piece of our experience and we are so much more. I would love to hear more about what beliefs you have changed/expanded from this and other experiences you mention having. So interesting!

@cc21 the experience made me pull away from some of the rigid beliefs I had taken on over the years from all the religions and certain spiritual books. That isn't to say there is no truth there in them, but it would be limiting to define and categorise my experience into any of those. I can try to use an analogy though. Try to imagine that the great ultimate consciousness/God is a virtual Cloud where we store things online. Now imagine this Virtual Cloud storage is a great cosmic cloud of consciousness in the Universe that contains all memories, expressions, identities that we join when we go over to spirit, but an expression of that individuality that we call 'self' transcends and continues to express itself across the Universe. I suppose I could say we become co-creators, but I am not sure that is the right description/words. I am still trying to break down and comprehend the whole thing really. It just goes on and on infinitely expanding and expressing itself in infinite ways and we are all part of that. I haven't yet found a particular belief that shares the same understanding, but when I read about what the Tibetan Monks talk about and what the Ancient Native American Indians believe, I think there are some things there that resonate with my experience. This is something I wouldn't have explored or looked into previously.

One of the big things that has changed me is my perspective on life. That means I now see people who I usually profoundly disagree with, as someone who could be my brother or my sister or my cousin or father or mother. I don't see them as enemies like I did before. I see their flaws, but I have flaws. We are all flawed. So I try now to sympathise with them more and better understand from their perspective, but educating myself on what their perspective is. Ignorance can work both ways. The Earth is being tranformed,  denitely yes, we can all feel that, but we can't co-exist and transmute our differences if both sides box people off and leave them closed off or a lost cause. Sometimes we need to reach out and just be a good neighbour or friend to them so we can spread the light. It is about touching lives with our light. It is what we all have to do.

@luminous Thank you, again, for sharing more about your experience and your process/transformation to this point. I find it so fascinating to hear of other people's journeys and perspectives. I agree, from various things I have read about, experienced, etc. I agree that different belief systems capture truths, but no one of them has the entire picture. Maybe we are not capable of comprehending the entire picture in this form (or most of us, anyway...) I grew up in the Byzantine Catholic church and God is often referred to as "the incomprehensible." But yet we are here on this earth to learn and grow and it is indeed part of our journey to be here. I have found myself letting go of specific dogma and rigidness in recent years as well. We are all one, for sure, and all have flaws. Compassion and love are key.  I love your last thought above, "It is about touching lives with our light. It is what we all have to do." Exactly. Whatever our light may be, it is our job to grow it, nurture it, and share it as much as possible.

@cc21 thank you for kind words. The last part was from my heart. People can take or leave what I've said, but I try to lay bare in a raw and sometimes uncompromising way, my experiences. It doesn't resonate with everyone I know, especially things I have shared before, but these are the experiences as they come unfiltered.

I don't always get visions the same way other people here do, I get a lot dreams and waking visions in the early hours of the morning or when nodding off to sleep. Sometimes I share them, and sometimes I don't. I don't really care at all for having prediction hits, and whether or not what I have seen comes to pass or not. That doesn't mean I don't like wanting to know about the future and what other people are saying, because if that were true then I wouldn't be here or have asked to have a psychic reading for my own life. Heck, sometimes I just can't see certain things about the future because I haven't been shown or told anything, so I just like to know those things like everybody else.

Maybe one day when I feel brave enough, I will share more,  but this might be my last post for a while, but we will see what spirit wants me to do.

@luminous

My best thoughts have happened around 2-3 in the morning.  If I am already up or suddenly wake up around then, some incredible and often creative ideas seem to come to me.  When I would nurse my baby daughters in the early morning hours, I often felt like I was being given information that was like a creative awakening.

I had a dream last night. The Microsoft OneDrive Live website went down because it had been hacked. My dreams don't often come true, but I can definitely see this one being a real thing. Please be careful with your information online and on your computers, just in case. I didn't see any timing in my dream for this. But in the dream, I tried to access the website and it was just a blank screen.
