Well once again my Senator, Moscow Mitch the turtle man, proves what an evil git he really is.  I have decided to stay away from any involment in politics.  It is a dirty game and rigged.  There is no more GOP, they are now the QTP.  I hopeno one underestimates how powerful they really are.  the orange monster will always find someway to get money from someone and he will continue to hold his rallys and incite violence because there is noway to stop him.  Convicting him of tax fraud is not justice, he has been cheating on his taxes for his whole adult life.  

Don't get me wrong I still light my white candles and pray for the true leaders of our nation.  But the evil orange one isn't done by a long shot.  Lyndsey and his other Putin loving Congressmen will delay approving the AG as long as they can because they know once the investigations start they  are going to be investigated, but like the evil orange one they won't be touched.  Thus is the power of Moscow Mitch.

@yogagirl. I know you are broken-hearted about how this went down. I see an angel taking you on her lap, wrapping you in her arms, and rocking you to calm and protect you and give you peace.   The GOP is a dying party that reinforces White racists and greedy corporations who are fading out.  Hang in there and focus on the hero's rather than the demons. It is going to be okay. The direction is of light.

@yogagirl I completely relate to how you feel but the words that come to mind when I look at US politics aren't fit to print.

And gratitude to @jeanne-mayell and all those who know just what to say and when to say it.

I know how you are feeling. This whole thing has been really hard on us all and the fact that you have to put up with the way they are dolling out the vaccine in KY and that you have this evil turtle in KY is so deflating. I couldn't watch most of the trial, not just because I worked during it but it also made me sick hearing the GOP and Moscow Mitch lie lie and lie. This week/timeframe is always hard for me personally too (anniversary of my mother's death, buried her on Valentine's day too, then lost a close friend on the 17th). So for me, I wanted to throw something to my new TV when I heard him make that speech where he spoke out of both sides of his mouth.

The only thing is, I then read Jeanne asking an angel to wrap you in her arms to give you peace. Just when that happened I noticed I got the chills and I feel like my mom touched me on the shoulder and I still have the chills. I feel like we are both being cared for by her and the angels. I am also hearing her tell me to "wait and see". Funny she always used to say that when I thought hope was lost but it really wasn't. I feel weepy and hopeful all at the same time. Going to take a long hot bath today and picture the angels descending upon our nation. Bless you Yogagirl and everyone here. ?

History will find Trump Guilty -- yesterday in The New Yorker.  And I think it will be more than history that finds him guilty in the coming year.

PART ONE: Typical Libra seeking balance I see why it was done the way it is done... the information got out there... the clips and speeches by the House managers seared in our minds... a concise, compelling composite of what really went on.... .and.. just how close it really really was.

The House managers made the decision in the best interest of the American people who are desperate for aid to survive this Pandemic. Had they not closed it would have delayed by months getting the Relief Package through as I understand it.. for.. they can not move on other business during and Impeachment. Getting the vaccines rolled out and given, getting real time financial aid to families struggling through this... is what is urgently needed now.

Those that were paying attention? Will not forget what they saw. Those that were there? Won't forget what it felt like. For those that participated? They are facing very serious charges, prosecution,jail time, fines, lawyers fees.

The Impeachment did not take place in a vacuum - much like a stone tossed in a pond - those actions caused ripples that spread out to the farthest edges of the world and just like those pond ripples those ripples are even now coming back to the point of origin. The case was laid out and clear....as clear as the finest tones of every bell for freedom ever rung.

Yes... I was very sad, very angry at the verdict that I knew was coming anyway. TBS? I am very proud of the evidence and clarity and Truth shown to us , to the world during this trial. Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address is ringing in my ears today.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

And so, I wept, I grieved last night. Today? I rose and took my steps to tend the things I care about and to resolve to continue to do all that I can. My small part for sure... but each drop of rain falls, runs, gathers and becomes a torrent and has much power.  We all? are doing our parts. We all? gather and flow and are becoming a torrent...and... we .....have... much... power.

Love, hugs and holding space for us all on this day we celebrate Love, it all it's many splendid forms.
