KUDOS to whomever it was that predicted the indictment of Sessions. There is a tweet this morning from Scott Stedman of forensicnews.net, a small start-up news company-
"Holy shit. Just released e-mail shows that the Russian lawyer's lawyer passed along a message from Russian lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin that suggests he met with Sessions in 2016. This will prove he lied under oath."
I would love to see him indicted. He lied and smirked through his entire hearing.
Who does the following sound like?
"Crime committed brazenly is over time redefined as something other than crime. It is entertainment, and then it is autocracy, and then it is too late." -- Hiding in Plain Sight, Sarah Kenzior, to be released 4/2020"
@lynnventura, I love Sarah Kenzior. They feature her a lot on MSNBC. I'm also interested in reading Rachel Maddow's new book "Blowout: Corrupted Democracy, Rogue State Russia, and the Richest, Most Destructive Industry on Earth." To the best of my understanding, the book details the history of the fossil fuel industry and how it has corrupted world economies and the environment. The money that's made goes to the oligarchs, and it does not trickle down. This is what motivates Putin, and ties into how and why T. got elected.
@mayberrystars, Right now I sense that the House will impeach, but only a scant few Rethug senators will vote yes -- not enough to impeach. But I still see T. gone -- whether he be hauled out in a straight jacket, physical illness, he quits, whatever.
Yes, T is finished one way or another. The remainder of the year will be politically devastating for him. And his health is hanging on by a thread. Many of the greedy idiots surrounding him will also go down and will be punished. Karma has caught up to them. They have no real power. Just appearances.
@mayberrystars
Perhaps the senate won't convict, but the house will impeach. Remember that impeachment is what the house votes on (like and indictment) and that's sent to the senate for a trial. The senate then decides whether to convict (which removes the president) or acquit.
I agree that conviction looks like a long shot now, but impeachment is more certain, in my opinion. In the meantime, trump's prospects continue to look bad, including health-wise, as Lawrence has predicted. So it's possible he leaves some other way. Even if he stays, he'll always have the asterisk of impeachment next to his vile name in the history books.
@lynnventura, I tend to use the two words "impeach" and "convict" interchangeably when I speak about the Senate's role, but that's not accurate. Thanks for clarifying!
@lynnventura
I think you may not have read all what I wrote. I commented there is a good chance the house won't impeach.
let me clarify... there is a good chance the house won't be able to bring articles of impeachment due to the lack of solid evidence.
Trump wins on his war of words.
I hope you're all right about Trump being impeached whether senate convicts or not. if the senate refuses to convict based on lack of evidence from the house, Trump stays in the White House until he is either re-elected or not.
This situation of Trump is much harder to predict. Remember when psychics everywhere predicted Hillary would win???
it wasn't that long ago and I have a theory as to why that happened with Hillary
blame it all on the planet Uranus which is equivalent to the Tower card in whichever tarot deck.
Uranus will be hanging around for the next 80 years. Not good
@mayberrystars
Got it. I just thought maybe you were using impeach and convict interchangeably. My mistake.
My head says there's no way the house doesn't impeach. There's just too much evidence out there, and people have stared turning on each other. That said, I am way too emotionally involved in all of this to get an accurate feeling about it.
When trump was first elected, I had a strong sense that he'd be a one-term president, and that if his four years were a disaster that would pave the way for 8 years of a democratic administration it would be worth it. I'm not so sure now. I never could have imagined all the ways he would take a sledgehammer to laws, norms, rules, etc. I am astounded on a daily basis at the stuff he does -- things that no president before him would have even considered. So we are in a perilous situation now, but things can turn on a dime, and I hope they will.
As for Uranus, OMG, I can even digest that right now. Eighty years of this kind of chaos is too much to absorb. I need a nap.

I think that was in a set of predictions from a meditation that I did in May for October 2019. I would feel relieved that there is some hope of some justice being done if it actually happens. All of the posturing and dissembling by the R’s is becoming unbearable. They don’t even believe what they are saying anymore. They are just trying to play for time.
I have had migraines this week and it just feels like I can sense the almost overwhelming manic energy of an epic battle happening there. The only thing that is helping is getting out into nature. I don’t think the universe can keep this up forever! Something will tip things one way or another soon.
Something we can do to help immediately is to support the current whistleblower and future whistleblowers by donating to the GoFundMe account set up to help offset their legal fees. I’ll find the link. It was endorsed by one of the whistleblower’s attorneys, so it is legitimate.
