so cool to see that Joni Mitchell has joined Neil Young in removing her music from Spotify. People have been listening to Joni and Neil for over 50 years now. Will anyone, in say, the year 2072, still be listening to Joe Rogaine? Here is Joni Mitchell, Big Yellow Taxi because, "don't it always seem to go, don't know what you've got till it's gone"

Today is Lunar New Year and Imbolg (the first day of spring in the Celtic calendar). So to everyone, here's to new beginnings! 🥂Â
@coyote I never knew that about the Celtic calendar! Â I love learning all things Celtic!
The snow & ice are melting and while I'm really happy about that, it's a mess out there. We went for a walk with our white dog Rooney, and now her whole underside and legs are brown. Then I saw this cartoon.
This is a squirrel update. Â Remember we had a little squirrel appear in our living room during the storm? I think I told you that I surprised him while he was exploring the house because when I entered a room in the morning, I heard a loud clatter and then he whizzed past me at a speed faster than I have ever seen any creature move.
Anyway, the little guy had flown down the basement stairs and without breaking his run, whipped under the basement door.
The Internet told me he must have come in by accident because they mainly like to nest in attics. So I just needed to open a door to let him out.
But in my mind, I always kept seeing him entering the house through a basement wall. Â I couldn't get that thought out of my head, but still I did all the things they said to do.
We left a door open for him so he could exit the house. Â Then just in case he was still down there, Â we also set a squirrel-size havahart trap for him. Â I put a slab of peanut butter on a thick piece of orange peel the size of my palm, and placed it in the back of the trap, as directed. I tested the trap and there was no way any animal could get to that bait without tripping the trap door. I was very pleased that I had all bases covered.
For the next three days I checked the trap often, but no Mr. Squirrel. But then, upon closer examination, I realized that the bait was gone! Orange peel and all.Â
Furthermore, we found the orange peel in another part of the basement, sticking out of a crack in the wall about two feet from the floor. I guess the orange peel was too big to fit in the tunnel.Â
So that is probably the last of squirrel. Two points for squirrel. Two point for my third eye. 0 points for my confidence in my third eye. 0 points for Internet squirrel experts.Â
My Squirrel Update: Â A snowstorm sprung the trap but we think there may have only been two in the house because even that trap was out there for several days with nothing. Â I'm hopeful we got them all and I'll have to go around the house in the spring and see if I can determine where they got in and fill it with spray foam.
An Animals in the Basement Story: Â We're coming up on the four year (maybe five year) anniversary of an April snow storm in which a kitten materialized out of nowhere in our basement. Â She had obviously been abused before finding her way into a (now sealed) hole in our foundation but she absolutely loves the girls and my wife. Â Me...not quite as much. Â But - we called her Unexpected Basement Kitty at the vet for the first two visits because we weren't certain we were going to keep her and part of the final call was going to be whether or not she had any health issues that could spread to our other cat Newton. Â Living in a farmhouse as old as ours, you kind of have to have cats to catch the mice, and Newton (who was a year old at the time) had just lost his elderly companion. Â We finally settled on the name "Bailey" for the new girl cat, but when she does something naughty now we say "Unexpected Basement Kitty, don't make us put you back down there!" and she looks at us with "okay, okay, okay, fine." Â She is the BEST mouser. Â I'm glad she chose us, even though we didn't really have a say. Â
When we first worked to tame her, she'd basically be a possum while being held. Â She'd lay there and take anything you wanted to give her. Â Put her down next to you and she'd "pretend" to cuddle but actually slowly backed away and would then run and hide. Â The game became "Where's U.B.K. now?" she'll cuddle almost all of us now but as soon as a new person is in the house she hides and won't come out until they're gone.
Here's her at the vet that first fateful day. Â Fun fact, she really only got marginally bigger - she's still almost kitten sized as a full grown adult. Â Also pictured, twin the youngest.
Just a little humor to lighten your day. 😁
Â
I didn't see a thread for it, but the superrrr bowwwlllll is onnnn!
Maybe we will have more american football to watch in the future in the uk? I think there is definitely an audience for it - I include myself in that.
The earth is turning towards the sun and within 3.5 hours it will be 2-22-22. Whoa!  Okay.
Two is the number for the Priestess in the Tarot. Â For intuition.
The date 2/22/2022 adds up to a 3, the Empress, who is the Great Mother and represents the coming Matriarchal Age and the end of Kali Yuga, the era of darkness and the beginning of an Age of Light.
Putin is losing it.
Trump is melting into a puddle of pee like the Wicked Witch of the North.
I just counted that we had 700 bonified hits last year including a slew of hits from predictions we made in 2017.
@coyote is feeling better right now, stronger, he's getting care and expecting to get his surgery soon. @baba came to my class last night and in the sweetest possible voice explained to us how she does her predictions.
We are about to release a new set of predictions and they look good for the Midterms.
Just reread something Coyote posted in 2020 that blew my mind. https://www.jeannemayell.com/community/postid/18900/
It ends with a song that's going to be happily playing in my head for the rest of the night. Natalie Merchant's Kind and Generous
A week ago, I was thinking about this possibility. I swore I'd buy a generator, but did I? Â NOOOOOO, I did not. I had also planned to order a cord of wood, but did I? Â No Sir. I did not.Â
In my experience, when I think maybe i "should" go do something but then I either forget or get distracted before I can do it, that's the universe telling me "stop freaking out, you're going to be fine. This needs to happen (for x reason or reasons we can't really tell you right now), but trust us, you're going to be fine, and you'll wonder why you were worried at all"
Tgraff66, I remembered this post you made in January and you turned to be correct. We never needed the generator or the wood. So that is a great Intuition Tip you made! Â I collect Intuition Tips.Â
Hey Community, it is 2-22-22. Happy Twosdays. The color of this day is blue and the numerology of this day is an angel number.Â
It's a once in a lifetime date. So we should celebrate.Â
I have hung blue lights with 2-22-22 all over the roof top lounge.Â
First site I checked when I googled the date said this: itâs considered an angel number in numerology, or a number bearing a particular energy or universal message. In this case, the meaning of the date 2/22/22 is about connections and coming togetherânot just in one-on-one pairs, but among larger groups and communities, as well.

Â
Well I hope it doesn't matter that we consider todays date 22-02-2022 and where I am it is grey skies and thunderstorms, but in the spirit of coming together have been out with a Probus Group to a Marine Discovery Centre then to lunch at the pub across the street then I also went to the committee meeting for the group so definitely having connections all day. So I guess it fits the bill.
Regards to all
And somehow I have been put forward to join our city's urban forest commission. So how about an old Grandmother Cedar Tree for the rooftop, with Jeanne's blue lights!
@marigold Great idea, we are now thanks to you, a tree house rooftop lounge! Â But I will dim the lights to only what is necessary for people to see for safety, and the lights will only stay on while people are up here.Â
So we are now sitting near the top of an incredible Grandmother Tree. We love our grandmother tree. Â We also like seeing the Milky Way, so at this point, I will swap the lights for the dimmest, most tree friendly lights that turn on only when someone is up here and turn off when we leave.Â
@jeanne-mayell A Grandmother Cedar, the Milky Way above us on the treehouse rooftop lounge- goosebumps!
