I  know we're all exhausted by domestic and western world issues, but perhaps we can spare a little light and spiritual energy to the people of Myanmar and Thailand.   There at least 1600 people dead in Myanmar.  The situation is dire and bound to get worse (health-wise) as time goes on.  Let us pray for them and send cash if we can.  I'll try to find an online place where we can effectively donate.

I found a page (Charity Watch  https://blog.charitywatch.org/best-charities-aiding-victims-of-myanmar-earthquake/) with a list of some charities that are working to help the Myanmar earthquake victims.

I chose to donate to Doctors Without Borders, mainly because I am familiar with their work. ( https://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/) I'm sure there are other good ones. For example, World Food Kitchen is also on the list.  Feeding people can do nothing but help.

Anything will help, no matter how small.  And prayers and good vibes to the rescuers and the quake victims can always help.

Hi all,

I've recently been in hospital again, but this time for a special type of CT myelogram to look at my spinal problems associated with a CSF leak that I've had for many years. All previous treatment has failed, and although my doctors have isolated to a suspect area in the spine, they still haven't been able to visualise the leak properly or treat it successfully with a targeted blood patch.

This is all going on in addition to my venous problems that I was in hospital for earlier this year and my gastrointestinal problems.

The key part of treating my CSF leak symptoms is improving my quality of life and allowing me to function more out of bed. Sadly, I'm now down 5 blood patches and 3 myelograms later with no improvement or answers.

I haven't yet had the results for my recent CT myelogram because it has to be carefully reviewed. This time when they were looking they were looking for a CSF-venous fistula, which I'm told might explain the difficulty in locating and treating the CSF leak. This is because the CSF is being diverted into an abnormal venous connection rather than simply leaking into the epidural space.

If they are able to find the fistula, the treatment is actually more successful than normal CSF leaks, since they can embolize the fistula and stop it diverting CSF, which is quite minimally invasive. My main worry is that they don't find one, and I'm either back to square one, or I'm told I'm going to need spinal surgery. I just don't think my body can take anymore invasive procedures.

I've been back at home only a few days, and I'm still suffering from the myelogram procedure since they have had to do a lumbar puncture to inject contrast into the spine to evaluate it thoroughly. So at the moment, I have a lumbar puncture headache on top of my normal CSF leak symptoms, and it has been hell.

My mood has been all over the place lately, because I just don't know how much more I can physically go through before I'm going to feel better. I try my best to remain positive, but after the last 6 months I've been through, I just don't know what to think.

Oh, Luminous, I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave over your body and fix it with a swish!

I hope it is okay to recommend this but after your headache subsides, check out Tina Zion's books on intuitive healing. She is kind, experienced, and solid (not about ego). Her last book focuses on healing oneself instead of others. She writes clearly and gives one steps to take. She also has a nursing background and takes an integrated approach.

Meanwhile, I will picture your cerebral spinal fluid flowing freely within its proper boundaries.

I have now been told the results. They found no leak or fistula. They wanted to book me for another myelogram to do the second half of my spine, but I told them no for now. I am just so exhausted from from all of this. To say I feel devastated is an understatement.
