I have been reflecting on this Bible verse during this past personally challenging week:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7
Don't be afraid. Focus the Creator-given power of your love.
While meditating, I asked if a spirit guide could help me. And I got an answer. This spirit first spoke to me in 2017, and I wrote it down. Recently, as the world has felt heavier and more uncertain, the same guide returned with the same message:
“People, there’s no need to worry. Change is happening. But you are safe—safer than you think.”
The spirit told me there are many enlightened beings working with us now. They’re helping people wake up—those who are ready. The awakening is happening in waves. As people receive messages, they’ll start guiding others.
This has been going on for decades, and now it’s your turn. You’ll awaken gradually. When things feel hard, you’ll grow. And when they get even harder, after a period of fear or worry, you’ll awaken more deeply.
We’re moving into a new era—an age of greater awareness. It’s like going through a birth canal. On the other side is more light, more clarity.
Spirit said you can raise your vibration by living in love and respect. When you’re in that space, you’ll be able to receive guidance.
“Treat each other with kindness and tenderness,” Spirit said. That’s how the guidance comes through.
“Listen to the earth around you.”
“Everything is alive—more than you realize.”
The rocks, the sand, the wind, the sky—they all have energy, awareness. Even the things in your home. The forests carry songs—of ancestors, of ancient ones who walked the land before us. The trees and wind are speaking, and they have wisdom to share.
You are part of this web—part of the forests, the oceans, the animals, and each other.
The Earth is going through changes. Spirit described it as adolescence. There will be eruptions—literal and metaphorical. More volcanoes, droughts, storms, earthquakes. But again, the message was:
“Don’t worry. You’ll get through it, just as you always have.”
Spirit then spoke of the U.S.:
“The U.S., as it used to be, is in decline,” they said. “But this decline is part of a necessary rebirth.”
“You’re in it—so move with it. Be part of the change, not the decline. You can witness what’s happening without being pulled down by it.”
“Be the change. Be a helper. Be a light.”
I asked, “But isn’t that decline inside of us, too?”
Spirit said, “Not if you don’t give it power.”
So live in the new world that’s already forming—beneath the surface of the old one. It’s there, like green shoots under dead leaves. Some people are already living in it. You can join them by focusing on love, honesty, community, and hope.

As there is much discussion about the situation in the USA, I'd like to take a moment to note that 'the country' began 250 years ago with the battles at Lexington and Concord, (MA) where the British commenced military movement against the colonist and were met by opposing forces, aka 'Minute Men'. It was the start of the American Revolution.
There have been celebrations over the weekend to mark the events 250 years ago, and it causes me to wonder what the future will bring. Many predictions about the future speak of democracy surviving in a process of re-birth . . . basically a re-set and fixing of what has gone wrong.
Reputational damage of the USA on the world stage is already and will continue to be significant, and I believe it to be a precipitating event that affects its top-level status.
