@allyn When I first started exploring my intuitive abilities, the only intuitive gift I recognized was the fact that some of my dreams were premonitions and they came true. After participating in a read the future night with Jeanne six or seven years ago, I was stunned to have predictions come true. Then Jeanne’s Intuitive Way courses helped me learn techniques to tap into my intuitive abilities. Now you can explore your gift or not, but like all of us, you do have intuition. We may not always recognize that intuition is part of our daily lives, but that inner knowing does guide us in decision making, in avoiding danger, in reading people and situations.
Frankly, I’m pretty blown away by your dream and it resonates with me. It strikes a chord about my own intuition regarding how the abortion ban will play out. My sense is that the media will cover every case of a woman or child who dies as a result of this horrendous Supreme Court decision. And make no mistake, dear souls will die. We all know it. The GOP will not be able to hide the deaths and people will be furious at the Court and at Republicans. I hope it doesn’t lead to violence. Our country is at such a volatile point that anything could set things off. I hope it doesn’t come to that.
I’m very sorry about the girl with blue/grey eyes, Allyn and I know this is already haunting you. Situations like hers will turn the population against the Republican Party, but what consolation is that when an innocent has died? Maybe she is not a real girl, but a metaphor for others like her and then we will grieve for them.
Thank you for your reply. I have been literally haunted by the images I saw last night. Children dying, people getting attacked, violence and hatred rampant, and worst, regular people becoming a mindless mob.
Don't get me wrong. I think Republicans like Trump, McConnell, Cruz, and Greene (not to mention their mouthpieces at Fox New and Alex Jones) could stand to have their peace of mind shaken a bit. But do we really want to become THEM?! Mindless monsters who terrorize and kill at random.
It haunts me. But the image of that girl, whoever she is (or even if she is just a symbol of the victims that will suffer now) also makes my blood boil. She seemed so real! I held her hand as I watched her flatline. It was swollen and hot, as thought she was feverish. When she screamed about how she didn't want to be pregnant and carry her brother, her face was so red and puffy from crying that her eyes really resonated with me.
What is worse? Letting these children and women die? Or lose ourselves in trying to save them?
I am hoping that Democrats are able to win some races for the midterms. I truly hope that Democrats and Independents hit the polls this fall, economy be ("censored")! We need to recognize the threat and handle it NOW, before it becomes a mob free-for-all. A strong response against Republicans will send a signal to them that they need to stop feeding red meat to their base for the purpose of "owning the libs." Because if my dream comes to pass, the "libs" will see them as a clear and present threat. If a child dies as a result of rape, what parent would not be angry? If one doesn't get angry over the abuse and then systematic murder of children in the name of being "pro-life," then what possible reason is there to ever get angry again.
Best case scenario, I hope Republicans fail to regain Congress, and possibly even lose some of their seats. This outcome, more than anything, will send a message that Republican sabotage of government (as they do when they refuse to pass bills to help the country) and placating their base will cost them, as the American majority knows that they are the problem and no amount of grandstanding or "owning the libs" is going to save them.
I wish we had a time table. Ever since 2015, it seems as though we are trying to push a boulder up a hill and not getting anywhere. Our rights are taken away, people being bullied and threatened on a constant basis, "news" pundits like Tucker Carlson and ("censored") like Alex Jones who stirs people to violence and continues to pour gas on the fire without any consequences to themselves, and Republicans continuing to commit treason against our country and slowly turn us into another Russia or, God forbid, a Taliban-like government where systematic abuses against the majority of the population living here is tolerated, promoted, and even encouraged. I am tired. It seems that things will get much, much worse before they get better. But for how long? A few years? A decade? A century? How long must we keep fighting the right way before our patience finally gives way to chaos and dispair?
Small wonder that we are angry. But I want to be a "good" angry. Not like them. I want to go to the ballot box, vote them out, and then pass laws to fix the damage they did. I don't want to get to the point that I no longer think of them as human but as an enemy that must be destroyed at all costs, which is exactly what my dream seems to suggest. That the populous reached a breaking point and resorted to violence and threats to push Republicans out. Small wonder we are getting to that point. So I will pray and send as much light as I can that "good" anger will win out and that we take control back before it gets to that point.
We can't vote if we are thrown off the voter rolls. There are continued reports of more and more people are finding out they have been purged even though they have been active voters.
Assume nothing! Check and check again.
I think your dream carries a lot of weight, but I will say the dark haired man getting beaten to death by women- that was the last scene of one of the last episodes of the last season of Handmaid's Tale. (Season 4 in September!!) You may have just stored it away if you watch the show or just picked up on the zeitgeist of it - a touch of synchronicity. Valid in any case.
I think what you are also picking up on is that (unfortunately) for things to change there are going to have to be literal sacrifices. Sounds like the girl in your dream is a prime example - someone who was raped by her father, dies, and the dissenters use her as a martyr.
A martyr is a kind of archetype- and your dream has provided an excellent one. Anxiety on your part? Sure, but this vivid to me means some of it will come to pass, if not all.
You should re-post this dream in the dream/visions thread so we can keep an eye on it.
@lynnventura I agree that all these decisions feel very coordinated and my suspicion is that Ginni has been a conduit with radical right wing groups. The red states’ decisions to outlaw abortions before and after the Court overturned Roe v. Wade also seem to be very well synchronized. Major donors of the GOP like gas and coal companies must also be pleased with the Court’s decision to strip power from the E.P.A. I understand the Court will next take up the role of states in determining elections and that absolutely sets my hair on fire. The decisions by this Court are so radically regressive and punitive, it shocks me to the core. The Court must be restructured. The Justices must follow a strict code of ethics, with defined consequences when they do not. Term limits should also be instated.
And AGE limits too, in every branch.
🤣
Allyn, your dream, while horrible, was very interesting to me, because yesterday I was perusing the news for my daily dose of anger and stress, and saw where some a-hole rethug was asked about exceptions for rape and incest, and what if it was a twelve-year-old girl who had been raped and impregnated by her own father, and he said he would make no exceptions because all life is precious.
I skimmed the article; I didn't read it in its entirety because just the headline made me apoplectic, but this is the degree of utter deranged psychotic sickness with these people.
I tried to copy/paste a post from Heather Cox Richardson but it "didn't take."
To paraphrase she says the court has gone rogue and we must expand the court while we still can. It is the most important thing we MUST do.
*I think this is the "other shoe" that I've been feeling will drop. The North Carolina case they want to hear that gives state legislatures the authority to overide elections and even state constitutions is unbelievable.
@allyn I just saw this story about a 10 year old girl in Ohio having to travel to Indiana for an abortion due to the 6 week ban in Ohio...just heartbreaking...I thought of your post when I read it...hopefully I linked it in correctly with a title...
@michellepazicni That story is equal parts heart-breaking and gut wrenching and just so damn wrong.
I'm not as familiar with politics in the States because I'm in Canada but what I keep getting as a message today is for those who don't normally think of themselves as able to be politicians, should run.
Easy for me to say from up here in the North! It keeps repeating though. Please run in politics it's saying over and over. I'm not sure who this is for and sorry to barge in here on this thread. Please run if you are able to and want to. It also said dual citizenship but I don't have that so I'm not sure what that was about.
