I'm no expert either, so I have to go on my gut feeling and interpretation in relation to current events. I hesitate to mix tropical with astronomical positioning because it can seriously throw off any interpretation, so I will stick with the standard astrological positioning. Since I don't have a lot of space to type out my book ( ? ) I'll just say that the Orange One is a Gemini sun, so the Geminid shower (coming in from the tropical sign of Gemini) to me is a symbolic representation of him crashing and burning.
Meteor showers are the result of the Earth passing through the stream of debris left by a comet. Thus, they have the same type of energy effect as a comet, although fairly diminished. Comets are harbingers of change, upheaval and rebirth, so the energy of the meteor shower is similar. I get the feeling that, more than anything, the Geminid shower is acting as a kind of energy force multiplier for all the many other major astrological events happening right now.
@tesseract thank you. I found this article in which the gentleman says he doesn't think D's will win both seats. If so, we're in for what I predicted earlier: Senate stonewalling for two years.
I do know every time I think about that election I feel relieved not sick so I am going to keep on trusting that blue wins. But even beyond that, I keep getting that the entire Senate is going to be sanitized in more ways than one...and mm is one of those germs that gets cleaned up and out. How, why when, I don't know, nothing logically infers that, but that something is in the works that will transmute mm's brutal betrayal of the American people and call him to account by those beyond us, and him. He calls himself the Grim Reaper.... one must be careful what one wishes for....or calls oneself. I think karma reaches for him.
As I have said many times, I am not a professional astrologer, and most of what I know and write about it comes from my study of it as a hobby for the last 30 years. Having said that, these are my astrological musings over the last few days. I will be posting this in parts because of the character limit restraints.
Part 1 :
Much has been said pretty much everywhere about the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter this week, but I wanted to tap the brakes just a bit - as is my Capricorn wont ?. Yes, it can herald good things, but as a native of Saturn's rulership, I feel it prudent to remind everyone that 1) nothing changes overnight, 2) not all change is good for everyone, and 3) there may be a lot of unpleasant consequences before we get to the promised land.
First, while Aquarius is the sign of egalitarianism and fairness, it is not the sign of justice. Saturn is co-ruler of Aquarius though, and given that Saturn is also the ruler of the true sign of Justice - Capricorn - some of that influence will be brought to bear. The primary ruler of Aquarius is, of course, Uranus, which is the planet known for sudden, almost instantaneous "lightning strikes" of very often radical change. While the evidence against the perpetrators of many things that happened over the last four years may be suddenly (Uranus) revealed (Pluto - yes, he's in this mix too!), we cannot and should not expect instant karma, instant healing, instant recovery, or instant anything else.
Saturn being what it is and what it represents, the wheels of justice will grind slowly. We will be forced to confront the consequences of not just the recent actions and problems, but all of the past actions as a nation and society that are exposed (Pluto again!) as well in order to correct and rebuild things better than they were. There may be Uranian "two steps forward", but true to the nature of Saturn, there will also be a lot of "one step back". Much of it will be slow, difficult, and perhaps painful in some ways, and there will be setbacks along the way. Saturn, however, will also ensure that as we rebuild, we will be doing so on a solid foundation of both justice and fairness.
Despite what some may believe, Aquarius is also not the sign of spirituality, at least not publicly. That, along with publicly displayed religion (not the same thing) is the domain of Pisces, whose influence we are leaving. This doesn't mean we're leaving spirituality behind. It just means that it won't have as much of an overt and open public influence on our lives and nation.
Aquarius will allow anyone to believe whatever they like and it will not enforce any beliefs on anyone. While those are good things and certainly in keeping with the First Amendment, the other side of that coin is that it will also not support or kowtow to any specific belief. Aquarius being an Air sign means that it is a sign that honors and exalts knowledge and equality above all else, and since science and technology fall squarely in its domain, those will be the criteria for determining fairness instead of religious belief. In other words, anyone can believe anything they want, but science, knowledge and technology will almost always take precedence over everything else.
Part 2:
In our current situation, that will be a good thing. As science (Aquarius) takes the helm from belief (Pisces), we will begin to move forward at some speed with having the methods and materials to get the pandemic under control. The scientifically "instant" speed (Uranus) of the development of the vaccine has helped, obviously, but the structures and logistics (Saturn) for delivering the vaccine are not yet completely in place. Things will slow down a good bit on the vaccination front while Saturn works to provide those necessary physical things.
Looking more toward the future, however, Aquarius tends to follow the path of science wherever it leads almost to the exclusion of all else. As the Jurassic Park movies tried to teach us, science (knowledge) solely for the sake of science can be disastrous. This is where the Saturn influence must again come in. As was stated in those movies, we must not only consider whether we can do something, we must decide whether we should do whatever it may be. We will need to slow our roll and very carefully consider all of the ramifications of any action. If we don't, Saturn will ensure that we are subject to the consequences of our actions.
