I made this prediction in the Random Prediction thread at the end of June.
I am going to make a prediction about a fire, based upon a dream I had this morning.
The fire will start or be located near a place where people go to camp. Outdoor tent camping, cabin camping, family camping or child camping. It likely will be near some hills. It might be near some houses also. It spreads quickly and evacuations are needed. The location may be near a place which has Eucalyptus. Other things in the dream which may indicate a location ( but may be irrelevant and simply part of the dream) include Canada or California, or a destination where tourists might want to vacation ( out of the U.S or within).
Timeframe is soon.
* note, While I mentioned hills, the dream took place in a canyon formed from the hills.
IN the Random prediction thread I commented that except for the fire part, it could be a hit for the Texas floods, especially since all sorts of camping related things were impacted by the Texas disaster.
Well, here is a new unfortunate hit for my dream prediction.
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the famous Grand Canyon Lodge, the visitor center and 50-80 structures including cabins and campgrounds were lost to the Dragon Bravo fire.
This is so sad as the North Rim is just gorgeous and the lodge was truly historical and magnificent.

@lovendures Very sad indeed. I visited the North Rim and the Lodge with my family a few years ago. It is/was beautiful and so much more serene than the busy South Rim

@jeanne-mayell I was looking over predictions made in 2020 for this time period, and so many seem to be coming to pass, such as decentralization from the Fed'l gov't; more focus on local responsibility as Federal gov't is trying to close FEMA, Dept of Edu etc. It's going to be a rough ride, especially for states and towns prone to natural disasters. I expect FEMA came into being because of overwhelming disaster circumstances, like Katrina; there is no way a town or even state could financially recover without broader assistance. it seems we're going backwards, and not willing to help our fellow man.
