Temporary Inability to Read the Future

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing a temporary inability to read the future. I can't tell if it's just built up exhaustion from the past 4 years, or my higher self encouraging me to enjoy the present and stop worrying about the future haha or something I am not supposed to see, like I can't handle it yet.

I started noticing it during the Sept 2020 Read the Future Night. I couldn't get past a certain time period. My body just shut down and got really tired. Then for the February 2021 RTF night I couldn't read anything at all--same tiredness. And lately, even a pendulum reveals very little and just sits there and shakes rather than the normal rotation or swinging motion.

Anyone else experiencing this now or has in the past?

@Melissa. I love your question.  Just love it. So many possibilities for why this happened:

1. built up exhaustion from the past 4 years, or

2. My higher self encouraging me to enjoy the present and stop worrying about the future

3. Too much in your head and a need to clear it out. Rest. Spend time in nature.

4. Too much reading news or other mental work that clogs the mind.

5. Don't think it's something too awful for you to see. When that happens, I get wavy lines or indications that something is coming that is so different that I don't have a place in my psyche to understand it.

6. Most likely:  your psyche is encouraging you to discover other forms of intuition that you are using but aren't aware of. When I taught the last series of The Intuitive Way, I asked everyone to write down all the ways they have learned they are intuitive.  I was surprised at all the answers. We have a lot of intuition that's working all the time that we are oblivious to!

@jeanne-mayell thank you so much and loving your answer. And really drawn to Door #6. Now that you brought that to my attention, that seems right.

I have noticed my manifesting skills are pretty fired up right now. Or maybe that's not even the best way to describe it. More like being in the flow. Like I'm the one standing still and all sorts of people and experiences flow into my awareness at the perfect time. And I do my part at my appointed time. Like we're a big orchestra. And even if someone just plays the triangle and not the violin, it's crucial for that moment.

And maybe that was always happening before, but now I can hear the full orchestra, so to speak, and not just my part.

Thank you so much for helping me appreciate what I'm experiencing. ?

I love your description! It comes and goes for me, but "flow" describes it perfectly. I am an artist and have often gotten into flow when creating. Intuition is much like that. I took Jeanne's Intuitive Way class last year at this time and have since learned a lot about how flow works when doing readings with Tarot. I have to be calm, open, but focused, and not too preoccupied with other things. It is indeed how you described it - open, but still, things flowing all around you and doing your thing. If I am too tense or trying to hard, it doesn't work. The way @jeanne-mayell instructs us during the Circle of Light (breathing, etc.) really helps.

@melissa. I know exactly what you’re talking about.  There have definitely been times when I have doubted my intuition, but when I remember some amazing intuitive experiences, it reassures me.  When I read for someone or look at the future for a friend, the intuition just flows.  It always helps to have a target and it always helps to meditate.  Read the Future night exercise can be tricky.  Sometimes I just get a blank for a certain month or year.  So I write blank and move on to the next.  Some participants prefer to get the recording from Jeanne and do the practice by themselves rather than in the group.

I love your description of the intuitive orchestra.  What a beautiful thought.

@melissa, I'm so glad you addressed this issue.  I think for me it's a combination of things.  Like many of you I am really exhausted from the past few years.  Recently I've been thinking that maybe I don't need to see the future right now; maybe I just need to let go and trust.  As @jeanne-mayell stated, that I stop worrying about the future.  As @cc21 mentioned, I also sometimes try too hard and it gets in my own way, rather than letting go and just be.  I have strong intuitive gifts and if I'm meant to see, hear or sense something, I trust that I will.  I just need to effortlessly allow space for it in my life.

Regarding RTF night:  I'm usually anxious when I participate and find that I do better when I use the tape and do it on my own.  There's something about my sensitivity to the group energy, combined with a strange performance anxiety, that can create obstacles for me.

I agree with @bluebelle that it helps to have a target, and it helps to meditate.  It's also important for me not to be sick or overtired.  And as @jeanne-mayell stated, to relax, spend time in nature, and enjoy the present -- which for me includes time for play and laughter.  Some of my best intuition comes when I'm relaxed and engaged in other things.

@melissa

So many great thoughts and comments on your post Melissa.

I also have difficulty during RTFN and get more of my visions through a recording. I can also pause if things are flowing and not worry about moving to a new month to quickly.

I love the feeling of being in the flow! I am beginning to notice when it is occurring more often now.

@melissa At times, I only get one or two readings in certain months. When I get a reading, it's pretty vague. Surprisingly, I had many readings regarding Capcom and their plans for Mega Man in the past reading this past February.

@Melissa, What a great thread you started. I am so enjoying people's posts.  I want to add #7 to the list of reasons why we sometimes go blank and don't seem to have much coming to us intuitively:

7. I find that I work best when spirit comes to me with something it wants to tell me, rather than me having a question that I or some one wants answered.

When I let spirit come to me rather than pushing it to answer my questions,  I've had some powerful visions that have provided me (and this whole community) with perspective about our times.

I used to think I had to answer everyone's intuitive questions.  "Will I marry? What will happen next year with Trump? Will the Democrats prevail in the mid-terms? What's going to happen to the economy in 2021? When will COVID go away?"

I can throw a card to get some kind of answer to these questions, but the quality of the answer isn't always great.

But when spirit comes to me and tells me what it wants me to know, then I get the best information. These seem to come from guides on a need to know basis.  They want me to know something!  So it helps to be receptive and listen.

I used to do timeline readings of the future, not on command, but when I felt the spirit calling me. I might wake up early unexpectedly and feel I should get myself downstairs with paper and pen in hand and start writing what is coming.

It's as if spirit has something to say that will help me and others in the future.

In the early days of this work, the important transmissions were about climate change, and about long term cycles of the collective. In 2013 I got one of these and it has guided me ever since: I saw the Collective nervous system getting volatile in 2017 and more in 2018 and then crashing at the end of 2019 and really plummeting in 2020. (Pandemic obviously, combined with the height of Trumpism and near end of democracy)  Then it started recovering slowly in 2021, better after that in a slow climb out of the hole we'd created. Then a steep rise near 2027 and 8. Our collective ascent over the next 7 years looked like the profile of a great mountain, with two tiny women at the top, flashing victory signs!

It's as if Spirit said, "Jeanne, that's all ye need to know for the next fifteen years."

8. One more thing:  In this community, there is a collective visioning going on.  People are chipping in with their visions, and everyone is different in what they see.  It's so wonderful! So I stopped worrying when I don't see things. At Read the Future nights, others see what I don't see and together this community sees what people need to know.
