@jeanne-mayell

     Is there an international weather forecasting site that is accurate?  I am not trusting current weather reports as it often feels much hotter than reported.

Michael Lewis (Liar's Poker, Moneyball and more) wrote an e-book about how private companies are using US gov. public data to create money-making weather forecasting companies, Accuweather being one example. However unfair it may be to use taxpayer funded research to create a service that we then eventually pay for, I vaguely recall he said they have improved some aspects of the final weather reports but I should double check.

The Coming Storm by Michael Lewis

Goodreads brief description includes this sentence.

"Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis…Weather can be deadly—especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain."

@raincloud I know that it is much hotter than posted where I am. A solar powered thermometer states it is at least five degrees higher.  Unsure about elsewhere.
