is it Gov Douche-y ? i thought everyone pronounced it that way.
Also, some of you may be wondering why Texas' Gov Abbot is in a wheelchair. It has nothing to do with his Covid virus. It is because a tree fell on him when he was younger. It is so tragic when lose a tree. Thoughts and prayers for all the trees.
(Abbot sued, and got a $7.8 million settlement. Then when he became Gov, he changed the law, making it all but impossible for anyone else in a similar situation to receive just compensation. I have zero sympathy for him- saving it all for his victims.)

@lovendures something about A*Butt's story doesn't add up- he claims to be tested everyday, but he won't wear a mask. He also says he has had 3 doses of the vax, and yet now is receiving monoclonal antibodies, even tho he is "asymptomatic" . I smell BS.
The report about Abbott’s supposed booster shot came hours before the CDC formally announced Wednesday morning that the federal government is planning to offer and recommend booster shots to all Americans who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with either the two-shot Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
This needs to be investigated by the media. He must have magical unicorn powers.

@lovendures I'm happy to see that Biden has directed the Education Secretary to block governors from banning mask mandates in schools. I've been waiting for such an action. I'd been feeling last week that it is starting to look like time for the feds to intervene. I had visions in my head of Kennedy enforcing the desecration of their schools.

I was exposed to Covid at my summer, in person job. Although I had limited interaction with the infected person I am self isolating for 14 days. I am both terrified and furious. I sheltered in place for a whole year, double or triple masked every time I stepped out my door. EVERY time. And some numbskull went out unmasked and brought Covid directly into my life. Please pray for me. I do not want Covid, whether it is mild or not.
I am sorry Ghandigirl. Sending you peace and calm energy. I know you are frightened and upset, understandably so. I don't know if you will get covid, but I do believe you will be capable of rising to whatever situation is presented to you. I am glad you only had limited contact with them.
