@lawrence

I liked that post about the dream you had and "from your lips to God's ears" as they say. The latest craziness from T is actually making my hair stand up on my neck.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!  Wishing you many happy years! ? ?

@triciaCT thanks so much.

T is devolving both politically and in health, which he has no control over. The rug has been pulled out from under his feet fully for the first time. Something dramatic coming in November. He's freaking out.

@lovendures

I just read your meditation description and almost fell off my chair at how similar you are to me in that regard LOL. The description of how you are and how you try to meditate was so spot on. I have been a little ADD too my whole life. When i was a kid in school i had trouble studying but seemed to always get decent grades (Thank God). But my mind was always going somewhere else and distracted UNLESS I really loved a subject.

I'm a Pisces who is a bit of a dreamer and at the same time a constant thinker and analyzer. I tend not to sleep well many nights because I can't shut my darn brain off.  I've always tried not to be a worrier too because that's another part of my brain I can't shut off and this whole orange nightmare has made it all worse (especially trying to sleep).  I know better, but I feel like I'm always learning and striving to get more centered. This site and community has been a godsend.

I've had flashes of psychic moments but can't seem to turn on the answers unless it's for someone I have no emotional connection to. My emotions get in the way of what I want to see when it's too close to me or something I'm too invested in.

Baby steps seems to be all my 59 yr old body can accomplish these days anyway LOL.

Trump is now making references to a civil war if he is impeached.  Fortunately no one here who has a track record has posted seeing a civil war in the future.

I have however, since 2016, been concerned, not seeing it, but concerned,  that Trump might consider the idea of fomenting a false flag  event if he becomes threatened.  That way he could declare martial law and stop elections.  But I've always seen it as one of his back pocket weapons.  But I have never seen it actually happen. And I don't see it happening now.  We will be doing another Read the Future night November 11, so we shall see what comes up.

I did read that Nancy Pelosi has been concerned all along that he would foment something violent among his base if impeached.  This weekend's  civil war tweet itself is grounds for impeachment and I just noticed a Harvard Law professor who agrees.

On a related note, I am especially grateful that we are ad-free after reading TriciaCT's post  that she got disturbing Trump ads when she watched a youtube video. You will never see anything like that here. Thank you again for those donations.

Well it’s getting worse for him. Now they are saying this

President Trump pushed the Australian prime minister during a recent telephone call to help Attorney General William P. Barr gather information for a Justice Department inquiry that Mr. Trump hopes will discredit the Mueller investigation, according to two American officials with knowledge of the call.

The White House restricted access to the call’s transcript to a small group of the president’s aides, one of the officials said, an unusual decision that is similar to the handling of a July call with the Ukrainian president that is at the heart of House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump. Like that call, the discussion with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia shows the extent to which Mr. Trump sees the attorney general as a critical partner in his goal to show that the Mueller investigation had corrupt and partisan origins, and the extent that Mr. Trump sees the Justice Department inquiry as a potential way to gain leverage over America’s closest allies.

And like the call with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, the discussion with Mr. Morrison shows the president using high-level diplomacy to advance his personal political interests.

President Trump initiated the discussion in recent weeks with Mr. Morrison explicitly for the purpose of requesting Australia’s help in the Justice Department review of the Russia investigation, according to the two people with knowledge of the discussion. Mr. Barr requested that Mr. Trump speak to Mr. Morrison, one of the people said. It came only weeks after Mr. Trump seemed to make military aid to Ukraine contingent on Mr. Zelensky doing him the “favor” of helping Mr. Barr with his work

In making the request, Mr. Trump was in effect asking the Australian government to investigate itself. The F.B.I.’s counterintelligence investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election began after Australian officials told the bureau that the Russian government had made overtures to the Trump campaign about releasing political damaging information about Hillary.

Barr--Just like John Mitchell, Richard Nixon's A.G. who was prosecuted and given prison time for his involvement in Watergate. If it weren't for Moscow Mitch, these people would be prosecuted. Hoping for blue majority in both houses of Congress next year. (Although if public opposition to Trumps overwhelmingly threatens the Republican Party, perhaps it will go differently.)

