Things look quiet in Washington DC but I’m not sure why. (Baba) Predicted 1/22/25 for August 2025. bizarre-silence-takes-over-washington-dc-street-vendors-claim-business-is-worse-than-during-the-pandemic/- NewsBreak
In the Prediction Hits section, there was a hit found by @Lenor about @Baba 's prediction that it would be particularly quiet in Washington in August. Reading the accompanying newspaper article made me realize how absurdly politically divided it looks from a distance that the National Guard is patrolling predominantly Democratic cities with soldiers from predominantly Republican states. This hints at the underlying political tension of this situation. The situation of Republican military control in Democratic cities struck me as a subtle, belated continuation of some of the tensions originally stemming from the American Civil War, which was also marked by a deep political divide. As has been previously posted and discussed, the astrological Saturn/Pluto conjunction is currently in effect, often bringing deeper social upheaval for countries. I wanted to point out that in 1851, there was also a Saturn/Pluto conjunction (even though humans had not yet discovered Pluto). 1851 is considered the year in which the political conditions that eventually led to the American Civil War.
With respect, there is not a conjunction between Saturn and Pluto right now. Saturn is currently in Aries and Pluto is currently in Aquarius. In fact, they are forming a helpful sextile aspect. And, indeed, we're under the strongest influence of the minor grand trine from mid-August through mid-September. But we'll continue to feel this very beneficial influence through 2028, some astrologers say through 2029.
@gbs Thank you very much for your correction. Was it then the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction which I was referring to instead of the Pluto-Saturn conjunction? Could you maybe share your insights regarding the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction too, please - very much appreciated!
Not that it's Earth-shattering information, but I predict that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement will be short-lived and not lead to marriage. I saw an image of them on TV just now and the "nope" came into my brain sideways without conscious thought. I'm not much of a prophet, but when ideas come that way, they usually are accurate.
... I think of a strategic PR move with a message along the lines of: "See? Don't believe any of those rumors that I'm physically unwell or even worse. Such information is always just rumors. Never ever do believe it."
Apparently he emerged yesterday and the photos seem to be legit. What's telling is he took no questions and didn't speak to the press, which he usually does because he has to be the center of attention. So, IMO, something happened to him this past week, but who knows what. Taken together with Vance's odd statement about being ready to assume the presidency if tragedy struck, this is doubly telling. No way an otherwise healthy T would have allowed that comment to go unanswered (and unpunished).
I've been watching the morning news, and MSNBC is talking about Chicago. I'm getting an awful feeling about this. If there is going to be a violent clash between the occupying military and citizens, it's going to be in Chicago. Just as an aside, my grandmother, Esther, believed Chicago was cursed because of the amount of violence between natives and violence between the natives and the white settlers. It didn't stop us from staying there on our yearly railroad journey to Nevada to see family. We ended up there during the 1968 Democratic convention, which was totally wild!
@pamp If there's violence it'll be T's people instigating it, as a reason to ramp things up.
A thing about Chicago -- its residents LOVE their city. They have their own (beautiful) flag. I think all cities do but do you ever see any prominently displayed? I don't think they will take kindly to the invasion, but there's enough Midwestern niceness and common sense that I hope it won't escalate.
I'm holding Chicago in a bright space in my heart and hoping for the best. I have ties to the city, and IMO, it's the most beautiful city in the world. Probably why T wants to desecrate it with his nonsense. He tries to destroy anything that's beautiful. It's part of his mental and moral illness. He knows on a deep level that he is an odious and ugly human being (and I don't mean appearance), and he can't stand external beauty because it reminds him of everything he's not.
