Astrology never made sense to me until this reading by Edgar Cayce.

"Astrological urges are not existent because of the position of the sun, moon or any planet at the time of birth, but rather because the individual soul is a part of the Universal Consciousness and has lived in those environments."

Anyone have any info to share about the first time ever blood moon total lunar eclipse occurring on November the 8th 2022 midterm elections here in the USA?

https://www.almanac.com/total-lunar-eclipse-blood-moon-november

polls open at 7:00am and the eclipse will nearly over "The Moon will enter the penumbra at 3:01 A.M. ESTon November 8 (12:01 A.M. PST) and leave it at 8:58 A.M. EST (5:58 A.M. PST)."

@journeywithme2

Not only will there be a lunar eclipse, which often plays out as a culmination or ending over the six months after the eclipse date, but Uranus–planet of disruption, the unpredictable, sudden change–will play a crucial role. That's a lot of astro energy for an election day!

Based on this configuration, I predict that there will be one or more upsets in the election results and that women will have an important part in the surprises. (The Moon, representing women, will be conjunct Uranus.) I also think there will be disruptions to the election process (perhaps long lines, or close contests that trigger recounts, etc.).

More intense astro: There will be another peak in the US Pluto return (discussed in another thread, I believe) on December 28. My take on it is that this particular peak of the US Pluto return will be where we begin to heal the poisons that have sickened our country. I think Trump will be indicted in the 4-6 weeks leading up to or after 12/28, which will be part of beginning the healing process by holding him accountable for his illegal actions. Note: I don't feel this at the intuitional level, but rather my prediction is based on the US Pluto return and a number of harsh transits in Trump's personal chart that occur around that time and beyond.

@gbs Thank you for your response and sharing your knowledge. I am not too very familiar with astrology other than the bare basics. Being an Intuitive Empath I have focused my learning on that .... but.. did want to see if the astrological portends aligned with my feelings and meditative info ... and.. they do.

I feel there will be a great rising of women... of all ages... going to the polls and doing whatever it takes to get to place their ballot and have their voices heard. I believe here in my sector that there will be brief , quickly quelled violence by some of the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys etc .. all responding to the dog whistles being blown now by the GQP'rs.

Many of my like minded friends and acquaintances , have, like I.... already voted. We also continue to do all we can to get the vote out ..making sure everyone knows just how important this election is.

I do feel the tide turning so to speak... those ill winds still blow wildly ... but many have shut the door to their entry now.

Mars turns direct tomorrow, Jan 12th. 3:56pm est. This is a positive aspect. I'm already noticing it. Mars rules our energy flow, among other things. A big energy release. A lot of frustrations, which have been intensified by Mercury retro, will ease some. Mars is powerful, so if it's intense for you, please be kind to yourself. Just know it's a positive moving forward.

I know that the shift towards a matriarchical society is underway, and there is a rather intense scorpio-taurus square, and I wanted to encourage the ladies on here to keep in mind that with power comes responsibility, and toxic positivity and toxic femininity are best avoided if we are to step into any power position with grace.  I would also like to add that we should really avoid abuse of power in any form and check ourselves thoroughly first.

@anya The edit option is available at the bottom right hand of your comment after you have posted it, but only for a minute or two, then it goes away.

@lenor So, in other words, according to Cayce, astrological urges are not to be applied individually, but understood broadly among the universal consciousness of all souls. Do i have his meaning right?

@lowtide Since you're knowledgeable about the posting functions, I have a basic question -- how do I initiate a new post? So far, I've only been able to respond to existing posts. Thanks in advance for any help!

@kathleen I don't really know, unless you start a new thread. I only really know the edit function because I make a lot of mistakes! 😆

@kathleen if you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see "Leave a reply". Whatever you post there will be added as a general reply to the thread/topic, not to a specific person. If you'd like to start a new thread/topic, it's a little more involved, but I'll be happy to help you with that if needed.

@tgraf66 Thanks for your help! I know how to reply to an existing message, but not how to start a new topic. If you don't mind giving me some instructions on initiating a new thread, I'd be appreciative.

Just read that the April solar eclipse moves from Texas to Washington DC. Eclipses are felt up to 6 wks before and after. Hmmmmmmmm…
