Hello everyone; longtime lurker, occasional poster here. Given all the division we've been watching unfold over the past week, I thought I'd pop in and share a dream I had the night after the debate. It was one of those dreams that was lucid and felt very 'present,' which usually means I need to pay attention to them for messages & clues of divination.

I was being shown a large mechanical device - a 'chaos engine.' If anyone has ever read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, it was an inversion of the Improbability Drive. Instead of simply warping the laws of probability to make the improbable probable, the chaos engine was twisting reality around to cause as much discord & strife as possible. The implication was that this device was at the core of everything bad happening in news & politics, so that its shadowy operators could thrive in the resulting chaos.

My immediate thought was of course 'let's dismantle it.' It's just a machine, after all. The guides in my dream were very concerned about the chaos engine, but were adamant that we couldn't do anything to it directly - that trying to mess with it would make it worse, possibly even strengthen the chaos in the process.

But there was also a strong underlaying message of hope: the machine will destroy itself. As bad as things are, that type of chaos feeds on being attacked - it needs an outside source of fear & strife to keep itself going. As long as we don't keep adding fuel to it the machine & its operators will cannibalize themselves and fall apart.

For now we have to hold strong & protect ourselves from the chaos, but it is inevitable that this machine will end itself.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I've learned so much from those who post messages from the trees.

There's a 200-year-old live oak in my backyard. It's a privilege to co-exist with this magnificent being and all the life that it supports. I often gaze upon it from my kitchen window while I'm preparing coffee or cooking dinner and I love sitting under its branches.

This morning I saw a profile of Joe Biden in one of the large trunks of the tree, something I've never seen there before. The shape stood out so clearly to me, and the morning sun was shining warmly on it.

Incredibly, lumber from live oak trees was used to build the--wait for it--USS Constitution.

My takeaway from this: that Biden will be as sturdy as a mighty oak in defending our Constitution and the rising light of a new energy is shining down on him (and by extension us) as he does so. All is not lost.

@gbs Oh, I love this! Thank you so much for sharing. I got chills when you mentioned what the live oaks were used to build :) Many of us here have deep connections to trees, so this will be meaningful. I will tag a few so they see this (apologies if I forgot anyone!) @jeanne-mayell @bluebelle @deetoo @lovendures

@gbs Oh, I love your post so much and it is a wonderful reminder of the role Biden will play in preserving our democracy.  It brings me a sense of peace this morning.  I have been way too busy in the past month and need to slow down and absorb the wisdom of trees.  You are lucky to have that historic live oak.  Think of all the history that has occurred during its lifetime.

@bluebelle @cc21 The image was uncanny in its resonance. As I think more on it, I wonder if all that Biden has dealt with until now–from the tragedies of his personal life, to the pandemic, George Floyd, Ukraine, Roe, climate change, and inflation–were preparation for this moment of preserving the Constitution for our and future generations.

I wonder if Biden has been a bit unenthused at the thought of a whole new term, after doing so much in this one, but this fight has instilled new determination in him.

Spirit keeps showing us, sending us symbols each tuned to our individual nuances. When I read your post I thought of the vision I had in Circle meditation when @jeanne-mayell suddenly said we were near a tree and my Edmonds, Washington beach (favorite place) suddenly had a huge OAK log with a myriad of shoots/saplings emerging from it with George Washington sitting beside me on that old and very sturdy OAK log. I have always felt Joe Biden would not only vibrantly stride to the podium for a second Inaugural Address, complete with that marvelous grin of his amid the serious words, but also that the second four years would be powerful, healthy, ever-stronger years for him. I am happy that I have never seen him frail—tired maybe, even ill as any person can be from time to time, but never frail. (The debate was an attack of deliberate poor lighting at best and a nefarious messing with his water at worst) Joe Biden will not only be re-elected, I believe he continue to live a strong, steady, wonderful life AFTER he finishes this second term. Like President Carter he will live to a great age. Most importantly, he, like George Washington, will not only put back in place but also codify the PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER in a way no branch of government can ever again attempt to dismantle.

George Washington sitting next to me in a meditation was a huge surprise. I would never have "thought" him there. Like your tree image of Biden, unexpected in a normal place, my vision remains powerful not only in my mind, but in my faith regarding the coming election. Your Tree Biden simply adds to that faith. Thank you!

I'm not sure where to post this, but since it is a prediction of the future I decided here would be good.

I had woken up and didn’t feel like getting up so I laid there for a while enjoying the comfort of my bed. Suddenly I felt myself separate from my physical body. Next thing I knew I was on a promenade next to a body of water. The sun was out, people were walking, experiencing the day. The promenade appeared tiered, possibly to adjust to different water heights or serve as a barrier. I noticed these strange street lights lining the walkway that were curved over. Seemed to me they were designed in a way to capture sunlight (that they were solar powered). Before I could check out the rest of my surroundings, I noticed flying craft in the sky (above the water). It came to me they are flying cars. Most of the time there were multiples following each other in a straight line. From a distance you couldn’t see any details. If I was to say anything, they seemed more like flying buses than cars. I remember as a young child how the details escaped me when I looked at those single engine propeller planes in the sky that carry 2 or 4 people. They looked like flying crosses to me back then. I became fixed on the flying cars and never looked around to see if I could figure out where I was. I could feel the presence of someone who I assumed took me here. I thanked them and a second later I was back I my bed.

This past week I was watching the DNC being held in Chicago and they showed a picture from the lake Michigan shoreline. I recognized it from my dream experience. It was very similar although not exactly like what I saw. It seemed pretty accurate as to what it would might look like 50 or 100 years from now.
