@cc21 So appreciative of the effort you put into this. It deserves more response, but I am going to focus on one thing: Oct. - The Hermit for Biden. I have had a lot of thoughts about his health. In fact, I'm not sure I see it holding up throughout his tenure in office and therefore his VP choice is crucial. At the same time, I feel like he has been chosen to begin the healing process from T's destructive actions and behavior and to pave the way for the next generation. So, I concluded that his not needing to be on a rigorous and exhausting campaign schedule plays perfectly into things. Thus, this jumped out at me when you wrote: I see this as Biden conserving his energy for the election and the job ahead. "He is still holding the light, though and shining "hope" to the world. He is turning inward for guidance and avoiding distractions prior to the election. The text indicates that this card represents divine inspiration, wisdom and prudence. Seemed to fit Biden well." Thank you so much for this effort and for sharing it. I'll only add that I keep seeing Kamala as VP (although that's coming from everywhere) but I also got a very strong feeling that they will have a wonderful working relationship.
@laura-f This complements the things I've read on authoritarians as well. Most of my authority came from John Dean's book CONSERVATIVES WITHOUT CONSCIENCE. Probably outdated now, but still relevant. I remember one of his statements was that no amount of evidence piled right in front of them will make a difference. Hence, Trump's base doesn't budge much--except on the edges.
Getting back to @pamp's premonition for Florida. I still feel it could be about covid in the next few weeks and then in the fall there are the hurricanes. I don't want to think about covid surging in Florida, with the high percentage of elderly.
@dannyboy - glad that some of this resonated with you! I agree - Biden is taking a good tack by not responding to Trumps continued tantrums and attacks.

As a Florida resident, I can say that our sleepy, rural central Florida county has had exponential growth in COVID cases over the past week. As an ER nurse, I can tell you that we are testing many patients in the ER for it. I am seeing an uptick in respiratory illnesses in general, and in severity. I am very concerned about the next few months, and the upcoming flu season. Please, everyone, get your flu shot this fall if you are able.
@lowtide Thank you for letting us know how it is there and for you. Please know we will be sending healing and hope and praying for Florida and all places where covid is surging right now. But with such a high elderly population I am praying that Florida residents will stay away from crowds and respect social distancing.
Thank you, Jeanne. This is indeed an elderly population center and our community has many snowbirds. We just moved here a year ago, and it’s a different world. We never truly shut down here. People are about 50/50 with wearing masks and social distancing, even the elderly. I fear we are getting ready to reap the whirlwind for our carelessness. (Hopefully not in hurricane activity!)
@cc21 I love all the cards you pulled and the wonderful reading for both Harris and Biden. I agree with the Hermit card that Biden’s saving his energy. Trump’s ammo has always been to stir up the pot and get everyone so upset with his bullying tactics however sometimes silence could be golden. Biden’s spending his energy and resources calculating T’s every move yet he doesn’t need to counter T’s big mouth. It’s like having a baby, when you train your newborn to sleep through the night, you have to be patient and allow the newborn to cry and cry for hours for many nights maybe even weeks but eventually it will stop crying because the baby will soon recognized that crying will not get the parents attention. T is the cry baby and Biden’s letting him carry out his childish hissy fit. The hermit card to me shows that Biden is very spiritual person and he’s currently in a meditative state waiting for the child (T) to destroy it’s own wall. Biden just smile and wait for it.

@cc21 I am fascinated by the psychology of authoritarians which, of course, makes up most of Trump's supporters. Inspired by cc21, I decided this morning to ask for a card that represented TRUMP SUPPORTERS. I pulled DEFEAT #5 in Swords. Although I thought I could leave it at that, I tried to read the card anyway: Their thinking is full of chaos and their swords of hate are showing wear and tear will be defeated. There is potential for them to evolve, but they have focused their attention on the tips of their swords which are now touching one another like a circular firing squad. They will be defeated.
Then, I asked for a card that represented BIDEN'S SUPPORTERS. No kidding, I pulled VIRTUE #3 in Wands. I saw their energy going out and emanating everywhere. Their wands are upright and look like they are blossoming. All is connected.
Crowley adds to DEFEAT: loss, malice, spite, weakness and slander.... I thought that pretty well nailed it. For VIRTUE, he adds established strength, Success after struggle (which I loved!) and realization of hope.
