While reading your post I had a thought. I wonder if you and the other woman were representing neighbor countries of Russia and the contents of your purse, the "bag of tricks" at your disposal to fight him. Those items may contain weaponry, diplomacy and economic sanctions.
Whatever was in there, it appears to have warded him off. Good job!!

@baba, that was a fascinating dream. I really like @lovendures interpretation of it, especially seeing the contents as the "bag of tricks" to fight him. When I read your dream I also saw the contents of your purse as the deep-seated fears Putin has that he is trying to keep hidden from everyone. By dumping your purse you are exposing the truth of what he is trying to hide from view. His cover is gradually being blown, especially with the Russian people. He knows that if his people turn on him, he's doomed.
BTW, what do you keep in that purse of yours? LOL!
@baba what popped into my head is a purse and its contents as a strong and personal feminine and maybe feminist symbol, also with the power and authority of female leaders like Queen Elizabeth. That it frightened Putin in your dream - maybe he was uncomfortable and horrified by the feminine personal power your purse and its contents conveyed. Something like that!
I agree with you strongly. I've read or watched a video that explained Putin's prominent hate for strong women. In particular, he hates Hillary Clinton the most because of how unfraid she was of him when she was secretary of state under Obama Clinton. Maybe why he tried to hard to push for trump as president of the US. I believe that she was sanctioned by Russia recently, which is simply comical. Anyway, Putin insecurity of women goes a long way. Prior to the first meeting he had with Angela Merkel he had heard she was terrified of dogs, so he made it a point to bring in his large dobermans( I think that was the breed) to unnerve her. Real asshole move, but that's just the insecure man he is, he must be in control.
Specifically when it comes to the US and Russia foreign policy, I often daydream about how much better we would have been off with Hillary Clinton. As I have heard it her style of foreign policy mirrors that of Madeline Albright. But the Russian disinformation campaign was strong that year and i will be left to wonder what could have been.
In my dream last night, I was a 20-something woman with other women who were my friends. A huge bombed had been dropped on a building and totally demolished it and killed everyone inside. We were running inside another building and they were looking for us to blow up our building too. We heard that there would be 7 bombs dropped. Just before my dream changed, they struck my building and I doubt that I lived.
I think we are all having dreams such as this on some level.
I can't sleep at night because I am thinking of the people of Ukraine. When I do go to sleep, the dreams are scattered, anxious or unsettled. During the waking hours I am also thinking of the incredible people of Ukraine and even those in Russia who are also bravely fighting in demonstration and acts of rebelion for the very soul of their country and well as for those in the Ukraine.
Because we are all connected and the pain is so shocking and great, we are all feeling this unjust war .
I hope I never am able to normalize this in my waking head or in my dreams because this should never be normalized. This is not ok. This is a crime against humanity. This is an orchestrated annihilation of a group of people who were living their life in relative peace and freedom.
I am not sure if I had a simple normal dream or a predictive dream last night but decided to post it here just in case.
I had a dream that California had a large earthquake which could be felt to some extent in Arizona. Large enough that people might be displaced. I am not sure of the timeline but if it occurs, it should happen within a few months.
I had a dream that might be predictive. It is my first dream related to public affairs of which I am aware.
I dreamt that Merritt Garland was exiting a huge, dark, stadium-like doorway striding purposefully toward a an entrance of a different edifice, though it was implied in the dream. He had a busy assistant scrambling alongside. The interesting thing was that, even though I knew it was Garland, the face on the person was that of John Major, the former British PM. My interpretation is that soon Garland will make a "major" move, after he recovers from COVID one assumes, poor fellow

Odd, yet another public affairs dream after a life time of not having them. I credit this forum.
This dream also felt predictive albeit in a vague way. In the dream I saw Russia in the form of a negatively charge oval shape. The unpleasant energy was violent. Then I don't know if I awoke in the dream or whether I entered a semi-awake state in reality but suddenly the energy shifted to better than neutral. It felt sort of like a magic poof!
My interpretation is that when the Ukraine war is over, there will be a large shift in Russia for the better. I certainly hope so...may it come quickly....
In reading your dream, I wonder if perhaps Russia will be able to change in part because many people around the world have been praying and sending energy that l the people of Russia will truly understand what is truly going on with Ukraine.
We can't continue to our have future generations fighting their ancestors battles. Wishing others ill solves nothing. This repetitive pattern of destruction must end and it must end with us. Not simply by stopping the behavior and patterning, but learning and changing our hearts and minds. Hearts first.
