@jeanne-mayell

Is it possible to organize a healing meditation for the coronavirus? So many around the world are being affected, so many are suffering. I would be able to do 9 pm EST if others would like to join.

Everyone be safe.

There is not yet a clear consensus about how it spreads, although I have heard some reports that it might be airborne. Either way, everyone should prepare by buying disposable face masks and gloves.

More importantly you should also start dropping hints to your boss about working from home IF things start affecting your city/ town.

I know I will.

@blackandwhite  Dr. John Campbell has confirmed that the COVID 19 virus is also spread via airborne contact. He recently expressed concerns that the virus may require more than a two week isolation period to detect the virus. As far as masks and gloves, I suggest you watch how to prevent cross contamination if you plan to use them. His best advise is to carefully and frequently wash your hands, thoroughly with hot soapy water for a prescribed time (long enough to sing "Happy Birthday,at least.)

He said to avoid large crowds, social kissing & hugging, get plenty of sleep and disinfect handles, door knobs and the common surfaces that we might touch and then transmit to our faces, mouths, etc. I hope this helps you.

There seems to be some confusion between airborne transmission (through the air) vs. aerosol transmission (through microscopic droplets of water). I’m not sure if Dr. Campbell meant to use the term airborne, or if it was colloquially referring to aerosol transmission.

We know the virus is certainly transmissible by aerosol particles, which can float through the air in a similar pattern to airborne transmission - but that still requires contact with the contaminated particles. What’s not clear is if the virus is truly airborne, which means it would be transmissible through simply being in the same air space as an infected person without coming into direct contact with contaminated particles.

Base advice still stands - wash your hands frequently with warm soapy water, avoid touching your face as much as possible, and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze with something other than your hands.

@earthmuffin

You have to sing the "happy birthday song" twice to make it past 20 seconds which is the minimum recommended time for hand washing .

Jeanne, you mentioned having a zoom meditation for our world tomorrow (Wednesday) night.  Might we combine that with a healing meditation for the Coronavirus patients?

Today has been a really bad day regarding Covid -19.

It has truly exploded.

Europe

Students who went on class ski trips during a break are showing signs of the virus.  Schools are canceling classes throughout Europe and the UK.  Many of the cases in Europe can be traced to N. Italy. Italy has 280 cases so far and 11 deaths.

A thousand guests and workers at a hotel in Tenerife, Spain have been quarantined after an Italian doctor and his wife tested positive for coronavirus, and as the first cases of the disease were detected in Austria, Croatia and Switzerland.

News of Spain’s rising infection toll came as the Austrian state of Tyrol, which borders Italy, confirmed its first two cases of the virus and a hotel in Innsbruck was placed under lockdown after an Italian receptionist there contracted the virus, according to local media.

Iran

The deputy health minister of Iran gave a press conference yesterday saying the reports of a widespread outbreak in Iran of Covid-19 were overblown.  He looked very unwell while doing so.  24 hours later tested positive for the virus. Most of the Middle East now has cases of the virus, most linked to trace in Iran.  I ran has since said they have had 95 cases of the virus and 15 deaths.  If this is true and most believe both numbers are much higher, then Iran has a VERY high death rate from the virus.

Airborne transmission and aerosol transmission are the same thing as Dr Campbell has explained in one of his youtube releases .

CDC is warning of it spreading in the US. God help us since we have the most incompetent administration.

Trump's advisers and political allies are increasingly concerned that a botched response could hurt the U.S. economy and put his reelection prospects at risk. Public health and other administration officials fielded questions from more than a dozen senators for about an hour while HHS Secretary Alex Azar and acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf faced sharp criticism at a pair of Senate budget hearings.

His administration is more worried about his reflection and stock market? Not our health.

Now Republicans are worried for this administration response.

It could be an existential threat to a lot of people in this country,” warned Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.). “So money should not be an object. We should try to contain and eradicate this as much as we can, both in the U.S. and helping our friends all over the world.”

At the homeland security budget hearing, Sen. John Neely Kennedy (R-La.) criticized acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf for not providing enough information about risks from the outbreak. "You're supposed to keep us safe, and the American people deserve some straight answers on the coronavirus, and I'm not getting them from you,” Kennedy said.

We only have 1 prediction for the Olympics this summer in Japan.  This is very odd.

We should have more.

I wonder if we will have an Olympics this summer????
