Although I understand the dems strategy I simply don’t think it will work. With a narcissist it creates more chaos and narcissists LOVE chaos! The comebacks seem to create a sugar high and although that may make us feel a bit better for a little while it doesn’t last.
I would like to see the dems respond with facts! Over and over again just the facts..plain and simple. If trump responds he will need to react refuting the facts. Keep moving forward with factual information again and again and again. Justin Amash (R) has done that once again on twitter regarding trumps impeachable conduct. The facts!
People seem to really get hooked into the drama, jump on a bandwagon and off we go. I wonder though is the outcome really a resolution to the problems we are experiencing in our country?
I also wonder since writing my last post if the 20 democratic candidates may be the 20 vials of anti venom that are being infused into our country that could be life saving to our democracy. I don’t know. In conversations I have changed the channel so to speak. Regardless of who I am interacting with as soon as they mention trump I talk about one of the democratic candidates. Factual, positive, life giving.
I find the place we find ourselves today surreal. Yet, I returned from a walk in the Forrest today to find two ducks resting in my garden. ? I’m with them..I’m going to rest. I’m not willing to live my life in fear of the future, today may be the only day I have left.

Getting rid of of T may give us some breathing room – which we desperately need to begin healing from the trauma -- but it won’t solve the root cause of our problems. The energy of the masses created T, to outwardly express what’s been festering in this country: sins of the past that have never been reconciled, inequality, lack of connection, corporate greed, feeling powerless, externalization.
Yes, we do like the drama. Consider the popularity of reality TV. One of the reasons why T got elected. People honestly believed they knew him. Years ago I worked in advertising. They see what you want them to see.
The 20 Dem candidates as 20 vials of anti-venom – I can see that. I love that. I almost wish the 20 could get together and work on a joint game plan! I know that sounds crazy since they’re competing against one another, but there is power in numbers. And they already have the stage.

I hear you! It makes perfect sense for them to have some disagreements as long as they don’t attack each other. Hopefully each of them takes the high road. We will see. In a month we will see them debate. It will be revealing. I hope they all do well! To look at several candidates and be able to say, wow any one of them would be a great president!
I believe Nancy Pelosi is trying to get the Orange Turd to step down as potus, which is why she keeps saying she isn't going to start the impeachment process. Then she very masterfully threw out the 'I' word - 'intervention' and said she is 'praying for him'. She knows, as do the enlightened ones here, that the Orange Turd is not well (mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually) and is changing the conversation away from impeachment. It's a brilliant move on her part because it throws him and the Rethugs off-guard because they are all geared towards fighting impeachment and she starts a conversation about intervention! Nancy wants the Orange Turd supporters to know he is not well and must, for HIS sake, resign.
Will we see Mueller testify?

I believe he wants to testify. He knows that the repugs will attack him and put more confusion out to the public, that’s why he said he doesn’t want to appear partisan. I believe he wants a subpoena to counter the attack’s.
I agree, Robin. Problem is this country as we know it is running out of time. Just today a top Trump official (Lynne Patton, Housing & Urban Development) said she doesn't care about the rule of law. He's not even trying to hide the fact anymore that he wants to be a fascist dictator (not that he ever really did)
If Mueller isn't just another party-over-country rethug, he needs to step up NOW and do the right thing. Who cares if he appears partisan? That's a damn small price to pay to save our democratic republic. Twitler and his treason-covering minions don't care how they come across. Or does Mueller have his head in the sand and not realize the grave danger this country is in?
I am hoping and praying that Luminata's prediction about him testifying in the House (August 2019) comes true, and all the other Twitler downfall predictions come true as well.
