Yes, that is it! Thank you. Mark Zaid, and the other attorneys on the team, apparently are the best in their field in representing intelligence professionals in D.C. Mark also said there is no limit to the number of whistleblowers they can represent. He endorsed this GoFundMe account as legitimate. I hear you on taking a nap.  I think I've been depressed for the last two years and because of Trump.

he is destroying our democracy and what he has done so far, he's gotten away with.  anyone else would have been impeached in a heartbeat.

The only reason he's been untouchable, is because he is Trump.  He has a speciality, lie, deny, deflect, and tell a BS story.  what is really keeping him in the WH?  because he has enablers and WH aids that have and are still helping cover his tracks.  it's really disturbing.

what we need to ensure that he is impeached are solid evidence and solid witnesses that can't be shred apart with 'whataboutism' BS rhetoric

There is a second witness waiting or waffling in the wings on whether he should come forward or not.

people are really scared and fear for their lives.  Trump is dangerous

If there are no more witnesses or the number #2 possible witness decides not to come forward, then I think we're screwed.

it's them against us.  it's 50/50 chance of Trump staying in office

I do sincerely think that many of you here are very gifted with past predictions, I certainly have hope that you folks are right with Trump being ousted.

I don't care if he is impeached or loses the election in 2020.  I have always felt he would be a one term President.  my clue was a vision of Jimmy Carter during one of my meditations.

keeping my fingers crossed.  MayberryStars

Night before last, I dreamt Trump was a Betta fish being abruptly transferred away in a small plastic container (like a flat pencil box?!) from his fish tank along with one goldfish, then two other goldfish.  I commented to those around me that it was now very likely the fish would soon begin killing one another in reaction to being singled out and so closely confined.  In moments, the Trump/Betta had become drained of his blue color and was noticeably weakening (although I was aware his bite could still be razor-sharp).  Trump/Betta began showing off by pretending he was steering a ship, looking just as he did when he got in the driver's seat of a Mack 18-wheeler parked on the WH front lawn, doing his blustery version of emulating a truck driver by pumping his fists, scrunching up his face to appear "tough," baring his teeth, and tooting the big rig's horn (in my dream seeing a very small fish doing such a charade was perfectly plausible!).  Then, very quickly, it was clear the four fish were receiving no oxygen and they began fiercely banging their heads against the walls of the box to break free, only to end up thrashing in a small puddle on the floor and gasping their dying breaths.  One of the fish had to be Guiliani, another was likely pompous Pompeo?!  While still in the dream, I sensed how very, very small Trump/Betta fish and the three others were in the bigger picture of life, and how minutely brief and ultimately inconsequential their impact had been.

Last night, I dreamt of Joe Biden and his son Hunter and saw the genuine affection and close bond they have for one another.  Hunter had 65 legs (perfectly normal in this dream!)--perhaps meaning that legal-wise he has many legs to stand on...In the dream I felt he'd done nothing illegal or even unethical, and as I did the math I calculated that the large sums he earned were actually no greater than so many others engaged in global business (e.g., Trump's three oldest).

Two odd dreams with odd informed-by-the-news metaphors...I look forward to getting back to my more typical/preferred dreams of traveling to fascinating places on Earth!

I don't know if he will be impeached, but I know the House will impeach him. They already have all the evidence they need.

As far as the WH ignoring subpoenas, which they will, there will be no court battle. The refusal is simply added to the articles of impeachment as further proof that they have done something wrong and are attempting to cover it up.

Someone said on TV the other night - and I believe this is true - it's not what they've done, it's what they've done to cover it up.

@suspira44, I agree that the House will impeach.  The Senate won't have enough votes to convict.  The disgusting thing is, I heard that if they were allowed to vote anonymously, there are around 20 Republican senators who would vote "yes."  So even though conviction is a long shot, I believe it's important to get their vote on the record.

Yep, the cover up:  that's what really cooked Nixon's goose.

This morning I heard that legally Pence has fewer protections/safeguards than does Turnip.  I also heard someone say that P. could be found criminally liable through his involvement in this Ukraine mess.  I don't know if that's accurate; perhaps a lawyer on our site could confirm that.

Regarding the entire motley crew of thugs, cowards and criminals:  one of my favorite contributors on MSNBC, Maya Wiley, said "not only will they be under the bus, but the bus will roll over them more than once."

This thread might be better titled "Trump Unraveling Over the Situation" at this point.

Further evidence of case in point continues.

