Adding this topic so we can discuss the visions people get and how to use them.
I hope this can go here, I don't know where to put it, so here goes....
@Jeanne
I have a question for those who may have a better beat on this, especially Jeanne. It is something that kind of scares me as it adds a "what's the point of fighting" aspect to it.
For the latest round (September 1st) of predictions, for 2028, Jeanne wrote:
"I see stone building arch, reminds me of Tower of London. I see the Tinman from Wizard of Oz. He needs oil and a heart. I see Vance running for reelection. I see an emperor (an oligarch or an oligarch’s puppet) winning the election. (Jeanne Mayell)"
With this prediction, I've had to look up what the tower of London is, because I have forgotten. And I'm wondering what the tin man has to do with this (I don't understand). Maybe could someone shed some light on this? Is the tinman Vance? Does he actually win by a rigged election (as unpopular as he is and hated as this administration will likley be by 2028)?
If another puppet of Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin, Mark Andreeson, and Sam Altman (to name a few of the billionaire class) it raises a question - what's the point? As in what's the point in fighting since they seem to have all the power anyway?
Are we going to get out of this?
will this turn the states inward away from the federal government ? (despite some states have already started - I know that California, Oregon, and Washington state are developing a coalition with each other to replace the CDC, possibly FEMA). If so, that would mean we're possibly on course.
With the prediction of an oligarch or oligarch puppet winning the 2028 elections, it makes me think we won't get out of it (in our lifetiime or in time to stabilize this planet climate-wise). Am I wrong? In that prediction, when I read it there was a clause that said something along the line of "it/this feels rigged", but it was later removed.
However, no prediction is set in stone, and a thank you to Jeanne for this prediction! Because forewarned is forearmed. Thank you !
Whether it be Jeanne or anyone, can someone shed some light on this for clarity?
I will say this. Demand hand recounts - for the midterms and 2028.
Please feel free to move this to a thread you feel would be better suited fot this question and statement.
@rick I want to bump this post because you ask good questions here. People turn to prognostication for hope, to find a light in dark times. But we know, especially with so many election predictions having been wrong, that we can't truly know exactly what is going to happen.
I live in an area that was wrecked and is still in recovery from Hurricane Helene. No one saw that coming, at least not the extent of damage and suffering that the storm caused. If I had seen an accurate prediction, what might I have done differently? Would I have believed it? I don't know. We were prepared to be without power and without water for days, but I don't know that we would have or could have prepared for more than that. Now that we've lived through this experience, we upped our emergency preparedness.
I stopped following this site for a while after the election because I realized that I had been overly relying on hope for things to be better than they are--visions of what might be--as a kind of emotional crutch. I needed time to process living with both the environmental disaster aftermath and the reality of what our nation was facing politically. I needed to pull myself into the present and contend with the grief and fear.
Now, because I genuinely appreciate the lovingkindness and motivations to make a better world within in this community, I check in. And yes, I do wish to see predictions for things to get better sooner than later! I still remember Baba posting a vision of a big shift right before the first impeachment years back. Of course we want reassurance!
How do we live without knowing though? Last November I had to find a way forward. Swaths of my city were in ruins and we did not have potable water, nor did we know when we'd get it back. The hopelessness was magnified--why even try to make the world better when everything is falling apart?
I think of the old story in which a farmer finds a young wild horse on his property and everyone in the village says, "What good fortune!" Then his son is thrown off the horse and breaks his leg, costing the farmer in medical care and lost labor. "Bad fortune," the villagers decry. Then army officers arrive, conscripting young men from the village, and the farmer's son is spared because of the broken leg. And so on it goes. All we can trust is that life will continue to unfold and things will keep changing.
What I decided is that what matters is how I want to show up right now. The outcome is beyond my control. I may never see the kind of world I want for my child, who is only 18, and that hurts. But I can be present wit the pain of this moment and still pick up trash from the road, even though there's probably going to be more trash tomorrow. Living deeply in the present is immensely difficult, and it helps to connect with others trying to do the same. Ultimately, that's where we find freedom.
@herondreams Thank you very much! I loved your reply. Like you, I also really believe it's important to remember that nobody knows exactly what's going to happen in the future. However, we can anticipate some of the potential outcomes. It's also important to remember that our decisions regarding how we use our own creative energy will have a huge impact on our future, and that we can decide how to use our own creative energy at any time, even at the last possible moment before an event occurs — and that this decision may affect the outcome. Whatever decisions we make regarding our creative energies at any time will have a huge impact on our own future. God has also given us the freedom to choose not to participate in an event that is highly likely to happen, even if many others will participate. Miracles can and will happen, and one miracle is no greater or more difficult than another. Therefore, the fact that no one can really know the future is about the freedom of each of our hearts. I truly honor this freedom of each of us. It is about being human.

