Understanding Artificial Intelligence.

@jackofhearts When I was young, I often saw idealized "educational" films (especially at Disney parks) in which we were told that robots and computers would do all of our work for us and that we would then have almost infinite time for leisure. The question that always occurred to me then - and which I asked several times and received only dismissive answers at best - was "if robots and computers do all of our work for us, how do we make money to live and buy things?" I'm still asking that question, and I'm still getting non-answers. The problem is that now, that future is taking shape, and the consequences of a no-income economy are staring us in the face. Although I'm pretty well retired now, I'd still like to know the answer to that question.
