The Iranians have taken responsibility for mistakenly shooting down the Ukrainian airplane. An aviation expert on Anderson Cooper today (I didn't attach the segment because it is painful to watch) points out that the U.S. had ordered that no U.S. flights could enter or leave the Tehran airspace since Iran had started firing missiles at U.S. targets in Iraq. They are saying that Iran should have taken the same steps to protect innocent civilians from getting inadvertently shot down, especially since the missile launch location was close to the airport.
Did Putin order the strike? Probably not, but I saw Putin's face and smug expression in my mind's eye dominant in my psyche throughout the week that all this chaos was unfolding. Was Putin egging on the Iranian president while also egging on the U.S.? What was said in that secret phone call? Likely his words were more suggestive and he knows that Trump looks up to him and wants to prove himself a big boy in the military world. Some Middle East analysts point out that Putin benefits from the two powers squabbling against each other which weakens them while putting him on top. Putin was trained as a spy, a snake, aa master manipulator.
Many in the mainstream press, save the ultra right press, are blaming the chaos that led to the tragedy on Donald Trump. It was Trump's overreaction to every Iranian insult that escalated the situation. It was Trump trying to prove himself to his Kremlin mentor. In the end the only person who benefits from all of this drama is Vladimir Putin. (I posted this article three days ago, so ignore if you have read it) His U.S. asset gets a distraction from the impeachment news, and the U.S. and Iranian leaders are weakened in the eyes of the world.
Iran’s embattled regime was shaken by a wave of international condemnation and domestic criticism on Saturday night after admitting its forces shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane with 176 people on board and lied in a bid to cover up its role in the tragedy.
Facing possibly the biggest crisis since the 1979 Islamic revolution, senior clerical, political and military leaders scrambled to contain the fallout from what President Hassan Rouhani termed a “disastrous mistake”.
This is turning into a BIG deal. Canada is furious and the people in Tehran are protesting against the supreme leader.
They knew right from the beginning. So the question is, why did they cover it up?

So there is a rumor going around that T felt pressured from the GOP Impeachment jurors
Trump privately told associates that his upcoming impeachment trial factored heavily into his decision to kill top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Does anyone feel that that the downing of the Ukrainian plane may have inadvertently paused an escalation of war?
I certainly do. Iran got scared after that event. But I think they will retaliate in other ways, using terrorist group by proxy. 2020 is a big year for humanity and we have a lot of work to do as lightworkers.
I threw cards on the US Iran conflict before the the plane went down (posted it here on Jan 8) and saw that it would fizzle out. Today it feels over to me.
I think they [Iran] will retaliate in other ways
The new warfare is cyber warfare. To fight the U.S., they will join our other enemies with using influence warfare via cyber subterfuge, the way that North Korea retaliated against Sony Pictures for embarrassing them with the Seth Rogan movie. North Korea released embarrassing emails to the public of Sony executives' emails.
As for why the Iran-U.S. violence will die out -- As I posted here on January 8th, the violence will die out as soon as Trump gets his intended effect -- which was to create a distraction from the impeachment and to impress the Senate hawks so they'd let him off quickly during the Senate trial. Mission accomplished, squabble with Iran is over. Meanwhile his escalation of the conflict killed hundreds of people and caused terror around the world.
Now the Pentagon says there were 11 injuries (casualties) in the Iranian attack on the US base in Iraq. Previously they sad no casualties. Most are being treated for concussions in Germany, Boy that took a long time to come out and it hasn't even been reported in most of the media yet.

50. That is now the number of US military personnel who have now been diagnosed with concussions and traumatic brain injuries following the Iranian missile attack on US forces in Iraq earlier this month, according to a statement Tuesday from the Pentagon.
I love the support they are getting from the White House. Not.