Hi Rick, I've moved your post to this Consciousness thread because the answers are about consciousness, i.e., the process of prediction interpretation, as is @Herondreams' response.
To get something from a vision it helps not to project your worry onto it, or you’ll distort what it is saying.
At the time that I had that vision I did not know what it meant. The statement about "rigged election" was removed because was a cynical negative quip, an afterthought, not a prediction. There is no place in our predictions for cynical negative cracks which often are wrong. It's best to stick to the vision itself to try to figure it out.
I just looked up the Tin man online and discovered that the author who wrote the Wizard of Oz, (Baum) based his character on men made out of various tin pieces that were used in advertising in late 19th century America and placed in store windows.
So, the tin man represents a fabricated human advertisement!
Also, to win, a candidate must demonstrate that he has a heart. That is not easy to pretend, although we know that some candidates (no names please) have fooled people. He also needs oil. Oil is a huge factor in elections now. It continues to drive the world.
Stone arches represent strength, and stability, an edifice that Americans, feel their country can build from.
The arche of the Tower of London was a bridge, so to win, a candidate may need to be a believable bridge between two worlds, perhaps a bridge-builder or unifier.
The winner being an oligarch or protege of an oligarch does not mean the current V.P. wins. There are several billionaires who could be the winners, including the Illinois governor, who is one of the current dem favorites.
Perhaps that vision encapsulates key conditions for winning the election of 2028. I had not planned to name someone unless I got such a vision that named a winner and that one did not.
Stay tuned!
I woke up in the night and it felt like some very strong (human but remote) entity was attacking my cell phone and trying to get information from it. It felt like I could sense the person or group doing it. So I turned the phone off - not sure that does anything. Real or was I projecting fears? Any thoughts?
@jeanne-mayell I am sensing a deeper archetypal connection to the Tin Man image. Baum wrote 14 Oz books, including “The Tin Man of Oz,” which tells the character’s backstory. The Tin Man was originally a kind hearted woodcutter named Nick Chopper who fell in love with a Munchkin girl. The girl’s guardian didn’t want to lose her servant so she put an evil spell on his axe that caused it to turn against him and chop off his own body parts, which had to be replaced by tin. Because his physical heart was gone, he believed he had lost the capacity to love, which made him very sad, and his tears causes his tin body to rust until he can’t move. Dorothy and her friends find him and use oil to loosen his tin joints so he can move again. And it turns out he didn’t need a physical heart to feel love after all; he had the ability all along and just needed to be reminded of this. So, I see the Tin Man more as a symbol of our country being under an evil spell that is causing it to destroy itself. And the oil isn’t a symbol of money and power, but rather a lubricant that loosens things that are stuck, allowing us to rediscover our ability to love.
As to oligarchs: I think it’s useful to bear in mind that although all oligarchs are billionaires, not all billionaires are oligarchs. Oligarchy is about money and power via corruption and oppression, whereas some billionaires use their money for good.
Visions are deeply personal, and only the person having the vision can truly know what it means, so I hesitated to offer my perspective. If this doesn’t resonate, please feel free to say so.
Welcome to the forum and thank you for such an interesting and thoughtful post. I did not know that back story of the Tin Man and appreciate the thoughts you have on him.
@oceans246 Thank you for your in-depth history of the tin man and your interpretation!
And welcome to the forum!
As for my tin man vision, I think oligarch was the wrong word to describe who won the election. I had pulled the emperor card of the thoth tarot. To me in that moment it meant a person of great power, and I felt that the person had serious wealth and knew how to wield it.
I agree that not all billionaires are oligarchs, but I sensed that the winner was not an every day guy of modest means like Obama or Abraham Lincoln were when they ran for office. The winner was a man who had already achieved great power in business before winning.
It feels right that the tin man in my vision needed oil to treat the rust that made him rigid and unable to move. Thanks for affirming that, rather than focusing on fossil fuels. That said, I’ve had so much experience with my visions and how they unfold, that I wouldn’t put it past spirit to include a double meaning in the oil metaphor. Oil is needed to grease the joints of the 10 man and enable him to get unstuck and move forward. And supporting the oil industry may also be needed for any candidate to win in this country.
The fact that the tin man, who I’ve always loved, and always knew had a good heart, was included in the vision, tells me that the emperor who wins the election is a better human being than you-know-who and you —know-who’s second fiddle.
@jeanne-mayell Jeanne, it's so interesting that you mention Obama and Lincoln, as both are/were from Illinois. So is JB Pritzker, who is a billionaire but also seems to have such a good heart. I think someone else made a prediction that he would win. I think he might too.
