@BlueBelle

Hi there, lovely! It warms my heart to see your post. ...It was wild to look up and realize how many months had passed, but I've missed the warmth and intelligence of this community—no doubt.

I really look forward to reading the results of your meditation and channeling.

@lawrence

And the way he's wandered off, multiple times.  He had no clue where he was or where he was going.  The repugs are going to have to do one hell of a cover-up to hide his increasing dementia, but they are good at those.

@deetoo thank you!  I want you to know I am not the only anti-Mitch Kentuckian our numbers are growing.  The power Mitch is so proud of I hopewill be his downfall.  The programs he wants to distroy, SS Medicare and Food stamp are the programs which a large number of his Eastern Ky constituates depend on.  The only problem is I'm not sure they will vote for a women.  That was the problem in 2016.  A lot of these people are of the "women belong at home with the kids" religious right.  However when they are faced with losing basic needs they may change their minds.  More and more hospitals and medical clinics in Eastern Ky are closing due to the present Govenor and his pro Moron stance.  These people have literaly nothing.  @VestraLux welcome back.  No I haven't listened to the NPR podcast but I will now!  I am a few years younger than Mitch but I have a cousin who was at U ofL when he attended.  He was not at all popular in fact most of his class mates were surprised he got elected to anything.  The only thing he had going for him was his ability to smuz.  His mentor was a stanch Republican senator who had a stellar reputation.  I'm wonder what he would think of the monster Mitch has become.

I found something alarming in the news this AM. Moron wants to have Antifa declared a domestic terrerist  group!  My understanding is the this is a loosely inked collection of groups who are anti-facist and counter protest the alt-right.  Alt-right groups have been responsible for 73% of the 425 extremist ,murders from 2009-2018.  the Antifas groups hit one alt-right news man on the head which infuriated Moron.  After the protest in Moscow yesterday and the way they were beaten by the Putin law enforcement, it is alarming to me.  Moron is an all out facist and would love nothing better than to have  anyone who doesn't agree with him punished.  I wonder about the Black Hawk helicopter "manuvers" taking place around DC last week.  As unhinged as Moron is I wouldn'tbe surprised if he ordered the military to attack protesters.  I used to think that our military was better than that, but after seeing the pic of Moron at bases surrounded with soldiers wearing MAGA hats (which is against military regulations)I begin to wonder.

We are lliving in scary times my friends.  Keep the light going in our hearts.

This is from the Baltimore Sun yesterday..." we would tell the most dishonest man to ever occupy the Oval Office, the mocker of war heroes, the gleeful grabber of women’s private parts, the serial bankrupter of businesses, the useful idiot of Vladimir Putin and the guy who insisted there are “good people” among murderous neo-Nazis that he’s still not fooling most Americans into believing he’s even slightly competent in his current post. Or that he possesses a scintilla of integrity. Better to have some vermin living in your neighborhood than to be one."

That's gonna leave a mark!  Just tell Grandma you fell off the swing, ok Donnie?

Vestralux, I tried my little experiment today.  First I read your original post, then meditated.  After meditation, I started writing whatever came to mind concerning each of your paragraphs.  Sometimes I didn't get anything further on your topic, but wrote what came to me.  Very interesting.

Trump- Now through 2020

  • Not only are family and close aides becoming alarmed at T’s increasingly erratic behavior, every single one of these people have money to lose if T’s condition is exposed.  In one way or another, these people all have their financial futures leveraged through their connection to T and the influence they can wield with the Republican Party and donors.  Everyone is trying desperately to keep this house of cards from falling.

  • It feels a bit melodramatic, but the message I’m getting is that Hitler himself is connected to T.  The rise of white nationalism so closely mirrors Hitler’s dream, that he is of course interested in trying to influence the man..  H sees this  as a vindication of Germany’s white supremacy and is delighted that this hard line right wing philosophy is spreading across the world.  It’s H’s legacy.  He prompts Trump to say the most directly racist speeches and to openly admit to being a nationalist.  Even the words the president uses are phrases and propaganda that come directly from Hitler’s speeches:  “infestation,” for example, or dehumanizing terms like “vermin.”  There are dark forces at work.

  • In the next few months, T goes quiet.  Only a physical situation could shut down his mouth and his twitter finger.  When it’s too quiet at the White House or the tweets use more sophisticated language than T normally uses, that’s when you will know it has happened.  It’s a cardiovascular event.  He is scared.  Some kind of surgery is required.

  • Thus begins the most serious time of upheaval in the country.  Fox News will try to spin a web of propaganda, but it only works with the cult.  The rest of the country becomes more concerned about instability in Washington.  There are some kind of external threats that cause unease. Plus, the facade of  an unbreakable bull market is being chipped away.  Manufacturing is down.  Other indicators make the coming correction/market downturn look more imminent.  The majority of the public will rightly surmise that there is weak leadership or no leadership at the helm.  This is when the Koch brothers start to pressure Republicans.  Make no mistake, the Republicans begin to turn against the president, but only because of     the threat of losing funding.  It doesn’t work for the oligarchs to operate  in an unstable economy.  It affects their bottom line, too.

  • There will be several shocking videos and tape recordings leaked to the public that will continue to erode support for Trump from educated white women.

  • T has been itching to catch the mainstream media in a mistake and have them prosecuted and thrown in jail.  He wants to be like Putin.  He wants ironclad control over the media.  It’s not going to work for T, though, and  the attacked reporter/reporters will emerge as heroes, much like the members of the FBI who have had their careers ruined by T and his conspiracy theorists.  Each of these vilified people will end up recognized as heroes.

  • The year 2020 will be an ugly one with  people on both sides questioning the security of our election system.  There will be a lot of reporting state by state of the security of these election procedures.  States will the most vulnerable systems will be exposed.  It’s at once reassuring to know that problems are being identified, but at the same time, it causes uncertainty about the entire election process.

  • Mitch McConnell aka Moscow Mitch is going to come under increased scrutiny after he blocked legislation to protect the election process.  His Russian ties will become exposed.  Irrefutable evidence will come tumbling out.  There will be a whistleblower from inside his camp.

  • The election will be a joyful time for the Democrats, but controversy will swirl for months until the inauguration.  The cult followers will not accept the results due to Fox News, et al.

Deep down the country is sick of T and wants him gone.  It will take time to recover what we have lost as a country.  It will take time to rebuild institutions.  It will take time to write laws to safeguard our democracy from wannabe authoritarians.  The US comes close to the brink, but it does not fall.

@unk-p, thanks for sharing that! It was music to my ears.  I grew up in Baltimore City and it holds a special place in my heart.  For all of its problems, Baltimoreans don't take kindly to someone dissing their city -- and especially from that orange clown.

Forgive my language, but if Hitler is influencing Trump from the other side, that means we cannot get rid of assholes even on the other side?

I can’t handle them on this side.

I haven't visited the afterlife, but people seem to believe there are different levels, and when you first arrive, if you're someone like Adolph, you're at kind of a low level and there are things you have to do to get to the next one.

The man has been dead for 74 years - don't you think he's cleaned up his act even a little bit by now?

@suspira44

I understand we have free will on Earth. I don't like it, and it wouldn't have been my plan.

But when you're on the other side, is there any other protection of evil spirits like Hitler? I don't understand how he would be allowed to do this to those living...

Thank you Bluebelle. Even if trump left tomorrow we'd still need to spend years rebuilding. That he's only going to be around for another year and half (I hope!!) is heartening.  Also, no matter who the person is, there's always rebuilding after a republican administration. They're good at tearing things down.

Jeanne had a prediction, I think back in 2017, of Trump fading away in 2019. The cardiac event may be it.
