When stuff like this happens, there's always some sort of direct connection to something occurring, or about to occur. I'm not sure what's going on, but I just had an aluminum decorative Florida bowl fly off the pass-through. My spidey-sense (for lack of a better word) is tingling. Y'all be safe out there, especially if you are in Florida.

Community, this is the woman (@pamp) who had that incredible dream back in November about stone dragons in front of NYC coming alive and entering the water to swim towards the city, and as she watched them swim, it started snowing blood. She was seeing in November tourist buses, likely those China buses, bringing tourists with covid to NYC where that disease killed thousands of people. And this was at a time when almost no one, except the Chinese and Donald Trump knew about the threat of Covid-19 to the U.S.  Hers was the most powerful of all of the premonitions of covid out of dozens.

If bowls are flying around her home and she sees it as a bad omen for Florida, I'm going to call my relatives in Orlando and tell them to be careful.

@tgraf66. I hadn't thought of that, but it is that time of year.  I thought it was about covid surging there and the dire consequences in a population so elderly. But the winds are getting stronger now, and the increase is happening exponentially.

@Bluebelle

Re: The followers of the Crypto-theo-fascist death cult that is embodied by A Clodwork Orange.

I'm sorry I don't have a link, but I have read multiple studies over the last few years that say:

  • Rigid thinkers have ever so slightly below average intelligence
  • Rigid thinkers fear authority, but tend to become authoritarian in their own lives
  • Authoritarians gravitate to other authoritarians and tend to see the most pathological of their kind as leaders
  • Authoritarians tend to be more conservative in their religious beliefs
  • Authoritarians tend towards intolerance of anything and anyone that is even slightly unfamiliar to them, which is to say they tend to be very tribalistic as well
  • Authoritarians operate day to day out of fear more than any other emotion, as a result they tend not to follow suggestions, only what they perceive as orders.

Add layers of possible mental illness, e.g., antisocial personality disorder, bipolar, narcissism, etc., and you end up with a volatile mix.  Add in another layer of what amounts to mass hysteria, and well, you get the picture. It's not rosy.

And I do think there is an issue related to education. Sorry to repeat myself, but the neo-cons have been clawing back at public education since I was in kindergarten. It's like everything else, and I probably need to post this on another thread, but I'm putting it in caps:

PATCHWORK SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK UNLESS YOU ARE MAKING A QUILT!!!

Whether we're talking about education, healthcare, politics, this country is made up of so many divided patchworks that there's no national consensus on anything. There's no civic unity and as a result no civility.

So your relatives are just more stitches in whichever patchwork they are in.  Your strength of compassion is awesome - I would not be able to (and in fact struggle daily with my BFF's views, even though she and her husband are not MAGAts).

Bless you, Bluebelle, stay strong!!!

Hi all - I have another longish reading (apparently, this is my current mode of operating!)

I was thinking of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, so I pulled cards for both (separately) to cover next few months.

HARRIS

What can you tell me about Kamala Harris:

Now - Satiety (10 of cups)

When I look at the card, I see strength, fullness, structure. The cups are full of water and shining like beams of light providing clarity. When I read the text about this card, things that stand out are statements of "lasting success" and "peacemaking" however, the full cups can represent things as unstable and a force that disrupts and attacks supposed perfection.

I interpret this as Kamala being in a strong position and perhaps if she is Biden's VP choice, she will be in a good position to help disrupt what T has created and provide lasting success in the long-run?

End of July - Dominion (2 of wands)

Interesting card! When I look at it, the red dots in the background make me think of the wands breaking up the status quo and shaking things up; taking charge. The fire in the back of the swords seems to be moving and providing the fire energy of change. I read the text about this card and it mentions the wands being the Tibetan dorje, which is a symbol of destruction, but destruction as the first step in a creative process. So this might be representing her helping to break up the current scenario of the last 4 years and helping get those changes in motion?

Aug/Sept - Virtue (3 wands) - Virtue (3 of wands)

The color of this card is orange - so a bit calmer than red, but still energetic. Tempered energy. The light is shining. The text indicates the "establishment of primeval energy" and "success after struggle" and "established strength." So I interpret this as Harris bringing, again, strong energy of change and success.

I pulled one more card, asking about her relationship with Biden -- Science (6 of swords)

The golden cross in the center really stands out. It made me think of Biden's strong faith (both in God and science - thinking of his "moonshot" program for cancer) and the sword points all converging there. I felt like "they nailed it!"

