@jeanne-mayell I collaborated a little with a group working on Ginseng stories and culture  (I make flower essences); historically ginseng has been harvested and over-harvested where I live in the Ohio Valley - United Plant Savers here works on its conservation and the group was working at their botanical sanctuary.  They had a musical component with the ginseng plant. With electrodes that picked up the electrical charge/emissions of the plant leaves, then they somehow translated the electric signal into notes and then assigned musical sound to the notes.

The music was lovely! I think they took it to a symposium at the Smithsonian. I was interested, as flower essences carry the electrical pattern of flowers and I was wondering if the music might have similar effects...

I found this person who explains the process online: https://medium.com/predict/plants-making-music-whats-that-all-about-29e588946e2c

i signed up for Mary Trump's newsletter, and the 1st thing she sent was this Tracy Ullman video, on the importance of not rolling your eyes when asked a dumbshit question.  I needed this, because sometimes i roll my eyes so hard, people actually can hear it, like over the phone

@deetoo

Love you too dearest deetoo!

Put on your party hat and come on up, up an away with me. I sent you light and love at that last majestic full moon and made some of my magical holy water to bless you from afar. Next time you don't feel well join us in meditation anyway!

Just imagine me meditating in my lounge wear sprinkling faerie dust and holy water as I do my tonal chanting and levitating off the bed. (Far more realistic than the blacked out peg person that zoom default moderation settings shows so many of us to be!) ?

???

Up up and away

In my hot air balloon with built on umbrella!

@unk-p omg, lol, that was the best.

I am going to put Mary T's advice on the wall.  One of the worst side affects of rolling my eyes is that then I get paranoid that others are rolling their eyes at me. Mary Ann Williamson wrote in her book Return to Love that karma is not just that what you do will be done to you.  It's that even if it isn't done to you by someone else, you will believe it is being done to you. So you get it back in the worst way.

@unk-p @jeanne-mayell,

@unk-p, I'm howling at that video!  Gotta admit, I'm an eye roller.  My husband says the women in my family have perfected it.  Unfortunately I don't always know when I'm doing it -- like when my boss saw me roll my eyes with his ridiculous micro-managing.

But you know ... sometimes only an eye roll will do.  Sometimes an eye roll is the only thing that keeps me sane, especially in these times.

Is there such a thing as a "mindful" eye roll?

@deetoo

I saw her and sent her up and away. You caught her mid-air. Others did too. Shared visioning is the best!

@michele-b, I'm so glad that you posted!  I've missed you.  I'll always remember that you were one of the first community members who made me feel welcomed here -- a lot of it through mutual laughter.  Your open heart encouraged me to post more often.  Thank you, my friend.

Well, now I have something new to imagine during our meditations dear Michele.  hahaha. I love it!

I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall at your house one day.
