Don't get me started on opening up schools, especially hot spots. Once kids are attending school in person, the rates are going to sky rocket. It is possible there will be only virtual learning when your kids school opens Jess1978. Things are still fluid. Is there an online school at least one could attend? Arizona has had many online school options for years that are accredited by the state.
Baseball. 13 members associated with the Marlins have now tested positive for Covid-19 and there are reports that Miami coaches and players had made a decision to play Sunday's game against the Phillies despite learning of multiple players testing positive earlier in the day.
They should not have played that game. Totally not cool. I wonder how short this shorten season will become now.
Update:
Rabies - not a concern, apparently they haven't even found a rabid coyote around here in over 20 years. They didn't think it would be necessary to file a police report, find the guy, and have the dog euthanized just to rule that out.
Tetanus - shot administered.
Antibiotics - they went with Sulfa + Clindamycin, which should work on pretty much every "dog bug".
The Wound - they complimented MY initial treatment, said to continue with antibiotic cream and keep it covered. Apparently it's not deep, despite the blood. The doc said to expect some minor swelling and redness, however if a fever comes on or if the redness and swelling increases beyond the margins of the wound compared to right now, to go back to urgent care.
COVID - male hubby. male doctor. My thought got poo-pooed as "far-fetched", but I will prevail in this and make my husband get tested in about 2 weeks.
My nerves - Frayed.
The rabies part is excellent news.