BIDEN

After Harris, I thought I would pull some cards for Biden and got a really interesting series below:

July - The Fool

New beginnings - perhaps a partnership with a VP choice has solidified and the plans are coming together? Early phase of a new partnership.

I noticed the dove, the butterfly and the tiger. The text indicates that the dove represents love, peace and spiritual guidance; the butterfly represents new beginnings, but a short life (could be literal, or just that as experience increases, the "new" wears off...) and the tiger biting the leg represents a disregard for anything that hurts him.

August - Queen of Wands

He is in control! He is controlling the narrative and becoming stronger. The text that resonated - calm authority; adaptability and persistent energy.

Sept. - Dominion (2 of wands)

Same card that I pulled for Harris in July! Again, the idea that the wands are clearing the way and breaking up the status quo was very hopeful. The text indicates "energy initiating a current of force", so perhaps the force of change that he can/will bring is starting to take shape.

Oct. - The Hermit

Interesting card. Concerned me at first, but when I looked at the card, I see this a Biden conserving his energy for the election and the job ahead. He is still holding the light, though and shining "hope" to the world. He is turning inward for guidance and avoiding distractions prior to the election. The text indicates that this card represents divine inspiration, wisdom and prudence. Seemed to fit Biden well.

Nov. - Ace of Swords (1)

A great card! And to pull this for November? Hopefully, good news. The word victory keeps coming to mind - esp. with the image on the card of the sword pointing upwards. The text indicates that this card represents the "diamond mind" or intellect at its best. The sword cuts through confusion; "knowing your calling." Thinking about the "calling" part - this seems to resonate with Biden who I think is in this race to fulfill his calling and promise to his late son, Beau, among others.

Dec. - Knight of Cups - idealism

Also another interesting card. This one has the knight, helmetless (openness and trust) offering up the chalice. I think of Biden offering hope. The crab is in the chalice and can be a sign of love, spirituality and loyalty. He is surrounded by angel wings - angelic support for Biden? I feel like this card may represent a regaining of the trust of the American people and loyalty to our country? The knight is also rising above the peacock in the lower right corner. The peacock can be a symbol of vanity and ego, so perhaps this represents Biden rising above those things that T. seems to have emphasized these last 4 years.

Jan. 2021 - The Lovers

Good card - esp. thinking of the inauguration! This seems to represent a unity; a coming together; rising of love (not hatred.) The card itself looks like a marriage ceremony so perhaps this is the beginning of love/healing with the partnership of Biden and his VP? This whole card represents partnership; two halves of a whole -- so again, perhaps it emphasizes the importance of the VP in all of this. Interestingly, the figures on the card are brown and white so perhaps also emphasizing a coming together from the racial conflicts that have been occurring. I noticed the lion (text says represents creativity) and the eagle (represents spiritual energy.) Both qualities can emerge from the union. I keep getting lots of "spiritual" references in these cards for Biden so he brings that energy and his VP the creativity?

I welcome any additional interpretations or thoughts!

@jeanne-mayell Thanks, Jeanne! I lived in South Florida much of early life, and hurricanes are awful things. I had a dream back in March where I was looking at a map of the US. The southern states were on fire, but there was a huge hurricane heading their way.

I'm really hoping this doesn't come true.

@pamp Thanks for your insights and visions.  So your thought was that it was a hurricane you were feeling?  Certainly an object flying through the air in your own home in your mind's eye raises feelings of high winds.  When you first mentioned your concern about Florida, I thought of the pandemic.

@cc21- I love this reading!  As I watch the Trumpster Fire try to say that Biden isn't mentally fit to be President (while making a buffet of word salad himself) I'm especially in love with this part:

August - Queen of Wands

He is in control! He is controlling the narrative and becoming stronger. The text that resonated - calm authority; adaptability and persistent energy.

One of the things I've read is that Biden's lack of a response to attacks is really bothering Trump.  The definitive case of the "ignore your bully and they'll go away" tactic we teach kids in action once again doesn't work in adults either.  But it sure does make the adult ignoring it look a lot better, doesn't it?  :-)  A clear path I see to your prediction above coming true:  Trump is getting increasingly childish and nasty in response.  As Biden continues this, only having random, short, controlled pressers and responding to the issues, it's going to become clearer and clearer which one of these two is in control.  It's fun to watch even if it's simultaneously depressing when you remember this is the leader of the free world we're talking about.
