There are many wonderful reasons to use alternative medicine but these people really make it difficult to gain and keep credibility.
This felt like a gut punch when her videos circulated in early 2020. Plenty of others are taking her place, one today was equating non vaccinated football players to being in the Holocaust.
Skepticism is rational. The drug companies have plenty to answer for. But Her videos were terrible and likely caused harm.
I cannot believe all these disgusting comparisons to the Holocaust. I am the grandchild of a survivor. Saying taking precautions with Covid is akin to the Holocaust is like saying putting on socks is the same as chopping off your feet. Madness.
In case you are curious about your county’s standing in the transmission of Covid-19, just check out this link to the CDC. You enter your state and county and get an idea how things are going. Luckily, my county is listed as moderate, and today on my errands I noticed a lot more people wearing masks. Since I got the J&J, it’s back to mask wearing for me and it doesn’t bother me one bit!

@lenor This country data is terrific. Thank you for finding this for us.
https://covidactnow.org/?s=21111035 breaks it down from top to bottom : US,state, county, risk level, number vaccinated... no surprises here .. my county is very high risk, 31% and cases rising daily with school starting in person next week on the 4th. So reassuring! Not.
MSNBC just discussed Mitch McConnell using his own re-election campaign $$ to do pro vaccine ads in Kentucky. He is running radio ads. They asked a reporter why he thought Mitch was doing it - he responded- Mitch’s polio and the fact that this is “getting real”. The vaccination rates in Kentucky especially being so low. The reporter also mentioned a general feeling of frustration among leaders at the Capitol.
@journeywithme2 You could not have said it better. No surprise that he's using reelection money, not his own considerable blood money. It's for his reelection. He's trying to salvage his brand. Soon, the likes of Florida politicians like Rick Scott and Governor Desantis who forbade state employees to use the term global warming or climate change, will be pouring their reelection money into saving Florida from rising seas.
