Hey Folks, I've been feeling almost numb (or maybe not almost) by the whirlwind of recent events (firings, dangled pardons, the ending of PBS, goons gleefully arresting immigrants) that it's been too much to absorb. Last night I was lying in bed, and I asked my guides, "when will this get better?" (I may have asked "when will this end?" but I honestly can't remember. I was in the space between being awake and asleep, so I can't remember how I phrased the question.)
Immediately I saw the numbers "2027," and they looked like the way numbers look when they're associated with the promotion of a new year, like in merchandise, all flashy and big. I didn't get a feeling associated with it, no sense of relief or comfort, just the number. I also didn't get the sense that the bad stuff ends in 2027, just maybe that a corner is turned or, at the very least, that things start to improve.
I also didn't get the sense that "he's" done in 2027. So, either that happens or things just start getting better. How bad they get from now unit then is anyone's guess.
I'm interpreting what I got, and my interpretations could be wrong, but the actual number was a strong and immediate response to my question.
There will be a greater drop in tourism by international visitors next year than this one. I see a continuing downward trend in visitors coming to the US through 2028, like a descending arrow on a graph. I can’t see beyond that timeframe.
@gbs I was noticing over the last couple of weeks that it's been quieter than usual where I live. It took me a while to realize what it was - there are fewer airplanes going overhead! I'm about 20 minutes from an airport, so airplane noise is usually a constant. But it's noticably reduced. I don't know where the flights are coming from, but so far I wouldn't be surprised if this is a hit.
I remember someone saying that this period of time would feel like "evil has its heyday." They're right.
Not going to lie, I really don't want to be in the US right now. While I feel like this won't go as planned for one way or another, it's still so shocking to see how bad it's getting. My question is, does anyone see a point where the people behind this are brought to justice? And does anyone see a major, sudden breaking point?
@osyn1 Right now I only can say I fully agree with every single word you write and/or ask yourself. And I also have feelings of "being so shocked" as well as of "things will surprisingly not turn out the way it was promised on the next page of the 'How to Become an Autocrat' handbook". However, I have nothing more concrete right now than these feelings, sorry.
@joy I did see a lot of GOP voters starting to turn against their candidates. They're starting to wake up. I'm just scared that it will be too late. I don't know. We're watching true evil. I'm just not sure how this can be fixed.
@osyn1 I fully understand and feel for you. However, right now I still do not know either...
Yet Yoda would say:
Don't be scared and don't look at the evil, cause the evil looks back. Better wait in patience for more knowledge about the path of light.
And:
In a dark place we find ourselves, and a little more knowledge lights our way. — Yoda

I was reading some article on my phone virtue of Huffington Post, and it struck so true to me, I've posted the link here. It explains a LOT of the personality/power etc of our current Prez... almost like it was a case study, right down to the constant lying and cruelty. I found it a very informative and confirming article.
@classictravelr Throughout this extremely hot week in Berlin, water bottles, hats & sunscreen are being distributed free of charge to all the homeless people in Berlin, as much as they need and want, rather than ordering the military to chase them away or locking them up. They were interviewed and thus reported to the public that they feel okay on the streets during the heat with this support. The public was happy with this.
You know what?
The US was one of the most important democracies in teaching us in Germany to rediscover what humanity is after World War II, and we have been so very happy to find and rebuilt it again for and in our society. I am sure that your people will be very strong in keeping humanity and will very quickly rediscover it if lost. Despite of any kind of narcissism. I am really certain of this and send you all many hugs.
