I am not sure how exactly, or why, but I do not feel like they are just going to acquit him in the senate. Which I know makes no sense. My brain says they will. I get a feeling something is coming out very soon that is damning to T that involves money and it derails him even more. Money is his God. I wonder Allyn, IF some of the GOP senators were to not show up to the trial would they be able to convict with a certain majority?
I can't explain exactly why yet, but I do not see him getting off scott free again. ?
@allyn I've had a vision that I have posted here before but worded poorly and messy. I've been a bit beside myself this last year and I've had problems articulating myself. Trying again since I share your frustration.
Just like you, I was aking myself if this would ever end, if the trolls and bigots would ever pay for what they have been doing the last years. What I saw in my vision back then (3 years ago now) was that they would feel more and more emboldened, and that the election would have many attempts at fraud from their side. They would maybe attempt some sort of coup (poorly executed). When all that would fail they would get busy distancing themselves from T, as more and more horrible details of his misdeeds would surface. If the rest of my vision was right we'll see a steady flow of damning evidence of just how corrupt things have been the last years. Many will say "we didn't know" and try to wash their hands of guilt. I see one big event where they will get the chance to get on board again, but only by being open about their own corruption. Will they pay for it? Yes, but not in the way we expect. I didn't see the courts settling this. Something bigger.

That's one reason IMO why Biden is the right man at the right time. He knows how things were when he left as VP 4 years ago. He knows all the people who know all the details. He can put people in place who can see what is amiss right when they settle into their jobs. No one else could put together an administration as capable at noticing the dirt and digging it up. I am not good at "visioning" but I see this is the way it is and had to be for right to prevail.
As far as "payment"-- your statement is intriguing. Do you have an ideas how the "payment" will come about? One thing that comes to my mind is revenge by larger criminal elements for whom they were working. (Or maybe I've seen too many gangster movies lately...)

@ana I didn't see any details, just sensed a feeling of the events. I tried to find an analogy. Maybe try to imagine that we as a society is the Titanic and T and his minions have been trying to gain control over the ship for the last 4 years. They think they lost and they'll just go back to being first class passengers until the next opportunity for mutiny arises. But we'll hit an ice berg soon. The minions will promptly seize all the life boats for themselves. Their corruption and selfishness will be blatant and they won't even try to to hide or excuse it. When they are all in the life boats and pretty happy with themselves they'll realize the Titanic was fine the whole time. The rest of us sails on while they are left in the freezing Atlantic in open boats.
I hope that analogy makes sense. The main point I'm trying to make is that in my vision their punishment will be so damning and so severe that no court or outside person can decide it for them. Their ego and corrupt nature will choose their own fate for them.
Reading your post Lindsay Graham comes to mind. I never liked his politics, but I always thought he had some semblance of decency until he went completely off the deep end and became T.'s lapdog.
There is so much that so many are desperate to keep hidden.
@ana One more thing. By "somethig bigger" I meant something that will affect more people than politicians close to T. Like many people have pointed out there is a problem in this world that is not limited to T and the gop. The world is full of opportunists with short sighted goals and little regard for the suffering of others. You can have a trial for T but others will come and the cycle will continue and little change. There needs to be a bigger cleanup, and that is what I saw coming. Unfortunately I didn't see a timeframe. I didn't have any idea if it would happen tomorrow or in 100 years. The events this latest months have me thinking it will be soon though. Anyone else feel something coming towards the end of february?
@unkp, I deleted your post because it was too graphic for many readers, including me. Like you, when many empathic people get an image of that kind of violence in their minds, they can't erase it, and the horror is too much. They suffer a form of PTSDT just from watching.
Although I removed the post, I want to tell you how much I feel for you and anyone who takes in the horror of the Capitol Riot. So it is good you brought it up. If we are so disturbed by watching a video of that kind of rapid mob violence, imagine what it must have been like to be there. PDST lasts years and destroys lives.
Donald Trump has fomented mob frenzy, and that is an act of treachery we all need to appreciate. The perpetrators must be held accountable. These events must be stopped. So thank you for bringing it up, dear friend.
The wingnuts, unfortunately, were never going to disappear because T. lost. They've always been around, T. just gave them a louder voice and more visible face than they've had in years. Scarily, they've infiltrated high positions in govt., which was also always the case. They're just more brazen about it these days.
It's going to take a constant spotlight on the words and actions of people like MTG to eradicate it. This adorable little experiment in fascism we've just been through is over, but it isn't. As we've seen, and as you say, T. has plenty of ignorant minions happy to carry out his agenda.
I have a cake plate sitting in my kitchen that needs washing. The cake is gone, but the dried frosting and dried crumbs remain. It will take some scrubbing to come clean, but with the proper effort, it will. Eradicating societal problems will take a lifetime or more longer, and millions of decent people, but it's worth the effort.
Speaking of crumbs, the tidbits of wrongdoing that have come out in the media the last four years are nothing compared to what's coming. I've felt that for a long time. BS headlines like the NYT "Investigating DT, FBI sees no clear link to Russia." That was downright laughable.
I have a feeling that Lindsey Graham is going to talk himself into a situation that he won't be able to escape from.
This week, he is threatening Democrats against calling witnesses by saying "if you call witnesses, then I will call the FBI as witnesses."
Maybe Graham is stupid beyond belief (likely) or a Democratic spy (if only), but why in the world would anyone care if he calls the FBI as witnesses or not. We KNOW there was an intelligence breakdown on January 6 where threats to the capitol either didn't get delivered to the right people or were not taken seriously enough. We know that there will likely be congressional hearings about the security breakdown at the capitol.
So, how exactly is that suppose to hurt Democrats? Especially considering that Republicans have been in control of the White House and the leadership of the FBI and other intelligence offices for the last few years? Does Graham think that by calling the FBI, this will somehow help Trump?
Maybe it is a distraction tactic? Bring up the fact that one FBI agent plead guilty to falsifying evidence on a warrant during the investigation of Russian involvement in our election on 2016? But it isn't relevant to Trump's actions on January 6, so who cares?
Personally, I think Graham should be disqualified from being involved in the trial. After all, he also made various calls to voting officials in Arizona and Georgia (even though he doesn't represent either state), so he is basically a co-conspirator with Trump.
Also, would someone do another reading on the trial now that we know Trump's defense (basically claiming voter fraud again)? I am curious as to whether the country will make Republicans pay for betraying their country for this crazed egomaniac with daddy issues.
Graham is petrified. Question is of who or what.
