As for the spiritual interpretations for quakes, I believe in spiritual impacts, but there are scientific explanations about the impact of climate change on earthquakes. The warming expanding seas are placing heavier weight in the earth’s crust which affects vulnerable spots.
Landslides onto underwater fault lines from flood-saturated mountains were linked to the Haitian earthquake.
In short, the surface of the earth is shifting rapidly (rapidly in geologic time) due to climate change. The earth has massive amounts of heat suddenly (again suddenly in geologic time) being exerted upon it. Something has got to give.

Just want to clarify that I do believe in the spiritual impacts of humans on the earth. And I feel the earth is an organism that reacts to us and we to it, and that consciousness has real effects as well. It's my belief and doesn't have to be anyone else's. But that said, there are also some physical explanations linking human activity and earthquakes.

I personally have not been getting anything about quakes but for the last few weeks I have been feeling Gaia is restless and antsy. Yesterday the heat was so intense here outside of Boston that at a nearby pool club, they would not let us do laps in the water because the water was too hot. That has never happened as far as I know. Then we had a thunderstorm that was so intense that a little brook next to my house Quintupled in size and overflowed it’s banks in a couple of hours.
It all feels strange and a little unsettling.
Jeanne, I have noticed that in the Phoenix area, there have been continuous days of breezy/windy weather. About 4 months of breeze. Rare is the day without a breeze or strong wind. I don't remember having so many windy days this time of year. Lots of dust too. I am constantly sweeping up leaves. This is not normal. Monsoons start around now, that is normal. But continuous wind and leaf dropping, not normal.
Regarding earthquakes, the people on this site have predicted many, especially for this fall. I believe it will be a busy time from now through that fall period. And of course it is hurricane season too.

Regarding the flooding I noticed Sunday after a rainstorm, Washington D.C. saw some even more intense and strange flooding too this week when they got a month's worth of rain in one hour.

I think it was Laura F. who introduced me to Dutchsinse's site quite a while back. It's apparent that his explanations are controversial, but he's very good at providing evidence that the pattern of faulting has changed because of human interference: puncturing the earth through geothermal operations, fracking, mining, and oil drilling. He also presents overwhelming evidence that energy transfer occurs across the globe.
I noticed Jeanne predicted devastating earthquakes in the Midwest. As a Midwesterner living relatively near the New Madrid, who watches Dutchsinse's reporting from St. Louis, it does seem that when large quakes occur on the West Coast, the energy transfers across the country and seeks release in fault lines, but those fault lines have changed because of heavy fracking in Oklahoma and Kansas, sparing catastrophic movement in the New Madrid. The patterns of energy transfer are no longer consistent with historic geologic data.
I recently drove down I-35 through Kansas and Oklahoma. There wasn’t any lodging to be had because hotels and motels were accommodating people who had lost their homes due to massive flooding, so brightly lit areas of truck stops were packed with women drivers of all ages, white and Latin American, with loved ones sleeping in their vehicles. The only motel we could find that offered us a room said that it would be an hour before a woman finished up her business and they could pull the sheets. We tried sleeping in the car, but it was too hot to breathe, and so we kept driving. All of this is to say that environmental devastation wrought by humans murdering the Native population, stripping the prairie of its grasses and soil, drilling, fracking, depleting aquifers, polluting, and changing the climate has created a Babylon in a region of the country that has been critical to food production. It’s ruined, and it feels cursed. God only knows what the weight of land that it is either heavily flooded or parched is going to do to the changing pattern of faulting.
Predictions of massive migrations from hot cities to rural areas is going to be much more problematic than people think, because many rural areas are rapidly becoming uninhabitable.
