As I was reading all of this I kept hearing "Send in the clowns". I wasn't going to type it at first, but one of my guides shouted at me to do so. If anyone gets why or what this means by all means please let me know lol.

That's funny. They were very grounded as people and give very clear messages. With so much love.

Bolton willing to testify

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-impeachment-inquiry/bolton-willing-testify-senate-impeachment-trial-if-subpoenaed-n1111256

I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify," Bolton writes in a statement posted Monday.

How will that work since it’s the Republicans who will control the trial?

I remember the line from the “Send in the Clowns” song that says, “Don’t bother, they’re here”
I think it represents the current administration, their incompetence and the circus-like atmosphere that they think will bring them a large audience. Being in the middle of a clown show would be bad enough, but now we are at real risk of being thrust into a war.

I have had an almost panicked feeling all day that something bad is going to happen. I am doing my best to try to figure out if this is my feeling or coming from outside of me. I truly hope that there are no further bad decisions made by the clowns in charge!

Bolton willing to testify

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-impeachment-inquiry/bolton-willing-testify-senate-impeachment-trial-if-subpoenaed-n1111256

I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify," Bolton writes in a statement posted Monday.

How will that work since it’s the Republicans who will control the trial?

I see four possibilities:

Possibility 1. Bolton knows there is no danger of Mitch calling him to testify in the Senate so this is just a way for him to save face and sell books (I also couldn't help noticing that the page he posted his statement is simultaneously soliciting funds for the "Bolton PAC.")   But, with this possibility, Bolton will never testify.

2.  This will put more pressure on Mitch and the Senate Republicans to call witnesses, but Mitch will still refuse to call witnesses or dismiss the trial in some other way.  I could see a group of GOP senators like Collins and Romney trying to push for witnesses using Bolton as a reason, but that doesn't mean they will succeed.  McConnell holds the cards.  Under this possibility, the likelihood of Bolton testifying is still slim to none.

3. McConnell will give in and allow Bolton to testify, but his testify will be short and "managed" by the Senate Republicans in such a way that it will present Trump in the most positive way.  In this possibility, Bolton will testify but what he has to say won't change any Republican votes in the Senate and Trump won't be removed.

4.  This is what Pelosi has been waiting for.   Since the documents haven't been sent, the relevant committees in the House will subpeona Bolton to testify before them where they will have more control and they will amend the impeachment documents to include his testimony so, no matter what McConnell does, Bolton will be on record.  In this possibility, Bolton will testify, but his testimony probably still won't make any difference in the Senate trial if McConnell continues to refuse witness testimony.  And this might backfire on the Democrats, making it look like they weren't competent because they didn't follow through on subpoenaing Bolton during the first go-round.

So, while my first reaction to the news about Bolton was positive, I've since decided that Bolton's "offer" is probably too little too late to accomplish anything in terms of Trump being removed via impeachment.

We're back to square one, which is: do whatever is possible to make sure Trump is not re-elected while hoping that he doesn't destroy the world in the next 10 months.

I keep hearing Judy Collins singing "Send in the Clowns"  when I read about it.

https://youtu.be/8L6KGuTr9TI    a poignant reflection of timing and irony. Of course in the Traveling Circus rules when an unplanned circumstance or disaster in performing occurred the clowns were sent out to distract the restless questioning crowd while behind the scenes the staff dealt with the issue for the "show to go on" ...seems most apropos in the context we are discussing here.

Thank you. I forgot about the letter McCain wrote after the Summit. Also, him being unable to speak but frustrated does make sense now with what you mention. Both because he's since crossed over and technically has no voice now, and because he's associated with a part that isn't speaking up.

And I do hope we learn more about what happened at the summit. I remember when I watched it on tv I was aghast at what Trump said and did while on stage with Putin.

Thank you help with perspective on this.

So true. Thank you for sharing this observation, Lynn. It immediately reminds me of another vision that I've had at least a few times now, starting when T was first inaugurated. In it, I just see Don Jr. sitting alone on a scalloped-backed, navy blue velvet sofa. He looks like he's been up all night—unshaven, rumpled hair and clothes. He's sitting on the very edge of the sofa, nearly bent in half at the waist, and his face is in his hands. He's actively sobbing.

So, now that your post brought this back to me, it feels like a good time to ask: Anyone reading this who feels able, please send light to his children, particularly to his sons (I think the oldest is the one he's concerned about in this vision, but can't be sure). They're all very young still, and every child is innocent. I believe we can shift events, even if just a little, with love.

@vestralux -- I have had almost this exact same vision of junior in dreams several times in the last year.  I've posted about these dreams here in this forum several times.

In every instance, I too have seen Junior on a coach in a high rise apartment sobbing hysterically. He is beyond distraught and totally alone.  There is an open sliding glass door to a balcony across from him.  In my dreams there is also a phone ringing in the background. It rings and rings.  He never answers the phone.  It just keeps ringing.

I've had this dream five times since last May.  Each time I wake up quite disturbed.

I don't see Bolton's statement as positive. He only says he'd testify at the trial in the Senate if subpoenaed. It means he'd continue to ignore subpoenas from the House.  I think RosieHeart's no. 1 is the most likely scenario.

Hello all light working friends -
I had to chime in about the song ‘Send in the Clowns’. Oddly I woke up with this song in my head a few weeks ago. I thought it was a message from my mom that passed away last year. I ended up remembering she liked that song. As has been discussed the song is about sending in the clowns when something goes wrong in the circus. Christmas Eve something happened to me personally so I thought that was the message, but now I am wondering if it’s about this terrible stuff happening with Iran. It’s just like ‘wag the dog’. I have had a very bad feeling when the news came out.

Now my last waking dream a week ago was Otis Reading ‘Sitting on top of the bay watching the tide roll away’.  These song dreams just started happening for me. I do feel it is messages coming from spirit. Very interesting..

I think you both are right and hit the nail on the head with your remarks. I believe they will do something to distract too when I read that from journeywithme2.

I think things are two fold sometimes. This may have still been a message from your mom too. ? ?

Yes I find it very interesting that several of us heard that song so recent (Send in the Clowns). I had not thought of that song in many years. The timing of it all...

Send In The Clowns

( Last Stanza)

Isn't it rich?
Isn't it queer?
Losing my timing this late in my career
But where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns
Well, maybe next year

In reviewing the song right now (I used to sing it at home a lot while  growing up) the last stanza stood out.

Losing my timing this late in my career
But where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns

Two thoughts.

Thought 1:  What if this is about Trump recognizing  things sare not going according to plan and he is trying to figure out how to distract, but it is getting harder to figure that out.

Thought 2:  What if the same lyrics describe the Republican Senators and  Congressmen.  Especially the older established ones who have been supporting Trump and are now stuck.  "Next year" is the next election.

I was just about to post about these lyrics myself and the last verse in particular - completely agree with both thoughts......and that things are not going according to plan for either in question.

Wow, @rosieheart! This is feeling even more significant, which concerns me a bit—at the very least, for who else it might impact.

I haven't seen the same glass door, or that he's in a high rise residence, or heard the sound of a ringing phone (if it matters, my perspective is limited to an ornate coffee table in front of him; a large, maybe impressionist, oil painting in gold frame directly behind him; very high ceilings with large moldings; and a big window streaming daylight in a room further off to his right), but I do very much get the impression that he has quickly taken refuge in this space while the goings-on in the world around him are all very noisy and insistent and overwhelming.

And that would certainly be the case were anything at all of significance to happen to a public figure—the press would be hounding, at the very least.
