@jeanne-mayell I think with a lot of lockdowns virus may be stymied.  Main issue i think is test shortages.  I don't get a great feeling about this personally, but let's consider that something will pass through congress since it is clear that we are in this together.  The odd thing is that expectations can influence results.  Even if I think something will never happen, I try to shield myself and consider that maybe things will turn out better than I expect.

Iran coronavirus:

Based on satellite images it appears that Tehran has been  building vast burial trenches for COVID-19 victims .

Coronavirus burial pits in Iran are so incredibly vast that they’re visible from space.

And just two days tine after Iran declared its first cases of the novel coronavirus.

It would appear that they may have had enormous loss of lives and therefore become one of the largest outbreaks of the illness outside of China.

Check out the satellite image here:

I just saw this video of the worlds reaction to the virus. It touched me deeply and wanted to share with all my light working friends.
It reminds me of some kind of World War, that it is effecting All of us and we all have similar emotions....we are all connected.

 New York Times:
Fear, Humor, Defiance: How the World Is Reacting to Coronavirus

The coronavirus has touched a diverse collection of countries and cultures, but a number of shared experiences have emerged — from grieving the dead to writing songs.

@lovendures Yes!  Katie Porter is a hero.  She is a beacon to all women leaders who will be studying and learning from her for years to come.  She, along with Ayana Presley and AOC, is part of the turn around we are seeing that will lead this country to the more beautiful world we all know is possible.

Good news: Under heavy fire, Trump administration announces efforts to speed testing for coronavirus

The Trump administration announced a series of steps to boost the availability of coronavirus testing, which has drawn heated, bipartisan criticism and frustrated Americans who are sick and have been unable to find out whether they are infected.
The Food and Drug Administration has created a 24-hour emergency hotline for laboratories finding impediments to running tests, according to announcements early on Friday. Officials also announced they were giving nearly $1.3 million in federal money to two companies trying to develop rapid covid-19 tests that could determine results in an hour.

The fact that the Administration has bungled the response to this epidemic is bad news for them but good for the turnaround we need in the future.

The fact that Katie Porter had to push the CDC Director and the world watched him avoid answering the questions and try to wiggle out of a decision means that once the tests start coming and this virus begins to turn around, the people of this country will not forget how the Trump GOP Administration had to be pressured to take care of them.  People also will not forget the courage of the Illinois Governor who stood up and criticized the Administration for failing to produce tests.

It is a perfect storm for bringing down the Administration. They will of course, spin the story, but people won't forget what happened to them personally and who their heroes were.

@tiger-n-owl

Absolutely, positively true. My initial thought was "wow, this is just how we felt after 9-11 the spirit and energy of unification.

Even our staunchly pro Trump extended family members (disclaimer: all on my husband's side ?

But of course its absolutely global in all ways. Breaks my heart that it takes something so filled with loss and tragedy to realize at the end of the day we all care the very most about the same things--the people we love above all.

The possibilty of loss is one thing but the actual losses to people we love becomes forever and ever life changing events.

My heart hurts so much for so many losses in so many countries all over this big, beautiful home we call Earth".

Gives me enormous hope now more than ever that hearts will feel all other hearts and they will expand, encompass, and merge with and blend into one another until all of us are able to not only feel the heart of another but all hearts everywhere and the division and separated that damaged and unhealed man has created in humankind will transform and rise up into and because of pure and perfect love as one world, one heart, one world.

???

CNN)President Donald Trump has grown more and more irate as his attempts to contain the political fallout of coronavirus -- much less the health crisis itself -- continue to fall short, people close to him said.

Here is a positive outcome of the coronavirus.  Fossil fuel pollution is plummeting.  Check out the video of emissions in Milan: https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2020/03/13/italy-emissions-coronavirus/ ?

The same thing happened in China. This could mean a reduction in the atmospheric carbon levels for 2020 that no one could have imagined.

I know this is the million-dollar question, but does anybody know when we can expect this pandemic to end?

Here in the UK, Bumbling Boris has decided to implement no social distancing, no testing of any kind outside hospitals and no mass closures of any kind. We've basically been told that most of us will get the virus at some point, and many of us will 'lose loved ones' so we're all suitably freaked out and pretty horrified at the idea of the government allowing almost a million innocent people to die for no apparent reason.

While we're not in as serious a situation as you guys in the US, we do have a severely underfunded NHS, which will ultimately collapse under the weight of the upcoming Italy-like crisis.

I just need a little bit of hope at the moment that this will end soon. All this darkness is really harming my mental wellbeing.

The Mad King is holding a press conference.  What an asshole.  I decided to watch because different medical experts and business people (from Labcorp, Quest Diagnostics, Walmart, CVS, etc.) were speaking.  Unbelievably T still wanted to shake their hand, and most complied -- except for a few who just nodded, and one CEO, who gave him the elbow greeting.  Then Mike Pence went up to the microphone, fawning all over him -- stuff like "under your incredible leadership", "you've been so decisive," "you've put the health of all Americans first".  Banana Republic stuff.  It made me think of that meeting he had with his Cabinet, and how they were all genuflecting before him. It made me nauseous and I walked away.  I'm sorry that I watched.

@jha I'm thinking that April will be a big month because back in the  11.11.19 meditation I'd seen so much upset in the collective for that month. Although that upset could be something involving Trump.  Anyway it may slow down during summer, but not go away, when people get more sunshine which can boost their immune systems.

Hard to believe Johnson would do something that flies in the face of science at such a critical time.  Pandemic experts explain why social distancing is so important-- It keeps  the number of cases at levels that the health care system can manage.

It's possible that everyone may eventually be exposed, but we want them to spread it out so they don't all hit the hospitals at the same time as has happened in Italy. Also if we can spread it out, then we increase the chances of getting a vaccine to those who are able to stay healthy.

In the graph, the yellow mountain is what has happened in Italy.

Me too deetoo (sorry I couldn't resist the rhyme lol). He actually seemed less out of it this time. And yes Pence made me queasy. I just listened to see how he answered the questions of the reporters. Then I turned it off. I can only take so much of his energy.

Thank you, @jeanne-mayell. I don't think anybody really trusts what Johnson is saying, and this 'herd immunity' nonsense has already been debunked by many experts. It seems like they're unnecessary inflicting harm on the general public.

I've already started self-isolating, partially because I have some symptoms that are reminiscent of the virus (although, since they're no longer testing people, I have no idea if it's Coronavirus or just another respiratory cold). I just hope other people are practicing social distancing, too. It's going to get much worse before it gets better.

@jha my best friend is a civil servant In The U.K. government. He has told me like trump johnson bungled this completely. However his wife works in infectious disease and they have predicted that it will last 3 months with 6 bad weeks.

@jaidy, thank you for sharing this. That is the most comforting thing I've heard in some weeks. There's no question Johnson has bungled it. I don't think anybody truly thinks this is a good idea, but if those on the inside are predicting an endpoint as short as three months, I get some comfort from it.

I just really hope that they're able to (as they claim) flatten the curve.
