Winston Churchill is regularly in the media because of being so popular and famous - right now for penicillin and also for ottawa-man-sentenced-in-theft-of-iconic-winstonchurchill-portrait-from-chateau-laurier/
Still, I am awaiting some news which are quite relevant for the current situation in Europe and that has something to do with Churchill and the White Cliffs of Dover. I cannot get rid of the vision of these Cliffs, shining very brightly right now, as a symbol of current strength - hope - freedom. Churchill was one of the first politicians to call for the need for the United Staates of Europe. I mean, truly united and in partnership with the United Staates of America. And this "truly united" is just as relevant for the preservation of freedom in Europe as it was in Churchills time for restoration of freedom and peace. And the shining White Cliffs convey their message to this end.

@joy The White Cliffs of Dover could be that today is the anniversary of the Normandy Landing (D-Day). In which Churchill played a major role, and the White Cliffs of Dover did too, albeit indirectly, and turned the tide of WWII in Europe.
