This came out in 2017-2018 based on historical authoritarian regimes and what to expect and how to survive and fight back and support each other during authoritism power take over attempts. Thought it may be helpful to anyone interested.

Wow! The link to that 2018 article on authoritarian regime tactics was a chilling eye-opener. It could have been written TODAY about this week and last month and... As a student of Western European history, I have been making some similar observations in a forum of my professional peers for many months. The loudest hostile R voices have become muted somewhat over the past few weeks. I'm hoping they are observing, paying attention, questioning, re-evaluating their 'truths'. Too many seem unreachable, with opinions set in stone, but perhaps here and there a chink in the mortar will allow some daylight of reason in.
@classictravelr yes it is eerily like today. The audio Q&A predictions that they just posted was very helpful too. (Thanks to those that did that.)
The Q & A predictions is not captioned. I would love to know what was said.
I just listened to the June Q & A audio and enjoyed the format. From the discussion, it looks like there is a 'ways' to go until the light shines upon a positive path forward, and it will be a tough fight.
In my mind a key factor will be that over half of the voting population (amounting to about 30% of the adult population) voted for this, knowingly or unknowingly. They are emotionally invested, they don't want to be wrong, and they will see only what they want to see. Hypocrisy will prevail as the 'anti-safety-net' people look for 'their' safety net.
I believe that the amount of conflicted emotion among many will slow the process of change . . . I see democracy prevailing in the end, but not by the margin that one would think it should. History will not look kindly upon these times.
The Q & A predictions is not captioned. I would love to know what was said.
I have posted a transcript now on the World Predictions Page for three of the four questions, just below the June Q&A audio recording. I will add the last question this weekend.
I found this tonight from the Alt National Park Service account. It appears that the No Kings day protests exceeded the 3.5% threshold by a significant margin:
I did not see your post until today, the BARD one! YAY for healing BARDs like you who help guide those in emotional pain into healthier "music of the mind." We need more like you, especially now. ❤️ 🌼 ❤️

Last night, after listening to Josh Groban's words about countering loss with growth, cruelty with compassion, and destruction with creation in his intro to The Jimmy.Awards, I then pulled a rune:
Wunjo (Joy, Light)
Reversed
"Things are slow in coming to fruition. The process of birth is long and arduous, and fears arise for the safety of the 'child' within. A crisis, a difficult passage--even if brief--is at hand.
Consideration and deliberation are called for. Ask yourself whether you possess the virtues of seriousness, sincerity, and emptiness; to possess them is to have tranquility, which is the ground for clarity, patience, and perseverance.
In times of crisis, joy reversed is a useful meditation." (Ralph Blum's words)
My heart still hurts. 💔 at the senate's passage of the big ugly betrayal bill. The astrologers are saying July and August will be horrific, but then it will get better and that this current configuration of the sky has some of the same transits and import as in 1776, the Civil War, WWII, and other times of "evil ascending" within humanity. I don't understand the tech of astrology, but I do believe in history.
Spirit says there can be no cleansing, no restructuring without de-structuring first, and that that is where we are, at this moment in Earth time. They impress on me that it is best to not build on the dregs of darkness but instead, we must first clear the ground of rubble and then create, on replenished Mother Earth, in, of and through Light, in order to hold the Wholeness, rather than merely the image, of democracy.
Our Founders were amazing. They were also products of their era and its flaws. That era's time is over. It is up to us --not merely to fix the flaws in the Constitution -- but to bring actual freedom for ALL into the foundation, the structure, and most importantly, the actuality of Democracy.
My heart still hurts, for we are in the midst of achingly cruel times, yet the Brightness of Spirit gives me hope. Faith wobbles, tears fall, but I have decided my tears are prisms, rainbowing out my grief. I'm going to trust there is a path through this governmental evil, this nightmare storm of hate and horror. I hold to the trust that Joy WILL come in the morning, though I cannot yet see "when."
I have a bright yellow mug that says:
OH JOY
A New Day
And Another
Chance
To Shine.
Everyone keep shining, especially through our tears. We won't go back. We won't give in. We WILL dissolve the dark and bring in a new dawn, a new day.
We are Light.
Namaste
This documentary shows a new way of living that fits a future some of us have seen long term. It's cooperative, rather than socialist or capitalist. It's already happening in some places and worth a look.
If it works, then it will begin to arise and then gradually people will make it fit the interconnected world that can thrive, like trees in a forest. It fits the kind of world my children could thrive in.

@earthangel Thank you so much! it is very important to read a variety of good and uplifting news.
Yay! I found more (on Threads not Instagram) From Benji Faun, the Good News Network from Old World Order to the New Earth
1. Dubuque, Iowa, is buzzing again.
The city banned mowing in May, turned lawns into native prairie, and saw monarchs return. After 20 years, the endangered rusty-patched bumble bee showed up too. Nature's not giving up. it just needed a little space. Life follows invitation.
2. The bugs are back in Britain.
Several UK farms banned pesticides.
Within 3 years, insect populations surged by 25%.
More birds, richer soil, and healthier food followed.
Turns out, less poison = more life.
3. The ozone layer is healing.
Because of the 1987 global ban on CFCs,
Earth’s protective shield could fully recover by 2040.
Proof that coordinated global action works And that humans can fix what they break. Sometimes we get it right.
1. ICJ declares climate duty
On July 23, 2025, the International Court of Justice ruled that countries have a legal duty to combat climate change and protect future generations. It reframed climate action as a human rights obligation under international law.
2. Renewable energy tipping point
In 2024, renewables made up 92.5% of new global power capacity. Solar became 41% cheaper and wind 53% cheaper than fossil fuels. Clean energy is no longer niche it’s dominant.
3. Record puffins on Skomer Island
In Wales, conservationists counted 43,626 puffins on Skomer Island the highest ever. It’s one of the few places this vulnerable species is thriving.
4. India hits climate goals early
India reached its 2030 target of 500 GW non-fossil electricity capacity in 2024 six years early. Clean power now makes up 44% of its energy mix, marking a huge shift in one of the world’s largest economies.
5. EU enacts Nature Restoration Law
The EU passed its first-ever continent-wide nature law, requiring restoration of 20% of land and sea by 2030 and full recovery of degraded ecosystems by 2050. A major legal win for biodiversity.
Attending non violent protests is joyful, therapeutic, and effective. This Saturday August 2 is another one planned in hundreds of locations. You will be in the company of like-minded happy people who are doing something about the dismantling of the democracy.
You can bring a sign or borrow one at the event or wave an American flag often provided at the event. It sends an important message that Americans are not just sitting back and accepting the dismantling of their democracy.
@earthangel it is so exciting to see how nature springs back in your own back yard or in your local schoolyards and parks when people add the plants that butterflies and moths need to produce caterpillars which are the essential bottom of the food chain.
We planted bee-balm plants and milkweed this summer and saw our first monarch butterfly in 25 years. We also attracted a little hummingbird and hoping to see more over time.
Monarchs are endangered due to widespread development and the eradication of milkweed on farmland. People are now planting milkweed in their gardens in hopes of bringing them back. It also helps to plant butterfly bush, which butterflies love. All need full sun.
People are also getting rid of their lawns in favor of native plants which host native insects that are the bottom of our food chain. It's a win-win. It's also so fun.
I am noticing milkweed and native plants popping up in school yards and public parks in our area -- people are planting them. We are going to need every hand on deck to restore what has been lost, and it needs to happen now while we can still turn it around.
