Thank you both. Wow the Lincoln Park zoo.

Also I don’t mean to equate the animal who is innocent of all charges with the behavior of the certain people.  I’m going with Ionesco’s  metaphor About the way they look and grunt and scoot around.

Jeanne, have you read Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders? That's one article of Lincoln-centric media that's been getting attention lately. I read it and very much enjoyed it - timely for the period we're in right now.

Hmm. I haven't read it but am interested in the idea of how it would be for Abraham Lincoln in the bardo state. I have wondered about myself in the bardo state too. I did feel in the dream that I was supposed to explore some penetrating work of art about Lincoln.

Thank you for sharing your dream.

The wonderful rhinoceros is famously short-sighted, and therefore prone to being spooked through unusual scents or sounds. In that sense, I  think it is a wonderful metaphor, perhaps for living in a  small bubble, not seeing clearly what is outside that bubble, and fearing things that are not really as they see them.

@Jeanne, my eye was also immediately drawn to the 'Soros' in 'The Rhinosoros'. It doesn't make immediate sense to me as a connection, but is that the original spelling of the play's title?

I also found the following on wikipedia: The term Rhinoceroization (התקרנפות, hitkarnefut) became colloquial in Israel for getting swayed in a nationalistic fervor, or any other general sentiment. It was originally coined by theatre critic Asher Nahor in his review of the play in 1962.

Just a few immediate, random thoughts.

Last night I had restless sleep after an explosion near our hotel.  I dreamed about souls between death and rebirth.  At 1:30 a.m. in a time zone about five or six? hours ahead of you Jeanne, I woke from a dream where I saw souls swaddled in a translucent, light-as-air gossamer fabric, waiting to be born again.  You were in my dream, too, Jeanne, and we talked about using that theme of souls in transition in a series of paintings as my next art project.  So, near the time you posted your comments about the bardo state, I was dreaming about it.  I didn’t even know until this morning  what a bardo state means.  We must be in sync.

This morning at about 5-6 am I was half asleep when I got  visual image of what I thought was the Reagan/Mondale electoral map (all states but one for Reagan), until I realized most of the states were colored blue except one in red that might have been Michigan or Ohio. Not sure it if was wishful dreaming. I hope not.

I had a very strange dream this morning about Lindsey Graham.  It was short and I don't know what to make of it.  In the dream I am lying on a bed with a young woman.  There is not a lot of light in the room, but I can see her form beside me and I see she is dressed.  I am dressed also.  All of the sudden Lindsey Graham comes in and jumps on the bed and starts taking off the young woman's shirt.  He acts like he can't see me there beside her.  He only has eyes for her and he is acting ravenously horny.  I am desperate to stop him from attacking the young woman.  I feel I must protect her. Weirdly I get the impression I am willing to sexually satisfy him by giving him a hand job.  (gross!)  The minute I suggest this to him I see an erection in my dream...but it seems disembodied or separate from Lindsey.  It sort of floats in the darkness above the bed.  He doesn't seem to hear me he only wants the young woman.  He has her top unbuttoned and he is staring at her  chest.  She seems unable to stop him or do anything...She lies helpless not even making a sound...I wake up.

I guess because Lindsey is unmarried with no children there has been speculation about his sexual orientation.  There has also been speculation that since he turned so completely pro-Trump after saying harsh criticisms about him that perhaps he has been blackmailed or promised something he wants for his cooperation and support.

This dream is so out of the blue because I haven't thought much about him or read any news about him lately.  Perhaps posting this will help me get insights into this dream.

It seems to be important so I will add that there is another detail or two.  The floating erection was encased in an extra layer of blackness so that it seemed to glow against inky blackness.  The rest of the room had that sort of darkness that you see if you wake up and there is some low level ambient light in the room, like diffuse moonlight or if a light is on in a different room with a door open or something like that.  The girl is conscious and aware but seems unable to act or move to defend herself.  Like I mentioned Lindsey never even looks at me or acts like he even knows I am there.  Perhaps he represents repubs who support Trump instead of the actual person???

I did get upset lately about the forced unnecessary vaginal exam Misssouri is requiring before an abortion can be carried out but I doubt my dream is in relation to my disgust at that law...

I was driving around town today like I usually do on Sundays, trying to do grocery shopping etc.  I mentioned before I sometimes get psychic information this way.  My mind relaxes as I drive and things just pop into my head.  I asked aloud for my angels and spirit guides to help me with the dream meaning.  I got the giggles thinking about the dream because of all the republicans Lindsey doesn't seem to be the creepiest one for me to dream about carrying out this behavior.  Some of the other ones probably would have really grossed me out much worse (McConnell--super yuck, Trump--extreme yuck, etc)  I realized another important little detail.  The floating member that was erect had no testicles....so I pondered that for a while.  Why purposely leave off the testis??  I got home and googled the word testicle and got this article that explains that ancient Romans used the word testis to also mean testify.

http://www.carmentablog.com/2014/09/26/witness-testicle-linguistic-analysis-latin-word-testis/

The lack of testis means to me that the republican men who carried out this bad behavior with women want no one to witness or testify to their bad behavior.  I was a witness in the dream but Lindsey couldn't see me.  I am representing a secret witness perhaps, unknown to the perpetrators of these crimes.  There must be one or more witnesses to these crimes but whether or not they get a chance to testify I don't know.  The lack of testicles (witnesses) is what the republicans who carried out this type of behavior want.  I feel like there is a good chance we will learn of a witness or some proof of the behavior that will show their criminality.  This may be wishful thinking on my part.

The darkness surrounding the member is obviously a comment on how this behavior is evil.  The lack of testicles could also mean a lack of real manliness...in other words real men don't act this way with women.  I know people like Trump with the emotional development of a child might think taking advantage of a woman this way is manly, but I am thinking that Spirit considers it a real show of lack of true healthy masculinity.

Goodness sakes Starpath,

I'm almost speechless over the unusual creativity of your "dream-state-driving" vision's symbolism!

But you've done a great job of analysis as far as a quick, rather furtive glance at your ahem, "subject matter" goes.

And I thought my weird dreams were unusual!

PS I have posted before that during remote viewing I picked up repeated references to terrible crimes against humanity, specifically women and children sex trafficking etc. All just as horrible to envision and terribly disturbing in every way.

Being intuitive is so much more challenging that most people would imagine or want to be able to see.

I'm grateful yours was at least in a somewhat ridiculous fashion but still very, very challenging topics in so many ways!
