@baba Thank you so much for your reply. I really hope you're right. I think it's maybe just me, but there's something about the current president's behaviour that's making things look a bit unstable and unpredictable. During and shortly after the Alaska meeting, it was almost as if the things he says and does are really like what we're hearing in the propaganda from Russia. I don't know if you heard about it, but yesterday at the meeting with Zelenskyy, he said in front of the cameras. "I love the Ukrainians!" and one second later: "And I love the Russians!" It is erratic to say this being a longterm ally of Europe right before a meeting with his European allies in the current situation. And the need to remember him again and again who he is usually an ally with and that of course he cannot have both right now, feels like hen-pecking in a very special way.
