For anyone who sews-if you go on Twitter, hashtag #MakeMedicalMasks, a physician is requesting people sew masks for medical personel. Instructions are posted.
Everything fell into place just right in my immediate family in terms of quarantining. Yesterday, I drove down to Connecticut to hunker with my parents, and I feel much more relaxed now than I did when I was alone with my thoughts in my studio apartment. My older brother, who lives in NYC, had been snowboarding with some buddies since last Thursday in Wyoming (they weren't taking advantage of rock-bottom airline tickets; the trip had been planned for several months). Yesterday, rather than fly back to NY (which will probably be locked down like the Bay Area), he rented a car and drove to Salt Lake City to stay with my twin brother for the next few weeks; he had foresight and packed his work computer and extra clothes before heading west. So we all have the company of another family member even if we're not under the same roof. That makes me feel lighter.
LOVE this news! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
