Battle of the bands...dog and cat version.
Stay Cats vs. 3 Dog Night?
Actually, I think there are more "bird" bands...
@lovendures ? ? ? ? ?
@lovendures I don’t get it but I like where you’re going with this . ?
@deborah-carey I love that story. And I see our story just like that one.
@lovendures I concur... The Eagles, The Yardbirds, The Black Crowes, Counting Crows ..and..can't forget.. The Fabulous Thunderbirds!!! From Steppenwolf to Pussy Cat Dolls ..I still think the bird bands outnumber them.

and don't forget that other "bird" band- The Byrds! Their song Turn! Turn! Turn! has 3000 year old lyrics, written by King Solomon, (maybe).
@unk-p *head smack*. Of course!!! Who could forget that one!!! I loved it! To everything turn, turn, turn.. there is a season..turn, turn, turn.... Hey! That is a great song for this times too! We are in a Season of Change for sure.
today my Mom turned me on to this choir group called Young@Heart. They were featured on one of her Sunday shows. And now, everything i had planned to do today will just have to wait until i listen to their entire archive. Everyone in this group is 75, or older. Here is their version of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, combined w Robert Browning's Pied Piper of Hamlin, and a young guest reinterpreting Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues, and The Hurricane:
Not sure exactly what the song is really about, but this section seems particularly relevant today-
Heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk-on part in the war
For a leading role in a cage?
here is another one by the Young@Heart choir- Fix You, by Coldplay. The lead, named Fred, was planning to do this song with his friend Bob, as a duet. But Bob died a week before this performance, so Fred did it as a tribute to him. So beautiful. https://youtu.be/G-e8LGMPTtE