Washington Post, 2 hours ago after Trump's continuing saga of tweets as he surges from internal combustion mode to external nuclear reactor about to blow from over heating .

"Trump uses vulgarity, calls for Romney’s impeachment after senator criticizes president’s China, Ukraine appeals - The Washington Post"

Now, he wants Mitt Romney inpeached. Of course you cannot even impeach a US. Senator.

Trump is simply a "dead man walking" time bomb of his own demise.

As far as doing a reading on what will happen, I am saving myself for a small group reading next week.

My last reading of Trump was that he ends before 2021.

As for whether they will impeach (using the legal term for impeachment here which is only something that happens in the House and does not remove him, it is most likely that he will indeed be impeached but not removed.

It's hard to figure out a situation in which Pelosi would not have the votes.  They only need a simple majority to impeach.  They have ample evidence.  He's already impeached himself with the China caper, and although it may fool the Fox viewers, it doesn't fool the democrats. And the dems are in charge of the House.  But there is always the chance there is something we are missing, so I will wait to see what I get next week.

It's highly unlikely the Senate will come even close to removing him. Many of them are sick of him, even Fox is starting to wobble about him, but Moscow Mitch blocks all votes that might hurt Putin's puppet.

Some people don't want to get their hopes up.  I agree with that, but there is a difference between pinning too much hope on one specific outcome, and discouraging yourself with pessimism. Here's what you can do --

Find out what you know  in your heart is true. Put your hope in that.

Here is what I know is true and where my hope lies:

  • I know that Donald Trump will go down in history as the worst mistake that ever happened  to this country.
  • I know that once he is gone, the public will swing in the other direction.
  • I know that the white conservative boomers are aging out and the next generation coming up is very liberal.
  • I know that the Republican Party will never live down their support of this monster nor the fact that they expedited global warming after we first learned about it  I the 1970's because of their monstrous greed.  They cost us dearly, incalculably, and Greta Thungren was right that the public will not forgive them.
  • I know that the Republican Party will die out as the second biggest party in America, by the end of the 20's, say to under 5%.

I do not pin my hopes on when T will go down.  I just know he will. Just like I know that those who carry on after us will treat this earth like the precious mother she is.  And I also know that we are going into a matriarchal age, where women will lead.

Food for thought:

@TomJChicago
"The collision of Trump’s worsening Frontotemporal dementia symptoms & the stunning exposure of his criminality is creating a spectacular eruption. It's fueled by his own delusion of grandeur that he must be his own spokesman bc “nobody does it better” when talking to the media. Trump’s mind is fragmenting. His word finding continues to degrade to the point where rarely uses a complete sentence".

**********************************************************************************
@jeannemayrell I totally agree with your last post. Thank you.

I feel Tom's comments are accurate.

Also:

T will not be the GOP candidate in 2020. The current propping up of him and the GOP and his family enabling is pure fantasy.

T's numbers are plummeting. When they hit 30%, there will be 20 GOP Senators who will jump ship.

I have seen a stop sign for T in Nov. His current movement forward will end politically. Before the end of the year, we will also see his health failing. It has been for a long time. I see him trying to walk across a bridge to escape. As he looks ahead, the bridge on fire.

And a personal disclosure note:

I've meet T and also hung out with Ivana socially. Ivana and I met on a TV commercial. We used to dance together at a club in NYC, where I live.

T is he evil. Mostly very insecure and greedy. And his family is especially greedy.  No true self-esteem to be found.

A genius? Absolutely not. He wasn't all there back when we met. I was very struck by the confusion I felt going on in him. He look bewildered. He knew he was fading.

I also have two close friends who worked with him on The Apprentice.

As far as Uranus, it changes signs every 7 years. Uranus is change. It's neither good or bad, it's represents the future and brilliance.  It rules the sign of Aquarius.... "Age of Aquarius". A new dawning and order is coming, which is fantastic.

@jeanne-mayell

Beautifully and perfectly expressed. That pretty much sums it all, every single bit of it and him up.

I am bringing out my Halloween broom and sweeping the last of any personal emotional attachment to his and the Republican parties participation in this entire pathetic yet historical farce of a national tragedy into the dustbin of hard lessons learned and already looking ahead as you as have so eloquently expressed.

It all makes me very sad that we had to lose so much good in our lives and our world because of so much bad.

I will forever mourn the loss of nature and beauty in this world as well as the enormous cost in human destruction because of evil greed and corruption for the sake of power.

That part breaks my already overly sensitive and hurting heart. But we will, or others better than us will, indeed survive and be better and do better with this world than we have.
