I'm watching the debates because I strongly feel T. is afraid of Biden. I want to see how differently he acts than he did last time with a woman he wanted to intimidate.

I had to abandon ship and watch the Yankees game. What a downer show so I look forward to you guys' posts who could guts it out. I still have my candle going and sent Joe an email earlier letting him know our meditation group was lighting candles for him so he could shine his light but Trump is just too much of a dark force to deal with. Joe has my sympathy and even more support.
@debbie-m. I also had to quit out. I was attending a zoom debate party of local friends, thinking they'd give me strength to watch so I could be there for Biden. But I couldn't take the bullying, the derision, gaslighting, and of course the lies. I closed my eyes and sent light to Biden but my heart was pounding and I felt so agitated and upset in the presence of the monster that I had to leave.
I also found Wallace annoyingly partisan. True he is not the worst of Fox, but he is still Fox and I saw absurd tolerance for Trump and attitude towards Biden. It also bugs me that they don't have a mute button for debaters who interrupt the way T does. I loved it when Biden said, would you shush up? So kind to say "shush". But I prayed for Biden as much as I could even though my heart was pounding through it.
@jeanne mayell I don't intend to watch anymore debates as I have decided not to waste any more time giving Trump attention. I will read the news but I don't want to see his face or hear his voice anymore. I totally agree about Wallace. He was a terrible moderator and let Trump take control. I thought Biden did a brilliant job of not losing it. How does anyone hold a real conversation with a bully. He should refuse to participate in any more debates. What is the point? Biden is going to win bigly!
I am not sure the word Joe used was "shush". I actually liked hearing Biden in this moment.
This was not a debate. Trump was a bully and there was no one there to give him a consequence. If it was a hockey game, Trump would have spent the debate in the penalty box.
I totally wish this was on Zoom so a mute button could have beee used.
Wallace was in over his head. The circus came to town and there was no ring master, just an announcer.
My husband and I prayed and meditated when the debate began. I didn't watch the debate, but did watch the post-analysis. Just hearing about it deeply saddened me. @jeanne-mayell, I heard tonight that the moderator could use a mute button IF both debate parties agree to it beforehand. Do you believe that nonsense? As if a deranged narcissist would agree to something like that. They are the rules of a civilized society, which sadly no longer apply as long as T is in office.
@jeanne-mayell, you mentioned twice that your heart was pounding. Didn't you say something like that in one of your predictions?