One thing that may cause a great deal of consternation - in the US, at least - will be the waning and eventual elimination of the influence of religious thought/belief in government and the public sector. Religious beliefs may be tolerated in public discourse but will not ultimately be considered when decisions are made. You don't want your kid to be taught subjects X, Y, or Z in school? Tough beans, you and your church don't get to decide that anymore. Aquarius will equip your children with all of the real, factual knowledge they need to be functional adults, regardless of your thoughts on the matter. You don't want to do business with the LGBT community because of your beliefs? Sorry, this is public business, and for the good of everyone, you will be required to. Believe whatever you want and worship however you want in the privacy of your homes and churches, but when it comes to dealing with the real world of commerce and government, your beliefs have no power here. Religion will have a much less influential seat at the table in the government and public sector, and the United States will finally begin to put religion in its proper place as a private matter.
So where is Jupiter in all this? Jupiter wants to increase and expand everything as much as it can everywhere it can, but its influence in this is short-lived initially. Although the conjunction has been building for some time, the opening effects of Jupiter's transit through the conjunction will only last about two weeks. That's really all that's needed, though. Jupiter's job was to overcome the inertia of Saturn and get the ball rolling toward progress and expansive change, and we're beginning to see that movement now.
Part 3:
Unfortunately, change always comes with a price, particularly where Saturn is involved. At times that price is the seeming hindrance of progress, but the reality is that we are not completely ready for the total Aquarian influence. Now that Saturn is finally on board, its job to get us up to speed and build a strong foundation for the future. That may mean that some plans or ideas get delayed or even completely shot down at first, but only because we and/or the system are not ready or equipped to implement the ideas and changes just yet.
The first order of business is to stabilize, and the weight of Saturn will do that. There won't be much movement until that happens, so I'm not expecting too much for the next few months. There are also still roadblocks to clear in the government (removing the Orange One and other recalcitrant congress critters) before any real movement will be seen. There will be some immediate effects, but the majority of that process may take a couple of years. Progress will be slow at first, and smaller roadblocks will be an ongoing theme for at least the next 12 years. In addition, to get us and the system ready, Saturn must first "clear the decks" and deal with a lot of baggage from the past. Part of that clearing the decks is dealing with the effects of the first Pluto return in the US chart.
For the last 245 years, the US has plowed forward in its progress, doing some less-than-good things in service of that progress. The government and other public entities have buried and/or hidden a lot of very nasty stuff that went on behind the scenes to keep it off the radar and make themselves look good, and for the most part they were successful. However, with the Pluto return, the things that have been done in the past are now starting to surface, and the stench of 245 years of buried garbage is catching the attention of the public.
Before any real progress can be made, this garbage must be laid bare for all to see, and the perpetrators or their benefitting successors must be dealt with where possible. Exposing all of that - or at least as much as we can - will take the next three years at least. Once it's all out there and we can look at it, Saturn's focus on justice and consequences will make itself felt very strongly. It's likely that over the following four years there will be some major changes in how government works in terms of accountability - a very Saturnian thing - and transparency to avoid burying anything else in the Plutonic crypt that is now beginning to open. Some of those changes may involve completely restructuring/clarifying some parts of the US Constitution and adding other provisions to ensure that 1) it doesn't happen again, and 2) that fairness and justice are served on an ongoing basis rather than in hindsight.
Part 4:
A word of caution about Aquarius: it is a "fixed" sign, meaning that once it makes a decision about something (which, being an Air sign, might take some time!), whatever it decides is the correct course of action is set in stone and is rigidly adhered to regardless of circumstances. Like Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio, once Aquarius comes to a conclusion - right or wrong - it is virtually impossible to change its mind short of completely destroying it, and even then, it will still insist that it was right all along. Saturn, too, can be rigid, especially about adherence to rules, regulations, and consequences, so having Saturn in Aquarius can be very stifling and restrictive on anything perceived to be outside the "acceptable" established norms. That doesn't mean that people will be excluded from fully participating in society. Aquarius will be inclusive almost to the extreme; however, we will likely see a gradual increase in regulation of our daily lives over the next several years to comply with the dictated inclusiveness paradigm.
Given all that could be going on over the next three or four years, it would seem that Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris will have quite the job to do to clean up the past and lay a proper and firm foundation for the future. They will be criticized, vilified, and practically pilloried for doing the things that need to be done, but we must ensure that they and their successors remain on target and on the path to the brighter future that can be in store for us.
Wow. It almost sounds like a second Enlightenment and Age of Reason is ahead.
Thank you for sharing this amazing information!
