My mom has been sick for a few days, and I started feeling it last night. I did a covid test, and yep...positive. Mom has never been vaccinated, and it's been too long since I got the last one, so yeah, just have to deal with it. Of course, mom insists it's not really covid, just a bad cold with bronchitis, in spite of my positive test. Anyway, at the moment, it just feels like a bad cold or flu, but any good thoughts or healing energy would be appreciated for both of us.
@tgraf66 Will she take Pavlovid? That was the go-to anti-viral before the vaccine came out, and is still important for knocking it out quickly. She'd have to go to a primary care doc or an urgent care facility where a nurse practitioner or PA would prescribe it. But she should take it asap before the virus takes hold. There is some controversy that while it knocks covid down quickly, the virus can return soon after and last longer. I do not know if this side effect is evidence-based or simply some primary care doctors' hypothesis.
@jeanne-mayell No, she's already been sick for four days, and me for two, so I'm not sure it would do any good at this point. She's also adamant that covid isn't dangerous, it's just another flu-like thing, and since she refuses to get tested (and doesn't trust home tests), we don't "know" for certain that she has it. I'm sure she does because that's the only way I would have gotten it because I rarely leave the house and she's off doing something somewhere pretty much every day.

His sister just had a heart attack and wasn't breathing when paramedics came take her to the hospital. She lives across the street for Unk-p and is the caregiver for his great nephew who lost his mom to cancer just few years ago.
He would appreciate prayers and is grateful for them.