Carl Bernstein on CNN (the man who scooped the Nixon Watergate scandal), spoke about the crisis.  The interview is entitled, ironically, given the title of our thread, "Trump is unraveling in wake of whistleblower complaint."  For anyone who doubts the power of the whistleblower complaint, Bernstein points out that it is a thorough well documented, researched, fact-checked, report of Trump's corruption.

Things really are moving quickly now. Every day when I wake up, I wonder what strange things have happened while I was sleeping!

I checked the Australian news to see what their reaction is to their prime minister being dragged into this situation and found a couple of articles, one of which they mention the impeachment spiraling and one which ends with them saying that they don’t have to legally provide anything to the US if they don’t want to.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-10-01/donald-trump-call-puts-australia-in-the-midst-of-scandal/11563380

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-10-01/donald-trump-scott-morrison-impeachment-what-you-need-to-know/11563098

I think they try to stay on good terms with the US but are also fiercely independent. They do not like bullies. Also, the person who was involved on the Australian side that Papadopulous was blabbing to while drinking is generally well regarded and has a long record in public service. I would be seriously surprised if anything came of that.

The more disturbing thing is that they are going around to different countries and trying to dig up dirt as a distraction. I would not have guessed that this is the attorney general’s job. I also saw that Sebastian Gorka is traveling with Pompeo which sounds more than strange since he does not even work for the government:  https://mobile.twitter.com/JoshNBCNews/status/1178815911349964801

I threw some cards a few minutes ago since I was wondering what is up and will post what I got in a bit.

I feel that a lot of the great readers on this site have seen this orange nightmare's downfall and the timing of when the ball would start rolling.  The NYT has an article today entitled: "Trump Pressed Australian Leader to Help Barr Investigate Mueller Inquiry's Origins".  I responded with this in the comments section:

"Wow talk about cleaning house. It seems not only will Trump take down Barr, but also Mike Pompeo and Giuliani too. Gives new meaning to a foursome for this ever golfing POTUS.  Great, I think that unless the GOP can resurrect Abraham Lincoln, this cements the democrats for 2020."

(For a long time my husband has said that if we just gave DJT enough rope he'd hang himself.)

So just a brief tarot reading with Rider Waite cards:

My question was, where does this person stand after the current inquiry is over?

For T, I drew the Eight of Wands reversed - hysterical, impulsive and panicking

For Barr, I drew the Nine of Swords - sadness, disappointment, despair

For Pompeo, I drew the Queen of Swords - ambition, in this case, maybe an older woman controls his fate?

For Pelosi, I drew the Ace of Swords - cutting through the situation to get to the heart of the matter

and for Schiff, I drew the Strength card - balance, strength, courage and endurance

If anyone has a different take on this, I am happy to hear it.

Someone mentioned on MSNBS last night that Pompeo (who's from Kansas) is the second most ambitious politician in Kansas.  The first is his wife.

After this is over, not only will we need to do a meditation and spiritual cleanse of the WH, but let's also include the DOJ, State Dept and Congress ...  oh hell, let's include all of the government agencies!  This thing has major tentacles, and is leading to who knows where.

@baba, anything on Pence?  I know that he's tied up with this too.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments.  I am having a very busy week so won't be around much but will try to respond.

I continue to feel that what we are seeing with Twitler & Co is the tip of the iceberg.  I think what's going to come out will leave much of America stunned.

Jeanne, I owe you an overdue donation and will take care of that today or tomorrow. :)

PS. NY Times is running an article entitled, "Me and my Whistleblower," about the son of a deceased Deutsche bank employee.  Apparently, this gentleman has hundreds of secret documents about Twitler that he has turned over to House Intel! He has been secretly cooperating for months.

Jeanne, I haven't forgotten that one is asked to contribute to the site - it's just that I haven't had a red cent. I will donate asap.

My question is, what will happen if these people defy subpoenas? I know it's different when one interferes with an impeachment investigation - but how will we get these people to be forthcoming?
