@jeanne-mayell Yesterday, the UN, in consensus with Canada, Australia, and 20 other countries—all of which signed the agreement—has established a global regulatory body to ensure that autonomous AI systems remain under mandatory human control. However, the AI superpowers—the U.S., China, the U.K., France, Japan, and India—refused to sign, so as not to have their dominance in the global arms race restricted by international regulations.
