@lovendures. Oh man, I just watched the film about his life, and how he was trying to make a comeback.  Will send prayers.

I hope its OK to request a prayer for a pet here.  I've spent most of the day today at the vet's office. My cat is 13 years old and is one of the best comforting spirits I have ever known. I've been through some serious health issues in the last several years and she has been this little light of pure love through all of it. In the last few days, she has been having a lot of difficulty...not eating, having trouble with bathroom and constantly sick. Our regular vet was booked up and it took part of the day just getting someone who could fit her in. We had to go a few cities south and she does not like traveling in the car so that was traumatic for us and her. It was also really hard due to covid stuff not being able to be with her during the exams and tests. We have her back now on a 24 hour watch to see if the treatments helped or if she needs more. I've been saying prayers for what is best for her to happen. So if you don't mind, I would greatly greatly appreciate any healing or peaceful prayers for her.  I don't know how things will turn out for her but I just want what will be the best for her. She is someone really special and is a big big part of my family.

@liln22 totally understand how you feel ❤️ about your cat, and i will be praying for her.  Please keep us posted on her progress.

@lovendures @jeanne-mayell this may sound harsh, but i have to say it: i will pray for Tiger Woods to become a more conscious person.  I don't care whether he ever plays golf again, and can't understand why his car crash is national news.  Sports in general are a negative influence, because of the emphasis on competition, vs. cooperation.  Golf, in particular, has been disastrous for the environment,  as well as being a favorite pastime of highly negative people.  When Mr. Woods accepted the (now debased) Presidential Medal of Freedom, he chose to place himself in the same company as war criminals, mass murderers, and Rush Limbaugh.  Tiger had as much "freedom" to refuse  the shiny object being passed out by that Fascist as Dolly Parton did.  And she did refuse it. Twice.

@jeanne-mayell- if you feel this post is inappropriate for this thread, then pls delete it

@unk-p, no worries. I watched the Tiger Movie, and that's the extent of my Tiger knowledge. He always looked like a tortured soul to me, even when he was able to perform like the gods.

@liln22  I am praying for your kitty. I know how painful it is when a pet is sick.  @unk-p helped me through the most painful pet issue I've ever had and I will always be grateful to him for that.  I hope my prayers will help you and your sweet spirit kitty.  I see the vet handled her with great tenderness and she knows you love her.

@unk-p

No problem Unk.

I agree with you on the environmental damages from golf courses. I am not a fan.

 Our culture trends to idolize people which is a shame and we build them up into something they are not. At the same time it is difficult to live your life under a microscope for the world to observe with every mistake you make a wide open book.

I would not wish the type of accident he had upon anyone.   It is national news because he is one of the greatest golf players of all time, like him or not.  Also, it is a year from what happened to Kobe and people worried he might have had the same fate.

I wish him a full recovery and hope he will not be in the type of pain he has dealt with  for many years.

@liln22, I am so sorry. I can imagine the stress you must have felt seeing her ill and then having to find someone to care. The traveling only makes the situation worse for you and her.

I'm sitting here now sending her as much love and healing as I can. Do you have a picture or a description of her? I'd love to know more about this precious soul. ❤️ I understand the intense bond you can share with a loved one that isn't human. It is just as important.

@unk-p, I agree. I do not wish him harm, but it seems he is not the best of humans. I remember when his affair came out and the impact it had on his wife. It was so public and humiliating. He always seems uncaring of other people. Then again, power and wealth corrupts, or so they say. I hope he has or will learn to be a better man.

@ lovendures, I feel the same way as you do about Tiger Woods and about golf courses. And I realize that when I wish people ill, I am in a mental space of pushing back upon events, policies, behaviors that have hurt me or others.  It's difficult to see my subjective response when I am in  in that space.  It's a battle we are having within ourselves. But when someone is suffering, especially someone who has apologized for his behavior and accepted blame, I wish them healing. I wish him to heal and not to suffer.

@liln22, Prayers for you cat. I know how much our "furry kids" mean to us (and how much we mean to them for that matter). We have worked with an animal communicator named Terri O'Hara in the past and she has been able to give us some wonderful and comforting insights.

@jeanne-mayell @lovendures  i hope i didn't come across as wishing anyone ill.  I want him to recover and be well, just as much as i do for all of the thousands of other people who had accidents that day.
