@unk-p ? ? ? ? ? YES!!!! I get that too!!! "Ok Journey.. you can stop rolling your eyes now" and "even if I were - we are on the phone and you can't see it" "Girl stop that!!! I could hear them slapping back against your skull!!!!" *sigh* at least they didn't toss me to floor like they did "The Chancellor" ? ? ? ? ?
I think I will be very sad if this is not true. I really had not intended to share a sales pitch for any device..
I love this so hard. I so want this to be true too! :-)
I love this presentation that came out if the recent COP26. The Urban Sequoia. It would be a wonderful place for a rooftop lounge!
Has anyone had a surprise party given for them where they were totally surprised? My husband gave me one years back, and it is shocking to walk into a place (it was a crowded restaurant) where you think you are going for dinner alone and then you walk totally confused into a room full of people who jump up and scream SURPRISE! It is with that memory in mind, that I watched the surprise moments of all surprise moments.
This man leads his totally unsuspecting gf on stage to a mega Adele concert. Like me, she doesn't take well to not understanding what is happening. But then the tears comes and the love is clear and beautiful.
this is what a 3000yr old giant sequoia sounds like .. wait for it.. in about 5 seconds the mighty tree speaks. I just love this..
Oh My .. Both my cat and dog have stopped what they are doing, walked over to me and my computer with there ears perked up and I now have there rapt attention.. stunning ...
Absolutely beautiful!
@deborah-carey Celestial...stunning!
@jeanne-mayell Hi, I did have a surprise 60th but I was in the laundry when my husband was on the phone with my sister organising and overheard. I think my surprised performance was worthy of an Oscar.
Having said that I am not a fan of these elaborate engagements, I think it’s more about the person doing the asking he/she is making it about how wonderful they are, look at me, look at me, see I am great. Backs the recipient into a corner, how can you say get lost with everyone looking on. I don’t think they are romantic, more a coercive action. If he had asked in private and as a romantic gesture took her to the Adele concert with her knowing and very happy about it and then got up on the stage for Adele to sing to them, it would be special for both of them and not an ambush.
Am I a cynic, bah humbug and all that or do I have a point.
Regards to all
@jeanne-mayell I had a surprise birthday party 18 months ago. I was really down from the start of the pandemic (I know - who wasn’t?) but my wife and my friends from my community theater troupe arranged one of those surprise parades by our house. They all came dressed in characters from plays and musicals. We all talked from a distance on my lawn for a time and it was the most wonderful surprise of my adult life.
Hi
Don’t know if it is of interest to you being teachers but apparently NSW education is changing their curriculum from 2022, it is the biggest change in 3 decades. (you don't want to rush these things)
If you want to have a browse.

Giving teachers what they need to make sure they can implement the new curriculum
Teachers want more time to teach core content in depth and to give students opportunities to apply skills, which builds depth of learning. When requirements are broad or unclear, students don’t have time for mastery or further learning. To stay engaged students need learning challenges that give the appropriate ‘stretch’ – too much and they disengage and fall behind; too little and they become bored, failing to reach their full learning potential. Teachers need a curriculum that provides flexibility to meet students where they are at with their learning.
