Pfizer is saying that their vaccine is 95% effective and will looking into applying for the US Food administration emergency use within a few days.
Pfizer cannot roll that vaccine out fast enough with surges in CV growing at such an alarming rate, and wonder how fast it can be administered from state to state?
Here in NM it was reported that hospitals are stretched to the breaking point right now ...
"NM experienced another Coronavirus explosion Tuesday setting a new all time high in cases,deaths and hospitalizations" (from The Santa Fe New Mexican news source)..... and most probably higher today.
This state has an estimated pop of only 2.35 million, and if it's an 'micro to the macro' indicator, we are in some serious s**t. Just when so many states relaxed their guards and everyone thought it was safe to go back in the water, here comes the Meg.
It filters down to everyday stuff like when you are hesitant to go into a laundromat with that mountain of essentials that's been building up, and figuring what is really essential to your life's functioning (shortages,etc)...
I'm sure that so many have made big strides in this dilemma since last March or so, and we are all bone weary of it by now... fear doesn't even factor in anymore as much as "What fresh hell is it today?"
And please, no one project that Joe Biden could become sick ... just nooo.
It's time to focus on a stretch of positive intention for healing that may exceed anything we have ever manifested before ?
More possibly good news on the covid front. Im not sure if its reported yet, but just heard from a friend in the Australian upper government that a new strain has been found in the south of the country. Its more infectious but only has a 24-48 hour incubation period and symptoms thusfar are showing to be mild or non existent. This is good because another major mutation happened and it is following the typical evolutionary paint of getting less deadly and more transmissible. When this happens with viruses, the new strain tends to overtake the older ones and become dominant. What this means is covid should become more widespread with a much lower mortality and hospitalization rate, and because the likelihood of all but one useful protein staying the same, the new, weaker strain should give a period of immunity for the older more dangerous strains.
I know I've said this before, but this is what I expected to happen. This happened with the Spanish flu, among many other viruses, and now it is just one of the common influenza strains we have. The same is starting to happen with covid which is a light at the end of the tunnel.
That is good news ... and also the Biden administration will be behind the Science to flatten the curve I know....

Sounds like people actually trust Pfizer and the FDA. Unlike Trump, they do use science. But Pfizer's goal is profit and upping their stock quote. The FDA is influenced by Big Pharma and by pressures to fast-track a vaccine. I'd like help figuring out if the vaccine is safe. There must be some outside parties who are evaluating it.
Yes, agreed, but at this point ..well. The whole world is begging for the medicine that will deliver that miracle, and it might not be the Pfizer fast- track, but then again, it's possible.
Maybe (mas1581) can come up with some more reliable info on that scientific front? I hope that someone can shed some certifiable light there .....
